    Former lawmaker Ben Murray-Bruce has confirmed the passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who reportedly died in London. The cause of his death is not yet known as of the time of filing this reports.

    In a post on platform X, Murray-Bruce expressed his condolences to the late Anambra lawmaker’s family, stating:

     

    “With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. His contributions to our nation, both in the oil sector and public service, will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength during this difficult time.”

    Platform X CEO and billionaire businessman, Elon Musk has revealed that he’s not in support of his son’s transgender transition.

    According to Musk, he was “tricked” into signing documents for his son to become a transgender with the threat that he might commit suicide if he doesn’t consent to his gender transition.

    Musk told Daily Wire during an interview session that his son is affected by the woke-mind session

    He said his son is “dead,” stressing that he has been “killed” by the “woke-mind virus.

    He added that he vowed to “destroy” the “woke-mind virus” after his son’s gender transition.

    “I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys… This was before I had really any understanding of what was going on,” he said.

    “There was a lot of confusion and you know, I was told, oh he might commit suicide…”

    “My son Xavier is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

    “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that… and we are making some progress.”

    Elon Musk is a staunch supporter of the Republican Party presidential candidate, Donald Trump, who is known for his anti-LGBQ stance.

    Trump vowed to stop transgender men from competing in women’s sports if elected as President in November.

    He recently revealed that Musk donates $45 million to his campaign fund monthly.

    Elon Musk approves X-rated content on Platform X

    Elon Musk has given an order authenticating the use of X-rated content on platform X provided it goes through the laid down guidelines and procedures.

    Adult content and nudity has been present on Twitter for years before Musk takeover in 2022.

    The new guidelines, first reported by Tech Crunch on Monday, explicitly permit users to share adult content “as long as it is consensually produced and distributed adult nudity or sexual behavior.”

    X released  updated guidelines over the weekend, stating that “sexual expression, visual or written, can be a legitimate form of artistic expression.”

    Under the new policy, posting adult content is formally within the rules as long as it is labeled and not prominently displayed, such as in profile pictures or account banners.

    According to the new released guidelines, accounts that regularly post adult content will be required to automatically mark their image and video posts as sensitive content.

    Adult content will also be prohibited for users identified as children or adult users who choose not to view it.

    The policy extends to AI-generated content, animations, cartoons, hentai and anime.

    X’s safety team tweeted the new guidelines would “bring more clarity to our rules and transparency into enforcement of these areas.”

    Billionaire businessman, Elon Musk considers buying Disney

    Billionaire businessman and Platform X chief Executive Owner, (CEO) Elon Musk has expressed strong desire to buy shares of American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney.

    Musk added that he would only consider buying Disney should activist investor Nelson Peltz is elected to Disney’s board.

    It would be be recalled that Peltz lost a challenge to Disney’s board with majority of stakeholders voting against him.

    Reacting, Musk, who was recently appointed as Disney’s Chief Diversity Officer, said he believed that Peltz has a lot to offer the company going by his track record.

    On his X handle, he wrote: “Nelson Peltz should definitely be on the Disney board!

    “He would help reform the company, improve the quality of product and generally serve in the best interests of shareholders, as he has done at many other companies.

    “This would significantly improve Disney’s share price.

    “While I don’t own any Disney shares today, I would definitely buy their shares if Nelson were elected to the board.

    “His track record is excellent.”

    Elon Musk makes massive announcements for Platform X users

    Elon Musk the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of X (formerly known as Twitter), has made massive announcements to the delight of  platform X users.

    According to Musk, all accounts with 2500 verified subscriber followers will get Premium features for free.

    Musk, a billionaire who purchased X in October 2022, also said that accounts with over 5000 will get Premium+ for free.

    Musk made this known via a post on his X handle on Thursday.

    His post reads:“Going forward, all X accounts with over 2500 verified subscriber followers will get Premium features for free and accounts with over 5000 will get Premium+ for free,” Musk said.

    It would be recalled  that the X Premium subscription gives account owners access to a number of features such as reduced ads, access to apply for revenue sharing and more.

    While the X Premium+ subscription comes with some additional benefits such as no ads and reply prioritisation.

    Musk had confirmed on Wednesday amid the growing rivalry with OpenAI that the Grok AI chatbot which was only accessible for X Premium+ users before now will now be accessible to all Premium users soon.

    The billionaire has  now channeled  his efforts on getting users to pay a nominal subscription amount in order to bolster the social media giant’s revenue.

    Social media users erupt on Platform X as CAF tweets in Yoruba, Igbo, pidgin

    Many social media users have expressed their joy at seeing Confederation of African Football (CAF) tweet on Platform X  in some Nigerian languages.

    CAF joined a host of other people across the world in celebrating Nigerian trio Victor Osimhen, Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie after they were conferred as the best players and goalkeeper in Africa on Monday night while also celebrating the Super Falcons team that emerged as the best Women’s team on the continent.

    At the awards, Osimhen was named African Footballer of The Year after beating Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah to the award at a ceremony in Marrakech on Monday, with compatriot Oshoala winning the top prize in the women’s category.

    Super Falcons and Paris FC goalie, Nnadozie beat fellow goalkeepers in the form of Moroccan shot-stopper Khadija El-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Olaminii to claim the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of The Year for 2023.

    In celebrating the Nigerians and the women’s team, CAF in a series of posts on their official X handle has been tweeted in Yoruba, Igbo and, pidgin languages.

    One of the tweets in Yoruba read, “Mo so fun yin o #CAFAwards2023”

    Another tweet in pidgin read, “Naija full ground, Naija gather dey, Naija no dey carry last!”

    Tweeting in Igbo, CAF wrote, “Osi na nwata buru ogaranya 1! Inspiring the next generation with greatness.”

    Reacting to the tweets, an X user, JosephOnuorah wrote, “This guy na one of us – Nothing anyone can tell me! Proper naija boy behind the CAF handle ? We see you bro ?

    Platform X to introduce video, audio call features

    Elon Musk, the owner of Platform X formerly known as Twitter has concluded arrangements to add video and audio call features to the app.

    According to Musk, the new features will not require the use of a mobile number.

    The Platform X CEO made the announcement  via the platform on Thursday, August 31, 2023

    Musk wrote: “Video and audio calls coming to X. Works on Android, iOS, Mac & PC. No phone number needed. X is the effective global address book. That set of factors is unique.”

    This is coming some weeks after X, formerly known as Twitter, started paying rewards to creators who are Twitter Blue subscribers.

    Recall that Musk had in July replaced the social media’s globally recognized blue bird logo with a white X on a black background.

    Since the acquisition of the app, Musk has added a lot of features in a bid to improve it.
