Moses Bliss: Why many Nigerian women may not see husband – Reno Omokri

Popular social critic Reno Omokri, has said if more nations allowed entry without a visa or with a visa upon arrival, there would be a marriage crisis among singles in the nation.

He called the money-loving habits of Nigerian women, particularly those in the south, the Industrial Money Obtainer culture’.

Omokri while speaking on why Moses Bliss married a Ghanian lady, said their women tend to be easier to relate with than many Southern Nigerian women.”

Omokri brought up the fact that when Nigerian men travel outside and encounter women of different races, they almost ever look at Nigerian women again.

Taking to his facebook page he noted that “when Southern Nigerian men travel within Africa and outside Africa and encounter beautiful women who are not money conscious, they quickly lose their appetite for Nigerian women.”

According to him, “Nigerian men are considered a catch by South African and Kenyan women. We urgently need a cultural reorientation amongst our women. Especially in Southern Nigeria.

“The monetization of relationships in Southern Nigeria is just too suffocating. I am well-traveled, and I am yet to see the level of commercialization of romance I have seen in Southern Nigeria. I call it as I see it!”

He is ignorant – Reno Omokri blasts Peter Obi over Ukraine food aid to Nigeria

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has lambasted Peter Obi as ignorant for referring to Ukraine’s food aid to Nigeria as a national disgrace.

Omokri, a former Special Assistant to erstwhile President Goodluck Jonathan, noted that Ukraine is the world’s 7th largest wheat producer, and that the war in the country has not affected its position.

He said Obi, who himself is a former Governor of Anambra State, needs to be educated about Ukraine and wheat, adding that not everything must be politicised.

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party had described the “generous donation of tons of grains to Nigeria” by Ukraine as a national disgrace.

Reacting, Omokri wrote: “It is very ignorant for Peter Obi to say that it is a “national disgrace” for Nigeria to receive food aid from Ukraine because it is a war-torn country.

“Peter Obi needs to be educated about Ukraine and wheat. Please fact-check me: Egypt received food aid from Ukraine long before Nigeria did.

“And Egypt is still dependent on Ukraine for 60% of its wheat and much of its fertiliser needs. Yet, Egypt is a country that Peter Obi praises.

“Obi even went to Egypt to study their economy. The attached photo was taken when Obi was visiting and praising Egypt.

“In fact, Obi is looking well fed in this photo. Maybe the Egyptians fed him a lot from the wheat donated to them by Ukraine.

“It is not everything that we must politicise. Ukraine is the world’s seventh-largest wheat producer, and the war in Ukraine has not affected her position.

“The whole world was affected when Ukrainian wheat could not hit the market, and the World Trade Organisation, led by a Nigerian, helped to organise a deal with Russia that allowed Ukrainian wheat to get to countries like America.

“Please Google it. Ukrainian wheat is not only bought by America but it is also being used as food aid to multiple countries. Obi should stop politicising hunger!”

2023 Elections: How PDP got it wrong – Reno Omokri

Nigerian author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has noted that Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) got it wrong by not  picking  the current minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Nyesom Wike, as the vice presidential candidate of the party.

According to him,  Wike would have ensured victory for PDP in the presidential election by winning Oyo, Abia, Rivers, Enugu, and Benue states.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu defeated PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi to emerge as the winner of the presidential election.

Omokri posted on X: “The biggest mistake we made in the PDP during the #NigerianElections2023 was not giving Wike the vice presidential slot of our party. By how many votes did we lose to the APC?

“Less than two million. If we had a running mate like Wike, we would have gotten that collectively from Rivers, Oyo, Abia, Enugu, and Benue with the G-5. In politics, you do not do what you like to do.

“You do what you have to do. Under normal circumstances, an alpha personality like Wike would be too assertive to be a follower. I would not even support it if all things were equal.”

Reno Omokri mourns late singer, Oladips

Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the death of Nigerian pop star, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimenji, famously known  as Oladips.

Oladips passed away at exactly 10:14 pm on Tuesday night.

In the late hours of yesterday, videos made the rounds on social media of Oladips seeming to have collapsed as his friends surrounded him.

However, Omokri has taken to his Platform X account to react and mourn the singer, while comparing his death to that of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

He also prayed to God to give Oladips’ family the heart to bear the loss.

“First MohBad, and now Oladips. The similarities in the manner of their passing are eerily unnerving. Sudden illness. Allegations of self-medication. Rushed to a hospital. And then death. This is one déjà vu too many,” Omokri tweeted.

“Perhaps it is time for the Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria to approach a Health Insurance provider to offer their members affordable, accessible and quality healthcare with HMOs.

“And sensitisation and awareness need to be increased amongst the entourage of these artists on what to do in an emergency. Knowledge saves lives. Their posse needs to possess information on the right way to apply first aid if they must be around them. Let’s think of solutions, not just blame.

“We do not need tributes for our artists. We need long lives for them. It is a significant loss to Nigeria when young, talented entertainers, capable of rebranding our image internationally, meet untimely deaths.

“May God grant the family, survivors, and fans of Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji the fortitude to bear their loss.”

Mr Ibu’s Sickness: Kanayo O. Kanayo blasts Reno Omokri for Taunting Peter

Kanayo O. Kanayo , Veteran Nollywood actor has blastes former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, for taunting the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, over the ailment of Mr. Ibu.

Mr Ibu recently cried out for prayers following his battle with an unnamed illness, which may lead to the amputation of his legs.

Reacting to the news of the comic actor making the rounds online, Reno Omokri, in a post via X, pointed out that Mr Ibu was a staunch supporter of Peter Obi and the LP flagbearer should support the medical bill of the thespian.

He wrote: “I sympathise with John Ikechukwu Okafor, AKA Mr. Ibu, over his ailment, and I urge all #RenosNuggeteers to donate to the account number he put out.

“Please do not ignore his cries for help. I also urge members of the public to donate. However, this is a man who publicly endorsed Peter Obi. He and his daughter danced for Peter Obi and broke the Internet.

“They went out on the streets campaigning for Obi. The same Peter Obi who boasted that he is richer than President Biden of the US, who at the time of Peter’s boast was worth $8.2 million.

“After all that John Okafor did for him, perhaps Mr. Peter Obi can support him by paying Mr. Ibu’s medical bills. I am even surprised that Peter Obi did not remember to post about Mr. Ibu on his birthday yesterday. Even at that, Peter Obi should help him in his time of need.”

Displeased with Reno’s post, Kanayo O. Kanayo, while commenting on an Instagram blog post, described Reno as attention attention-seeking writer, and people should avoid listening to him.

Turn IPOB into a political Party – Reno Omokri

Nigerian author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has advised the  Igbos to convert the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) into a political party.

The socio-political activist said Nigerians would vote for IPOB if it were converted into a political party.

His Tweet reads: “Play your cards right, and Nnamdi Kanu will be freed. Renounce violence, like the Irish Republican Army did, and convert IPOB into a political party, the way the IRA became Sinn Féin, and democratically seize control of the Southeast, then turn it into a paradise, and other Nigerians will even vote for IPOB party Senators, Governors, and President. Who no like better thing?

“There is more evidence of love for Ndi’Igbo than any signs of hatred. Yet, you are allowing people who are shooting, beating and molesting you, as they enforce a sit-at-home order, to convince you that other Nigerians, who buy from you, employ you, are employed by you, and rent properties to you, hate you.”

Omokri cautioned Igbos against listening to Radio Biafra, stressing that it is a propaganda vehicle.

TheNewsGuru.com reports that IPOB has been clamouring for the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu who has been detained by the Federal Government for agitating for the republic of Biafra.

  • Falz’s knee surgery at 33 has changed my perception about Tinubu’s health issues – Omokri

Falz’s knee surgery at 33 has changed my perception about Tinubu’s health issues – Omokri

A former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan who governed the country under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Reno Omokri, has said that  the recent knee surgery undergone by rapper, Falz gave him a cause to rethink the president-elect, Bola Tinubu’s mobility issues.

Omokri is now having a rethink about following his mockery of president-elect, Tinubu over his health issues, saying that if Falz can have mobility issues at 33, it shouldn’t have been seen as strange for it to happen to Bola Tinubu at 71.

Omokri made this known via his verified Twitter handle on Saturday night.

Omokri wrote, “Last year, many Nigerians mocked Tinubu for his mobility issues. But seeing a young artiste like Falz undergo surgery on his knees makes me rethink Tinubu’s mobility issues. I hope the Presidential Election Petition Court overturns his election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for two reasons. First, his electoral ‘victory’ went against the Electoral Act because almost 14,000 polling units had manual accreditation, which is against section 47(3). Second is that his history as a cartel leader is an embarrassment to Nigeria. Having said that, maybe it was wrong to have mocked him over his health issues, of which he has gotten his mobility back. If it can happen to Folarin Falana at 33, it should not have been seen as strange for it to happen to Bola Tinubu at 71. And it can happen to anybody at any time. May God forgive all of us who erroneously made an issue of that, and may He grant Folarin good health to continue his work of advancing Nigeria through music and political activism. In Yeshua’s Name, I pray.”

Reno Omokri knocks Obidient Movement, says they are irrational

Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s  social media influencer Reno Omokri has described the Obidient Movement has an irrational group.

Omokri made this known via his official Twitter account on Sunday.

Omokri, a known supporter of Atiku Abubakar, the People Democratic Party presidential candidate in the 25 February election, explained that although Obidient Movement is powerful, it is not rational.

“If Nigeria must survive and thrive, we need national movements. The Obidient Movement is a powerful force. But it is not a national movement. It is not even rational. That is why when you disagree with an Obidient, insults are to be expected”, he posted.

‘Obidient Movement’ is a group of supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

The Movement has aided the popularity of the Labour Party and its electoral successes in the last election, especially in defeating the winner of the presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his state.

Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging Tinubu’s victory at the Presidential Election Tribunal.

  • Real reason why UK Government dissolved Next International

Real reason why UK Government dissolved Next International

The dissolution of Next International, a company affiliated with the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi, has caused a stir on social media after a report alleged the company was struck off from the official register at Companies House, the UK equivalent of Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission, for failing to submit its annual accounts.

A report published by PremiumTimes on Wednesday stated that Next International (UK) Limited failed to submit its annual accounts for the year 2020, hence, the company was struck off and dissolved on 7 September 2021.

“In the UK, a compulsory strike-off is imposed on a company by creditors or by the Companies House for non-submission of annual accounts or failure to notify Companies House about a change of official registered office address,” the report said.

Reacting to the report, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, berated Obi for joining the Presidential contest when he had been unable to prove his competence in successfully managing his own business.

Omokri said: “If Peter Obi can’t manage his own business, how can he manage Nigeria? Or is he planning to have Nigeria dissolved the way the UK was forced to dissolve his ill-managed business? See who wants to move Nigeria from consumption to production!”

However, checks by TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) revealed that a compulsory strike-off can be issued on the grounds that the company in question is no longer trading or has failed to conform to legal requirements.

This means that a compulsory strike-off can be voluntarily requested if directors decide they no longer have a use for the company and want to close the business down and move to another venture or if the directors of the company have reached retirement and have no one to pass the company down to.

In this case, the directors of the company seeking to cease trading will make the application and simply allow the process run. As long as there are no debts or liabilities outstanding, the company will formally close and be removed from the official register.

Head of the Obi-Datti Media Office Diran Onifade, has described as false reports that Next International, established as the buying office of Next Nigeria International Limited in 1996, was dissolved due to the failure of its directors to submit the company’s annual accounts for the year 2020.

For the record, …at the time Peter Obi became governor of Anambra State in 2006, his wife assumed management of the winding down of the company and about one year ago requested that the company be dissolved under the voluntary strike off of the entity on grounds of dissolution and being inoperative, which is normal in winding up an entity.

“Peter Obi has consistently maintained that he is no longer involved in any Next-related business. When our Principal insists that you go and verify facts about him and the information he dishes out, it didn’t say go and falsify facts.

“The LP candidate by his antecedents in Anambra State for eight years, in private ventures where he held sway, his records, among the pack in this race for the Presidency, puts him miles ahead in moral rating,” Onifade said in a statement.

Obi resigned as the director of Next International on 16 May 2008, 14 months after assuming duties as Governor of Anambra State.

‘Lori Iro man’- Omokri mocks Peter Obi after UK govt dissolves company, Next

Former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has made a mockery of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi after the United Kingdom dissolved his company, Next International (UK) Limited for not submitting its annual accounts to the appropriate quarters.

Findings show that the company was removed from the record in September 2021 following a first and second gazette notice of a “compulsory” strike off of the entity.

Reacting to the action by the Uk govt, Omokri took to his Twitter handle to question the LP flagbearer, saying If Obi can’t manage his own business, how can he manage Nigeria,

He wrote: “If Peter Obi can’t manage his own business, how can he manage Nigeria? Or is he planning to have Nigeria dissolved the way the UK was forced to dissolve his ill managed business? See who wants to move Nigeria from consumption to production! Dey play! Lori iro man!”
