    Late Alaafin of Oyo’s family issues strong warning to former queen Dami

    The children of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi have issued a strong warning to one of the widows of the late monarch, Queen Dami, asking her to refrain from making derogatory remarks about him during interviews.

    The warning comes days after Queen Dami, in a recent interview with Nigerian journalist Esabod Aboderin, referenced the late Alaafin while discussing her relationship crisis with her ex-lover, Portable

    Part of her statement reads, “When I was in the Palace, the king didn’t allow us to work but I was selling fabrics online without his knowledge. Concerning Alaafin’s daughter who came out to say my son is not for the king, we never liked each other when I was in the palace, and that was why she came out to lie against me. I am ready to have a DNA test done on my son.”

    Reacting, the monarch family, in a letter dated 22nd January via the Instagram page of his daughter, Aminat Adeyemi, cautioned Dami to cease mentioning their late father’s name in future interviews, else they will take legal action against her.

    The family also stated that the estranged queen is the only widow of the late king, and her behaviour has become increasingly embarrassing and unacceptable.

    The letter memo, which was written with the letter headed paper of the late Alaafin of Oyo but not signed by anyone, has the caption, “On behalf of the ADEYEMIS’ Dammy be warned ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ officialqueen_dami Okó melo lówà nidi bàbá yen abi…dey play ▶️ To be forewarned is to be forearmed.”

    The ex wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo State, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, Queen Dami, has slammed his daughter, Adeyemi Adebisi Aminat, over her claims on her child’s paternity.

    TheNewsGuru reports that Adeyemi Adebisi Aminat, the daughter of the late Alaafin of Oyo State, via her social media platform had recently dragged her late father’s ex-wife, Queen Dami over her social media shenanigans.

    Adebisi pointed out the irony of how Dami was shaming someone over paternity of their child, yet, doesn’t know the father of her child. She claimed the former Queen bought the child from Port Harcourt.

    She stated that the fact that this palace isn’t talking doesn’t mean they don’t know what to say. She further stated that the Alaafin’s throne is not to be rubbished as she admonished Dami not to play with her.

    Adebisi revealed that she had all the blood tests and evidence before the King passed away.

    In response, Dami stated that the late Alaafin’s daughter never liked her when she was living in the palace, hence the motive behind lying against her. 

    She further disclosed that she was never allowed to work by the King while in the palace, but she was selling fabrics online without his knowledge.

    She also made known her willingness to undertake a DNA tests to prove her son’s paternity as she threw a shot at the late King’s daughter, noting how she is also not in a husband’s house after two kids.

    Recall that Queen Dami was married to the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye but the marriage crashed after she allegedly broke a palace rule, an act that prompted her to leave her marriage and run away from the palace.

    She later blamed the whole act on frustration and wrong advice from friends. Unfortunately, her relationship with the monarch was never repaired before his demise last year.

    Following the death of the King, Dami publicly moved on with Portable, who confirmed their relationship in an interview in 2023.

    She shared an adorable message for Portable, on her Instagram, as she excitedly expressed that Portable was her man, while also stating that he had her whole heart.

    The estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Queen Dami has announced the end of her relationship with controversial Nigerian singer, Portable after he “publicly insulted” her during a TikTok live session.

    TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that Portable on Wednesday night publicly criticised Damilola for being online late at night.

    He also accused her of engaging in “polygamy and prostitution”.

    He asked, “What are you doing online at this time? Do you want to be practicing polygamy. Do I not tell you not to be coming online at this time?.

    “Are you a prostitute? What is a housewife doing online at the time? Are you a prostitute?”

    Angry with Portable’s action, Dami ended the TikTok live session.

    Taking to her Instagram page, Damilola expressed her frustration and humiliation, declaring she would no longer endure the situation.

    She wrote: “I’m done. This is too much for me. I can’t take this embarrassment again. Oloriburuku somebody.

    “I’m gone for good. Go and eat your house.”
