  • Court sentences man to death for raping housemaid

    A special court has sentenced an Indian businessman and his domestic help to death for the brutal rape and murder of a 25-year-old housemaid in their home in Noida city on the outskirts of the national capital in 2006.

    The court of India’s Central Bureau of Investigation pronounced the quantum of punishment, a day after holding businessman Maninder Pandher and his aide Surinder Koli guilty in the crime they had committed in their house in Nithari village in Noida.

    This was the ninth of a total of 16 cases in the macabre serial killings that took place in Nithari in 2005 and 2006.

    While Koli has been found guilty in the earlier eight cases and awarded death penalty, Pandher was convicted in three cases and sentenced to death in two.

    Handing down the punishment in the latest case, special CBI judge P.K. Tiwari said both Koli and Pandher were involved in the rape and murder of housemaid Anjali in 2006, and they deserved to be punished in the strictest manner.

    “Koli had dragged the victim inside the house and made her unconscious, raped her, and then ate her flesh, therefore death sentence is the only option in law.

    “Pandher was also involved in the crime. Both will be hanged till death,” the court held.

    Anjali, who used to work as a housemaid in Noida, was reported missing in October 2006.

    Her killing came to light after Koli’s arrest in December that year when police discovered skulls and bones of 16 persons, mostly children, near Pandher’s house.

    The CBI took over the case from the local police subsequently and charge sheets have been filed in 10 out of 16 cases.

    The other cases are under trial.

  • Man allegedly rape own two step daughters

    A 50-year-old step father, David Ekong, who allegedly had carnal knowledge of two of his step daughters was on Wednesday charged before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.

    The accused, a brick layer, who resides at 30 Abule Oki St., Iyana Ipaja, a suburb of Lagos, is being tried for defilement, rape and assault.

    The Prosecutor, Insp. Clifford Ogu told the court that the offences were committed on Sept. 2 and 4 at the accused residence.

    Ogu said that the accused, who married the mother of the two girls, raped the first girl, 16, and defiled the second girl,12, on different days.

    “The accused threatened to kill them if they tell their mother,” the prosecutor said.

    Ogu said that when the first girl resisted his advance some weeks after he raped her, the accused beat her to stupor.

    “It is then that the girl told her mother what the accused had been doing with her and her younger sister.

    “The mother reported the matter at the police station and the accused was arrested,” he said.

    The offences contravened Sections 135, 171 and 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

    The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges .

    The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Taiwo Akanni committed the accused to a bail of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.

    Akanni adjourned the case till Nov. 21, for mention.

  • Reverend, assistant pastor jailed for drugging, raping women in Church

    A 59-year-old assistant pastor at the Liberty Pentecostal Church, in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England, Laurence Peterson, has been jailed for more than 8 years for helping a church minister, Rev. John Wilson, to sexually assault female parishioners.

    On several occasions, Peterson blocked doors and held victims down as a 70-year-old Rev John Wilson performed “grotesque” exorcisms on member of the congregation.

    A jury heard Peterson may have also laced the women’s tea with drugs to make them more compliant.

    The offences have reportedly left the victims mentally scared.

    Peterson was found guilty of counts of conspiracy to commit indecent assault and two charges of aiding and abetting Wilson to commit sex acts.

    Also Rev Wilson was jailed for 21 years for a string of sex offences against six women.

    The Pastor’s wife, Mary Wilson, was also found guilty of aiding and abetting her husband, and was handed a 22 month suspended sentence.

    Peterson is also banned from holding senior positions in religious bodies or perform ministries.

If he can have sex with little kids, do you think a grown lady with full grown boobs covered with a long flowing gown is not an exception. Not all prostitutes are raped. Church girls still face rape rapidly. A rapist pointing out your dressing is just trying to justify his actions”.

     

  • Tragedy as miscreants gang-rape 14-yr-old-girl to death for refusing love advances

    There was pandemonium on Monday at the Abule-Ado area of Lagos State as some miscreants ganged raped a 14-year-old girl, Obiamaka Ngozichukwu Orakwe to death for refusing their love advances.

    The miscreants, according to residents usually hanged out in a smoking joint in the area.

    On the day of the incident, Orakwe, a Junior Secondary School 3 student was alone at home. The miscreants were said to have gained entry into their (Orakwe’s) apartment from the back of the house, scaling the fence.

    They were said to have gagged her, took turns to rape her and, thereafter, abandoned her in a pool of her blood. Obiamaka Ngozichukwu Orakwe Her distraught mother said she was contacted on phone by residents, who saw the miscreants leaving the building through the fence.

    Curious residents were said to have knocked several times on the gate to ascertain the miscreants’ mission, without any response from within.

    On arrival, Mrs Orakwe reportedly opened the gate with a spare key, only to find her daughter in a pool of her blood in one of the rooms, gasping for breath.

    Recounting the deadly ordeal, Mrs. Orakwe said: “When I asked her what happened, she said it was those boys she had told me about. We rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.” A relative, who preferred anonymity said the deceased refused to join her siblings to spend the holiday at her uncle’s place in Lekki, saying “ she would like to stay at home to assist in the house chores.

    “Before the incident happened, she complained that some boys, who smoke Indian hemp in the area, were making advances at her, which she turned down. “They must have targeted when her parents usually leave for work before storming the place. She has been buried at Berger Cemetery.”

    The incident, as gathered, has been reported to the Police. Police sources at the Command Headquarters hinted that investigation into the incident had commenced. According to the sources, “efforts are on to arrest the perpetrators of the dastardly act. We will notify the public when this is done.”

  • Meet Nigerian pastor sentenced to 15 years for raping two girls

    Reuben Chizor, a Pastor of The Hope Restoration Ministries in Queens Village was sentenced on Tuesday to prison for raping two teenage girls in the basement of his church. Chizor’s victims were 12 and 14year old sisters who are members of his Hope Restoration Ministries congregation.

    According to NY Daily News, the trial testimony revealed last month that on July 27, 2011, Chizor took the 14-year-old victim to the church basement, where he lived, and raped her. In the same vein, he raped the 12-year-old on Aug. 22, 2011.

     

    Additional reports hint that in May 2013, the 56-year-old pastor continued with the crime by abusing one or both of the girls.

    In July 2015, the girls revealed to each other they were being raped. Thereafter, they notified the police about the crime.

     

    Queens District Attorney Richard Brown while sentencing Chizor, said: “The defendant took advantage of his position as a man of the cloth and the trust placed in him by his followers to satisfy his depraved desires. Through manipulation and conniving control, he sexually abused his two young victims for nearly two years.

    According to him, ‘What the defendant forced his victims to endure was horrendous and as punishment, he now will be spending a lengthy term behind bars.

    Parent catches babysitter raping one-year-old daughter

    Father of a one-year-old girl caught a babysitter who didn’t know her parents were going to return early from a visit to a food store molesting her.

    Jayson Newlun from Missouri had been babysitting the girl on the night of June 29th and thought he was alone when the child’s parents left to get some food.

    Metro Uk report says the girl’s mother forgot something and had to return home to pick it up and noticed that the babysitter, Newlun, was not on the couch anymore and their daughter’s bedroom door was open

    She allegedly saw Newlun taking inappropriate photos of her child before touching her genitals while inappropriately touching himself when she walked into her room.

    According to court documents, Newlun screamed before he was reportedly punched several times by the girl’s father and hit with a dresser drawer.

    A neighbour had to step in to stop the father continuing the attack on Newlun.

    Family members said 26-year-old was a family friend of the child’s parents and that they were only gone for five to ten minutes.

    Newlun was charged with statutory sodomy and was detained and taken to the Clay County Detention Center.

  • RAPE: Man sacks wife for enjoying session with armed robbers

    Benue born man (name withheld) has reportedly sacked his wife for making some moaning while being raped by armed robbers in his presence.

    The incident played out in the couple’s residence on Bello Street in Iyana-Ejigbo area of Lagos State, when armed robbers visited them in the dead of night few months after they came back from their village where they had conducted their traditional marriage.

    The heavily armed gunmen invaded Baba Eneh’s house around 3 am and demanded money, the native of Owukpa, Ogadigbo Local Government Area of Benue allegedly told the gunmen that he had only N3, 500 at home.

    The man, a commercial bus driver, reportedly begged the robbers that he did not have much money at home since he had expended all his savings on marrying his new wife and they were just trying to settle down.

    But the robbers who were angry that the man did not have much money at home, decided to gang-rape his wife at gunpoint.

    However, when the robbers left, the commercial driver was said to have accused his wife of enjoying the rape by moaning in excitement and twisting her waist as the robbers sexually assaulted her, instead of screaming for help.

    He was quoted as telling his neighbours: “Imagine my wife, instead of her to cry for help, she was busy making some funny sounds, an indication that she was enjoying the sex, even in my presence.”

    He was said to have ordered the woman out of his house on the ground that she disgraced him as it is against the customs of his community for a married woman to have sex with another man.

    The man is said to be afraid of what the gods of his land will do to him and has asked the wife to return to her village for the cleansing rites and sacrifices to be made.

    A Nigerian man arrested in Kenya has denied raping current Miss United States International University Africa (USIU).
    The suspect identified as Daniel Entony Daberechukwu denied raping the campus beauty queen, Nneka Enyantu Obi, who is also a Nigerian. She was crowned on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Thika Road Mall Convention Centre.
    Daberechukwu is said to have committed the offence on March 19 after the complainant attended a friend’s birthday party at Thika Road Mall, Nairobi, where the accused was in attendance.
    Police allege that all the friends in attendance were drinking alcohol and enjoying the music until 11pm when they switched clubs around the campus. The court heard that around 1.30am, the complainant and Daniel left for the hostel.
    It is then that Daniel allegedly offered to escort the complainant to her room since she was too drunk. Police allege that Daberechukwu started kissing the complainant along the corridors and instead of taking her to the room, he took her to his room.
    She woke up to find herself on his bed, while Daniel was on the floor. It wasn’t until she reached her room that she realized her panty was missing and her privates were in pain.
    Daniel has since denied the charge and was set free on Sh500,000 bond and ordered to deposit his passport in court. The matter came for hearing on June 9.

  • South Africa: Man raped by three women laments, Police launch hunt

    Three young women took turns raping a man over several days in South Africa, after they drugged him and held him against his will, say police.

    Detectives said the man, aged 23, was left severely traumatised after he was abducted from a taxi and gang raped for three days.

    He told police he lost consciousness after being injected with a substance and woke up in a room where he was raped several times a day.

    Police launched a hunt for the women and driver, and appealed for information after the man was freed by his captors.

    The man, from Pretoria, South Africa, told detectives that the women were inside the taxi, along with the driver, when he hailed it down on May 19.

    They were travelling towards the city’s central business district when the taxi changed direction, police spokeswoman Captain Colette Weilbach told Times Live.

    She said the man was ordered to sit in the front passenger seat, where one of the women injected him with a substance.

    The man passed out and was taken to an unknown location.

    Ms Weilbach said: “He stated that he woke up in an unfamiliar room on a single bed.

    “The female suspects then allegedly forced the man to drink an energy drink‚ before taking turns raping him numerous times a day.”

    She said the man went to police after he was dropped off in an open field in Benoni, about 30 miles south of central Pretoria, on May 22.

    He was “very traumatised” by the incident and received medical treatment.

    Ms Weilbach promised a “robust” investigation, adding: “The South African Police Service take all sexual offences seriously regardless of gender.”

    As they hunt for the trio, police are investigating whether the suspects have carried out similar attacks.
