Shatta Wale slams Rema for ‘spitting on the dignity of Ghanaians’

Controversial Ghanaian rapper, Shatta Wale has once again fired Nigerian artistes again as he accused Rema, of disrespecting Ghanaian women.

The artiste made this known while reacting to Rema’s comment of having 10 Ghanaian girls to himself once he arrived in the country.

Rema tweeted, “10 Ghana girls once I land tomorrow to ease my mind.” (sic)

In his reaction, Shatta Wale tweeted, “See total disrespect to our Ghanaian women. Don’t you have money to go for a massage? Come chop ‘cause alone get d*ck. Nonsense tweet. All in the name of I’m a star.

“Using Ghanaian ladies in such a comment is like you spiting on the dignity of Ghanaians.”

TheNewsGuru recalls that Shatta Wale had earlier tweeted about Nigerian artistes, saying, “The table will soon turn. No man bigger than God! Ghana artiste go shine on the global market one day. Enjoy your time. But don’t come complaining when it’s our TIME!” (sic)

I followed due process, DJ Neptune fires back at Rema

Popular disc jockey, DJ Neptune has reacted to Rema’s accusation that he released the latter’s song ‘For You’ without his due consent.

Reacting on Instagram, DJ Neptune released a statement saying that he followed due process and reached out to Rema’s manager before the song was released.

Part of the statement read: “I wish to state that in the course of my work, Rema’s record was obtained and the right steps were taken…Terms were agreed upon and 24th November 2021 and the execution copy was to be sent in the morning of 25th November 2021. When I was contacted that Rema had requested that the said song be flagged down on the account of non-notice.

“I immediately reached out to Rema’s manager and team to explain the situation of things to them and also that the said composition could not be flagged down at the time as that would amount to flagging down the entire album.”

TheNewsGuru recalls that Rema had on Friday called out the disc jockey for releasing the song without his approval.

“With all due respect chief! Dropped my old record without due process?!! I’m not happy at all. @deejayneptune. Don’t violate the codes, can’t drop my song without my notice, can’t even remember the last time we spoke big bro, I pleaded with my manager behind the scenes when y’all tagged me before it dropped, y’all still went ahead! c’mon nau!

“This GAME! Don’t ride on my humility, there are some things I can’t be talked out of and number 1 is my ART, if you’re not ok with it then if it’s war it’s WAR. Don J go vex for me, Baba forgive me but this no join at all,” he wrote.

Rema, Omah Lay, Ruger serenade fans at Burna Boy’s 02 Arena concert

Rema, Ruger and Omah Lay were among artistes who entertained music lovers at Burna Boy‘s concert held at the popular O2 Arena in London on Friday.

The ‘Ye’ singer was the third artiste enlisted by the organisers for the O2 Arena’s ‘Welcome Back Show’ — a series lined up for music lovers returning to the facility months after it was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Burna Boy stunned the audience when he touched down on the stage in a spaceship which was greeted with ecstatic applause from the audience.

The concert, which is themed the ‘Space Drift’, featured exciting performances from the ‘Way to Big’ crooner and his team as he astonished the audience with hit tracks from his several discography.

Some of his hit songs performed to the delight of music lovers include ‘Kilometre’, ‘Location’, ‘African Giant’, ‘Pull Up’, ‘Way Too Big’, and ‘Another Story’.

I don’t want to sleep around with too many girls-Rema

Afro-pop singer, Rema has said he doesn’t want to have sex with too many girls.

The ‘Bounce’ singer took to his Twitter handle to share some of his opinions on some pertinent subject matter.

”I swear I just wanna love one girl and move on. I don’t wanna sleep around with too many girls, violating my energy and breeding disrespect because of sex, This d**k is GOLDEN how bout that!” he wrote.

The singer also had a word for people who say his music is childish. He wrote

”“His lyrics are childish” Yes! I’m young fucking let me grow, if I start spitting all the bars now what will spit when I’m 30 years old, I barely write music let me have a collection of experiences and chat real shit from my heart! Many niggas sing about shit they don’t do!

Producers don’t get enough credit, they are the backbone to any HIT song! At least give them the right royalty & publishing percentage, y’all niggas forgetting who took y’all vocals fr? y’all selfish. Yo let them eat! I give my producers what they deserve and that’s FACTS!

Rema also counseled young people who are depressed and considering suicide because they are not rich and famous.

”Too many youths depressed and committing suicide because they want to be rich and famous early, pressuring yourself because if you’re not a success early you’re not a success at all! Be patient! Not everybody with money is HAPPY!

I will repeat my clothes, I don’t care if I’ve worn it before, laugh at me all you want I bought it with my hard earned money, I’m rich you’re not and you’re judging me? Lol some of your favs are owing they stylist and that’s FACTS!” he wrote

  • A girl rejected me before fame-Rema

A girl rejected me before fame-Rema

Divine Ikubor, a Mavin Records-signed singer better known as Rema, has embarked on a series of Twitter rants. In one of the outbursts, he noted that he is not of this world, adding that a girl rejected him before fame.

The rants began after the 20-year-old Afrobeats star announced that he had hit 100 million streams on Audiomack.

“Niggas don’t wanna see a kid win, they feel I got it too easy. I shower with my sweat, we go off on this side like the days in BENIN it got nun to do with my deal, come and sign these papers without a hustler spirit, you gone lose! Management gone change my password now lol,” he wrote in what seemed to be a Kanye West kind of rampage.

“Niggas label my music rubbish because I infuse my Edo language. Because I didn’t follow the usual guidelines to music, because I hacked Afrobeats with God-given melodies, they called it ‘Indian’ because they DO NOT UNDERSTAND ME. I’m not of this world, know this now!

“I climbed this cliff with bunch of rejected beats. Some niggas hate me because of that. When we in the same room together, don’t label me proud or rude because I don’t smile, talk or laugh to your jokes.

“Thank you OBAMA for seeing what I saw in Ironman, lot of niggas couldn’t. I was 18 when I made that song, the beat got 6 sounds. I’ll give that simple beat to half the game and I won’t get a record as strong as IRONMAN.”

Rema also added that stakeholders in the music industry often dismiss him as disrespectful because he doesn’t alert them before putting out his projects.

He touched on how an acquaintance of his — identified as Ozedikus — sneaked beats that became hits for him.

“I protect my spirit and my flesh, whatever scar I die with my reborn shall possess. Niggas feel I’m disrespectful, they want me to alert them before I drop. I done made millions before this fame, let no man feel this money changing me,” he continued.

“I told D’prince sir I’m making money where I’m at I think I’m good. D’prince said to me stop what you’re doing and come to me boy “you’re the chosen one”, this music shit is gonna pay if you trust me! To the girl who rejected me before fame, I’m eating the royalties off this pain. (WHY)

“Ozedikus took risks for me, he was under management with guidelines. He sneaked beats to me so I could record when my first engineer left me because we couldn’t pay him at the time. All the beats Ozedikus sneaked are now HITS.

“Eric, Sorry I stole your Laptop in 2017, I know you were trying to help me. My Mom had a child on the way, I was the only man in my family. They made fun of her because she got pregnant, I wanted to prove them wrong, bro. I had to do it.

“When my late brother did house parties y’all came when he died only 2 friends stood beside his death bed. That’s why I’m not comfortable around people, they love me because I have something to offer, You know yourselves don’t let me catch you!!!

“Dear new generation artists, let’s be friends genuinely, don’t let these people forcefully make us friends just to prove healthy competition and make us enemies for their own entertainment. I swear I love y’all.

“My first show was 6 zeros, the second month of my arrival into the game, ask the INDUSTRY. I performed with a mask on, because I came into the game with an unannounced EP like the thief in the NIGHT. Bet some of y’all niggas thought it was for fashion. Pathetic.”

‘Bad commando’ singer, Rema has honoured his promise to take one of his female fans on a date.

A few days ago, the 20-year-old took to his Twitter page to call on his female fans to share a picture of themselves for a hangout, shortly after the release of his romance-oriented single ‘Ginger Me‘.

On Wednesday, Rema shared a clip of a sexily dressed lady showing off her waist-dance moves in bum shorts, in a tweet he had captioned, “Let me close my eyes, I have a date tomorrow (Friday).”

Rema would later tweet another clip of himself alongside a lady identified as Nimie on a cruise, where he held and kissed her while standing closely behind.

TheNewsGuru recalls that Rema had in an interview admitted to wanting a relationship while speaking of how he has been coping with the rigours of making it to the limelight at a tender age .

“I really want to be in a relationship but still looking for the right one. I want to enjoy the peace because it’s really noisy: cameras flashing lights, meetings, studio sections,” the singer had said.

“This whole music stuff is beyond ordinary for me that’s why things are happening differently for me and I am very spiritual from my angle and I don’t do my things the same way as everybody.

“Home is actually my peace. I find peace either in church or at home. My own personal space, but yeah! It will be nice to find someone I can share it with, but then, I have not found the right one.”
