    New wife to Mercy Aigbe’s ex-husband, Busayo Gentry reveals why her husband left his ex-wife

    Busayo Gentry, the new wife to Mercy Aigbe’s ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, has spoken on why her husband left his ex-wife.

     

    According to her, “my husband doesn’t just act without a reason.”

     

    She said whatever happened between her husband and his ex-wife (Mercy Aigbe) is none of her business.

     

    Busayo, however, noted that contrary to what some people think, her husband is no longer bothered about his ex-wife.

     

    In her words: “Whatever happened between them (my husband and Mercy Aigbe) then and now is none of my business. That was a family before mine and they never existed to me. Besides, we all have different ways of healing.

     

    “What social media doesn’t know is that people only let you know what they want you to know, and my husband doesn’t just act without a reason.

     

    “If people feel he hasn’t gotten over Mercy Aigbe, that’s because that’s how they see it. He is only concerned about his son and I believe if he hadn’t gotten over her, he wouldn’t have remarried.”

     

    On how she met Lanre Gentry, Busayo said: “I met my husband at a business meeting and I liked him because he was a very ‘free’ person. He knew exactly what he wanted and he went for it. I like people who have clarity of objectives. He always looks after my growth which is my priority.”

     

    She, however, noted that she might also go into entertainment.

     

    Busayo said: “I might go into the entertainment industry; I cannot tell yet. However, it would not be movies.

     

    “I would be showing more of myself in politics in the long run. My latest project will be known to the public once it is ready.”

    All is not well in the 8-year-old marriage of actress Yewande Adekoya to Abiodun Ishola Thomas, following her husband moving out of the matrimonial home.

     

    It was gathered that the marriage, which has produced two children, is almost hitting the rocks after Abiodun moved out of the matrimonial home.

     

    In the chat, which was obtained and posted by Goldmyne on Instagram, Yewande lamented how her husband had continued to abuse her emotions.

     

    Though the couple has been officially married for eight years, they have been together for 14 years.

     

    Yewande further noted that all she wanted from Abidoun was to respect and show her unconditional love.

     

    The actress also hinted that for many years in their marriage, she has been the financial backbone with Abiodun refusing to contribute to the running of the house.

     

    “For 14 years, I have been our financial backbone. I never for once complained. All I wanted was for him to grow up and act responsibly. I continued to beg him to show me love, treat me right and act responsibly,” she noted in the chat.

     

    Until the recent episode, Yewande and Abiodun, who are Nollywood practitioners, were seen as one of the commendable couples in the industry.

     

    Abiodun Thomas is yet to respond to the allegations neither has Yewande confirmed nor deny the crack in their relationship.

    Susan Oluwabimpe ‘Goldie’ Filani Harvey was a Nigerian singer and a Big Brother Africa star, who died on February 14, 2013.

    In an explosive interview with Neecee Boss TV, Denrele made the shocking revelation that he and the late Goldie were in an intimate relationship while she was married.

    He said, “I have not shared this anywhere but I can as well say it here. My beautiful late friend, Goldie, a lot of people just thought we were friends but we did have a few intimate moments and that is why I will say that I was the driving force; God bless her soul, she is resting in power.

    “I knew she was married, of course, we kept that secret. But we had what was more than friendship. We had a few moments ‘you know, we entered the corner.’”

    Until her death in 2013, many did not know Goldie, who was always seen in the embrace of Denrele, was married to a British man known as Andrew Harvey. Her husband came to the fore while her burial was being planned.

    The Nigerian pop star died of ‘hypertensive heart disease,’ which triggered an “intracerebral haemorrhage. Goldie was 31.

    I notice you are more into Kudi Alagbo as a brand than moviemaking. Are you giving up on filmmaking?

    I am working hard on both and I can’t leave one for the other.

    What’s your advice for those looking up to you in the industry?

    It’s simple! Keep praying and always stay positive. That’s the best way to survive in this industry.

    How best do you enjoy yourself when you want to relax?

    Honestly, I don’t want to sound nasty. If it’s about relaxation, I always want the maximum of it. I hope you get it, and if you don’t get it, forget about it (laughs).

    How is your beauty routine like?

    I don’t joke with my beauty routine at all. I visit my beauty spa twice a month and use some skin supplements.

    What’s the best gift your lover has ever given you?

    Gift? Maybe, good sex… Do you get it?

    What turns you on as a woman?

    Whenever he is sucking my breast!

    Are you open to any serious relationship or you are in one already?

    Relationship? Let me just say that I am happy with my present situation.

    What do you look out for in the man you want to spend the rest of your life with?

    I love a respectful, God-fearing man. Most importantly, I love when a man can satisfy me on the bed at least 10 times a day!

    DJ Cuppy opens up on relationship with Kiddwaya

    Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola also known as DJ Cuppy has cleared the air concerning her friendship with Kiddwaya, the ex-BBNaija housemate.

    The Nigerian billionaire’s daughter spoke during an Instagram live chat with Kidwayya on Wednesday.

    The duo sparked rumour of a romantic relationship in 2020 when Kiddwaya sent wishes to the disc jockey during a diary session of the BBNaija reality show.

    “The second message goes out to my second favourite girl Cuppy. I know she supports me out there. Thank you for your support. You have always been there for me and always close to my heart. I love you always,” he had said.

    The duo, however, fell out on the set of Highlife, a British documentary-reality TV show, and it affected their real-life friendship.

    DJ Cuppy said the platonic relationship between them is “very misunderstood,” because most people believe they hate each other.

    She added that they “are super close as friends” while professing the amount of respect she has for the reality TV star.

    “I feel like our friendship is very misunderstood. The fact that people actually think that we have bad feelings towards each other is mad,” DJ Cuppy said.

    “Because it’s the opposite, we are super close as friends. I have nothing but respect for you, and I’m really proud of you. I’m so proud of the man that you’re becoming.”

    Last year, the celebrity best friends got social media users talking after Kiddwaya is seen kissing DJ Cuppy on the cheek, in a public display of affection(PDA) in one of the photos.

    Some commenters suggest that they should take their friendship to a next level and start dating.

    [Devotional] IN HIS PRESENCE: Your salvation is a personal relationship

    Meditation verse:

    “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers” (Ephesians 4:11).

    When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you entered a personal relationship with Him. Note the word ‘personal’, for it is significant in your salvation experience. Bob Gass in his devotional; ‘The UCB word for today’ highlights the personal nature of our salvation experience. He says that “you need to pray in a distinctly personal way, so that your prayers are easy, natural expressions of who you are. You need to go before God just the way you are and give Him the pleasure of enjoying the company of the ‘original’ that He made you to be. You need to approach Him with your own strengths, weaknesses, uniqueness, and everything else that so wonderfully distinguishes you from everyone else. God enjoys meeting you where you are, developing a personal relationship with you, and helping you become everything He wants you to be”.

    It is therefore pitiable when we strive to be like other Christians. We compare ourselves to them, covet their spiritual gift or ministry because we sense it is more glamourous than ours. We even resent our area of gifting or who we have been called to be, preferring to be just like the other person. We take it further by mimicking their manner of speaking, preaching, singing and appearance. 2 Corinthians 10:12 says “but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise”.

    You are uniquely crafted to be who you were created for. Romans 8:29-30 says “for whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”. As you live out your faith, approach God as you are and let Him enjoy the company of ‘the original you’ that He foreknew from the beginning of times. Don’t pray in a certain way because someone you admire prays that way. Personalize your worship, praise, thanksgiving, confession, and intercession. That way when God opens His hands to bless you, He is delivering packages that are specifically designed for you.

    Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe ‘reveals’ latest darling

    Nollywood actress and mother of two, Mercy Aigbe has revealed her new relationship status.

    This is coming after the Edo-born script interpreter proudly shared the video of herself and alleged lover Adakaz who is reportedly the owner of Ibaka TV.

    Taking to her Instagram page, a few hours after that, the actress shared a stunning photo of herself in a blue outfit and a blue turban, describing herself as a wife to an Alhaji.

    Sharing the photo, she wrote: ‘Iyawo Alhaji.’

    Reacting to the post, Nollywood stars such as Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele, Nkechi Blessing gushed over Mercy’s photo.

    It would be recalled that the Nollywood actress tied the knot with Lanre Gentry in 2013 but they got separated in 2018 over accusations of infidelity and domestic violence.

    The actress until now has kept private matters away from social media.

    Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe has spoken on the recent hike of the Naira against the Dollar and has complained that it is making her depressed.

    She made a post on Instagram asking how other entrepreneurs are surviving with the exchange rate and paying school fees for their children schooling abroad.
