Temitope Osoba, the Nollywood actress, has opened up about how cancer almost prevented her from conceiving.
TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that the thespian, in an interview on Oyinmomo TV, disclosed that she underwent a series of tests to confirm the cancer had not spread.
She further disclosed that the doctors had told her she would not be able to conceive for the next five years because of the medications, as it would affect the baby.
She, however, said she rejected the report, held onto her faith, and began praying and fasting over the issue.
She said, “I was told I had cancer and that further tests would be carried out to check how far it had spread. The doctors also said I wouldn’t be able to conceive for the next 5 years because of the medications I’d have to take, as they could affect the baby.
“Hearing that at 38 years old was devastating. I couldn’t imagine waiting that long. But I rejected the report and held on to my faith in God. I began the journey with prayer and fasting, combining both the medical and the spiritual. When I did a CT scan, it came out negative; the cancer hadn’t spread. Eventually, they performed a second surgery to remove the remaining tumour”.
Nollywood actress Sarah Chukwukere has opened up on her preference in the bedroom, noting that she enjoys being in charge during intimate moments.
The actress who shared a photo of a heavily built, tattooed man on her Instagram page on Thursday, warned women against being attracted to such men.
Sarah further advised women to seek out more responsible partners instead.
“Women that are attracted to men like this should be careful!” Martins wrote.
She continued, “Being attracted to men built like this simply means you are attracted to gigolos, playboys, time wasters, club lovers, and they will drain you financially, emotionally, and sexually.
“Go for calm-looking responsible men that have something going on for them outside social media fake life.”
The actress also provided a glimpse into her personal life, describing her ideal man and her preferences in the bedroom.
“As for me, I like my man calm and decent. I’m a tattoo lover but I don’t like men on tats. I’m a very freaky lady low key so I like being in charge in the other room.
“My man mustn’t necessarily be as freaky as I am, but if he’s freaky like me then it’s a plus,” she added.
Popular actress, Cossy Orjiakor, has said that any lady found to sleep with dogs should be dealt with in accordance with the law.
Orjiakor explained that she had to leave town about two decades ago, when a journalist reported that she slept with dogs.
Recall that Orjiakor had recently called out the police for not taking any action when her own case was reported and made public, but acting with dispatch when a lady claimed on social media that she had slept with a dog, commonly referred to as ‘man’s best friend’.
Asked if there was any ‘smoke’ to the ‘fire’ in the allegations, Orjiakor said: “The pictures that went viral were actually taken on the set of a movie she was acting in at the time. It was a make-believe thing. Besides, there were a lot of people around (on the set), including the director and his wife. I don’t know if he (the journalist) was just trying to promote the movie, because actually, I knew him in person.
“He was dating a friend of mine and she even tried to intervene. He just put the story on the cover of the newspaper. It was so bad that even churches used me to preach. I was looked down on. Everybody was scared that period because they thought I had HIV/AIDS.
“The journalist actually included it in his report that I had contracted the disease. I had to run away for my safety. But, even when I ran away, they contacted my father and told him that I acted in a pornographic movie. It was so bad.”

On if she ever sought any form of redress from the journalist, the actress said: “I only went to the police station to report the matter because I knew it was a criminal offence. Back then, I was not the kind of person that could afford a lawyer because I was poor.
“I think I was 21 years old at the time. I was very young and there was nothing that I could do, except report the case to the police station. But, the police did not come out to say anything. It seemed like nobody cared. They were just happy that somebody was been dragged in the mud.
“However, a girl claimed that she slept with a dog on social media, and the police rushed into action and arrested her. I don’t even know if I can still get justice.”
Meanwhile, Police in Lagos has dismissed reports that the woman, who was filmed saying she had sex with a dog, had died of infection.
A national daily reported on May 10 that the woman, whose identity is still unclear, had passed on from infection.
However, spokesman of the Command Benjamin Hundeyin said in a statement on Friday that the report was fabricated.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the statement said, “The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn to a publication with the above caption dated May 10, 2022 and credited to one Kayode Ajiboye of Independent Newspapers.
“As this borders on an ongoing police investigation, the Lagos State Police Command reached out to the author of this article for information that would help the police conclude/close the investigation. Shockingly, however, the author claimed he could not verify the story but simply lifted it from an online blog.
“Not only did this author not credit the original source (plagiarism) of the news in consonance with simple ethics of journalism, he also made no attempt to fact-check the news, thereby making himself susceptible to the spreading of fake news, especially knowing how critical and sensitive the facts in issue were.”
