  • Don’t expect an album from me this year-Paul Okoye declares

    Paul Okoye, former member of defunct music group, Psquare has declared that his fans should not expect an album from him this year.

    Ever since Psquare broke up, the talented twin popstars have been making their own individual songs.

    Paul noted that he doesn’t want to be put under any pressure, adding that he will be releasing songs and music videos every two months.

    Hear him : ”Don’t expect an album from me this year. If I do it, it will be too much. An album will come out next year, but I will be dropping songs like in every two months. I have like four more songs to release this year” he told Hip TV.

     

    Recall that Paul apologised for the role he played in the rift that made Psquare break up.

    Paul said in a radio interview:” My fans, take heart. As e dey break my heart, na so e dey break una heart.I think I was very stupid, in that aspect. Something got into me. I couldn’t stand him. But what I did, I regretted it. Please forgive me for that and let me move on.Everybody has problems in their families, everyone has issues.”

  • Why we are selling the Psquare-ville- Paul Okoye

    Paul Okoye, one half of the defunct Psquare duo, has opened up on the reason why the famed Psquare-ville was put up for sale. Recall that the separation of the brothers who make up the one-time biggest music group in Africa shook fans in Nigeria and beyond.

     

    In a recent interview , Paul Okoye fondly called Rude Boy revealed why the Psquare-ville is being put up for sale.

     

    According to him: “’It is a normal thing. I and Jude own square-ville so we decided to sell it. We had already fixed it up as our office and studio and one side for our signed artiste. When we moved into Ikoyi, going down to Omole became too stressful. Before now, we were okay with the house on the mainland because we had no kids nor family then. Now we have our families and going through the third mainland everyday was stressful.

     

    So we just decided to sell it while we are making plans to buy somewhere on the Island, preferrably Lekki which is close to us, not the one that the house is on the mainland and when we have to go there, we would be checking the traffic situation” he noted.

    Beyond the glamorous life celebrities live, they are not exempted from the hard knocks of life.

    Anita Okoye, the wife of one half of the separated group, Psquare, Paul, has said that she endured four miscarriages before giving birth to twins in July.

     

    The elated mother-of-three opened up on Instagram on Thursday and articulated her gratitude to friends and family members who stood by her during the trying times.

     

    Anita said shewas not expecting a set of twins after the miscarriages.

    She wrote: “Who would have thought after 4 miscarriages, I’d be dancing and singing and dedicating TWINS to God almighty!! This God is too good o!!!

    “God has really turned my mourning into dancing again and has lifted my sorrows. I am so grateful to God, my family and friends for standing by me through it all, for remembering me in their prayers, for every ounce of support…God bless every single one of you!!

  • Weeks after separation, Paul, Jude Okoye make appearance at 2face’s Concert

    Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye of the now defunct Psquare made an appearance at Buckwyld n Breathless yesterday night without Peter.

     

    Recall that the brothers were accused by their other brother Peter of conspiring to fight him, leading to the disbanding of the group.

     

    Since the disintegration, both Peter and Paul have been performing like solo upcoming artistes. Sadly, their elder brother, Jude has refused to speak about this crisis.

     

    Both brothers declined questions from newsmen appealing that they had to be on stage that very minute. Paul then performed on stage for a few minutes with Timaya.

  • Paul Okoye laments over losing $300 to gambling

    Paul Okoye of the popular Nigerian pop group, Psquare has narrated how he lost $300 to gambling while in Las Vegas.

    The disappointed entertainer took to his Instagram page to cry out after losing the money.

     

    Paul said he spent $300 on gambling but ended up winning just 25 cents.

    He shared a picture of the casino voucher and the money he won with the caption:”After spending $300 on #gambling …I won 25cents ? ndioshi !!! Oloshi !!! Barawo !!! #yahoomachine ?#scam #yahooplus.. the funny thin is that u will just be getting some free shayo? and na fine girls dey in charge for table ?with all de disco light ? u go just de mumu de go ?”

    Paul Okoye, one of the identical R&B Nigerian singers, P-square, has announced that he is now a father to a set of twins.

     

    The ecstatic singer took to his Instagram page to announce that his wife, Anita Okoye, on Sunday gave birth to a boy and a girl.

     

    He wrote: “God!! Na me be dis!!?

     

    “What else can I say. God we thank you; now the house is complete, full house soon.”

     

    The couple,had their first child, Andre in 2013, and have named their twins Nathan and Nadia.

     

    Paul apparently met Anita in 2004 while attending the University of Abuja, and they got married in March 2014, after courting for years.
