    Popular Nigerian singer Reekado Banks has once again alleged that a demonic figure in the music industry is taking advantage of young talents.

    In an interview with podcaster Esther Oye, Banks expressed his intention to educate young artists about this individual to prevent them from falling into his trap.

    In his words: “There is one big man in the music industry who is demonic and taking advantage of young talents. I have worked with him before.

    “Other young artistes have also worked with him. I am not going to mention his name for now, but he knows himself. It will be nice to educate young artistes about this man so they don’t get wrapped up in his mess.

    “Every artiste this man has worked with always have a certain setback and they find themselves in a mess.’’

    Recall, the singer earlier threatened to expose a saboteur of budding talents in the Nigerian music industry. He also described the mysterious figure as either “demonic or clueless”, adding that the person somehow manages to find the best talent whose careers he sabotages with poor decisions.

    In a cryptic post on X, Banks wrote, “One day, I’ll take an interview to talk about someone in the corners of the entertainment industry, who’s either absolutely clueless or plain demonic.

    “Somehow, the brightest budding talents fall in their lap and either through cluelessness or pure demonic activities, they agree to policies that effectively slow these talents down and for some other talents, frustrate them out of pursuing their dreams. One day…”

    Nigerian singer, Reekado Banks, whose real name is Ayoleyi Solomon, has vowed to exposed an unnamed person killing talents in the entertainment industry.

    The singer via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter on Tuesday, stated that the brightest talents get lured in and made to sign policies that either slow their talents or frustrate them out of pursuing their dreams.

    His post reads: “One day, I’ll take an interview to talk about someone in the corners of the entertainment industry, who’s either absolutely CLUELESS or plain DEMONIC. 

    “Somehow, the brightest budding talents fall in their lap and either through cluelessness or pure demonic activities , they agree to policies that effectively slow these talents down and for some other talents , frustrate them out of pursuing their dreams.”

    Famous Nigerian singer Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known as Reekado Banks, has welcomed a child with his partner.

    The excited new father took to Instagram Stories to share the good news and photos of the newborn leaving the hospital.

    According to the singer, he left the hospital with his woman and their bundle of joy today, September 24, which is exactly two years since he lost his mother.

    Sharing photos of his late mother, he wrote: “Mother, today, 2 years ago, we said our goodbyes, but i see you never left, cos, how’s it 2 years after, I’m leaving the hospital, thankful for the blessings of fatherhood.

    “Nothing but deep appreciation to my woman for 10 months of absolute show of grit and strength.. love love, love forever.”

    Afro-pop singer, Reekado Banks has opened up on why he took a break from music. The former Mavin signee said the break was important for him to create time for himself.

    According to him: “I was busy taking out time for myself.I didn’t realize how much of myself I had already given out .I needed that time to get back in there, enjoy myself”, he told Hip Tv.

     

    Asked how he was able to convince his parents to support his music career, the ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe crooner said: “My parents are Pastors, I am the last child of six. All the other ones are grown up and they have handled them to a certain extent. When they got to my turn .I felt like they eased up a little bit. They were just like, do what you want to do”.

     

    Shedding light on the inspiration behind his buzzing song ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe, he said: “I have seen Ozumba Mbadiwe road more than I have seen many things. I have been on this road so many times so you can imagine why it would inspire me.

    The road is always busy. When people were looking for me asking for where I was? I only could relate to Ozumba Mbadiwe road. I am just as busy as Ozumba.I am busy working on myself”.

    Nigeria is at brink of war, politicians enabling it- Reekado Banks laments

    Star singer, Reekado Banks has stated that Nigerians must do everything to champion peace, adding that the country is on a brink of war.

    Banks made this known via his Twitter page on Monday, April 26, 2021.

    “Nigeria is on the brink of a civil war & the politicians are doing everything to enable it because their schemes thrive in havoc & when there’s a divide,” he tweeted.

    “As citizens, who will suffer the most from this impending disaster, we must do everything within our power to champion peace.”

    The music star’s tweet comes on the heels of killings and kidnappings around the country.

    Wizkid is apparently still very much keen in the fight against police brutality, so much so that he has lashed out at fellow musician Reekado Banks for releasing a track amidst the current turmoil.

    Banks took to his Twitter page to announce the impending release of his track ‘Omo Olomo’, which features the Starboy supremo.

    And the ‘Smile’ crooner was not excited about it, calling Banks a ‘fool’.

    Wizkid tweeted; ‘’Delete this dude! Can’t believe you are doing this at a time like this.

    Meanwhile, Reekado Banks is yet to respond as at the time of writing this story.

    It should be noted that Wizkid recently postponed the release of his highly anticipated Made in Lagos album, which was meant to be released today (Wednesday), citing the current protests as a reason for stalling the album release.

    Weeks back, Burna Boy stunned fans after he seemingly demeaned his colleague, Reekado Banks when he rejected his challenge.

    The drama began when a fan asked which fellow Nigerian artiste Burna Boy would love to challenge musically.

    Burna replied on Twitter saying:” I don’t know what a hit battle is but I’m willing to go toe to toe with any worthy challenger. Lyrically, musically, physically. However, they want it”.

    ‘Oluwa ni’ singer, Reekado Banks replied by expressing his desire to battle Burna Boy. However, Burna Boy in his reply said he doesn’t consider Reekado Banks as a worthy challenger.

    He said: “You know I got too much love for you bro. But didn’t you see when I said “Worthy Challenger”? Reeky oooooo!!!”

    In a recent Instagram live chat with media personality, Douglas Jekan, Reekado reacted on the issue.

    “To be honest, I didn’t take it as crazy as everybody else. That was why I still asked him ‘Are you doing the challenge or not? The idea was for us to play the music. I just thought we wanted to play music, but he didn’t see it that way, he saw it the way he saw it. And that just explains who he is; it has nothing to do with who I am”.

    On the impression that people thought he slowed down after leaving Mavin records, Reekado said: “They would imagine that since they were not seeing me. I was trying to build a structure and locked in the studio trying to record many songs. I was taking my time to figure out myself, to figure out how the rest of my life is going to go”.

    Nigerian Singer Reekado Banks has dropped his elder brother, Temi Solomon as his manager.

    Reekado Banks who spoke on the sack said:“It was just next level dealings, I wanted to get somewhere else, the vision became a lot farther, like I saw farther than I used to see and I just needed somebody that’ll see as much, most especially someone that’s been there with other people (artists) but me and my brother are cool.”

    When asked if Temi who has managed him since the beginning of his career is still a part of his team in any capacity, he answered in the negative saying that not at the moment.

    Reekado said that he needed to get to somewhere else, and that informed his decision, adding that this does not in any way affect his relationship with his brother in an interview with Cool FM.

    When asked if his brother is still part of his team in any capacity, Reekado said ‘at the moment, he’s not’.

    Banks is now managed by Twenty20 media led by Davido’s former manager, Kamal Ajiboye.

    It would be recalled that Banks joined Mavin Records in 2014 and left four years later in 2018.

    His record deal with Mavin Records came as a result of his brother submitting some of his songs to the label in an online talent search.

    Reekado Banks got signed to Mavin Records after his entries were selected from over 5000 entries.(

    Nigerian pop star, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon better known as Reekado Banks, has expressed his displeasure over a phone call that went wrong during a live TV show.
    The ‘Oluwa ni’ crooner who was a guest on the Live TV show was accused by an unidentified lady of dumping her after the duo engaged in sexual intercourse.
    “You had sex with me and you did not call me back,” the lady who called from Lekki alleged.
    When the host of the show defended the artiste, saying the caller had probably dialed a wrong number, she insisted on her claim.
    She said: “It is not a wrong number. Everybody knows Reekado Banks. I have been sending him messages…”
    The phone call saga has since sparked reactions on social media platforms, with users expressing their divergent views on what the lady had said.
    An angry Reekado took to his Twitter handle to say that he does not like the turnaround of the conversation around the issue.
    He said it was supposed to be a prank phone call but it was taken too far.
    “It is truly a problem when a media platform begins to pursue shock value at the expense of an artistes’ image,” he wrote.
    “So that was a prank call on a tv show, it was funny then , but I do not like where this is headed!”

    ‘Reeky’ as he is fondly called offered a heartfelt prayer on Twitter, stating that God should make him rich so that he can marry all the girls he loves since his exes are too pretty.

    He tweeted thus:
