The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that it would accept electronic transfer of results, but bars telephones from polling booths. This was announced on its official Twitter page, @inecnigeria, Friday, by the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, as he unveiled the revised INEC Regulations and Guidelines for the Conduct of Elections.

Heavy rainfall has disrupted the ongoing election process in Ijebu area of Owo Local Government of Ondo State, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
