Show more respect to Buhari, Jonathan warns ex-aide, Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide and staunch critics of the APC led administration, Reno Omokri, has revealed that ex-president Goodluck Jonathan called him and appealed to him to show more respect and kindness to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that Jonathan and the People’s Democratic Party lost to the All progressives congress and President Buhari in 2015, in an historic presidential election which saw an incumbent president defeated for the first time in the history of democratic rule in post-colonial Nigeria.

It was also reported that Jonathan congratulated Buhari while the announced result was 14,932,385 to the 12,638,310 votes scored by Jonathan with only Borno state result waiting to be announced.

Reno Omokri who served as the official spokesman to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has now described him as the most humble man he has ever encountered.

In a statement he issued, Omokri stated: “I just don’t know how God created Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. I have never met a man, whether Pastor, Imam or Pope, with as much humility as former President Jonathan. He called me and appealed to me to show more respect and kindness to President Buhari. Would Buhari do that to him or Obj or IBB?”

2019: Davido meets Atiku

Nigerian pop-star, Davido alongside his girlfriend, Chioma recently met with former vice president Atiku Abubakar who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
An excited Davido took to his Instagram page to share the news.

Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, recently advised Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to appoint popular singer, David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido as member of its presidential campaign council.
Omokri gave the commendation in a post on his Twitter page, noting that the decision will secure victory for the party in 2019 presidential election.

According to him, Davido would be the best for the position irrespective of who gets the presidential ticket.
His meeting with Atiku may not be unconnected with Reno Omokri’s suggestion. We won’t be surprised If Davido finally becomes a member of Atiku Abubakar’s campaign team.

Preaching against corruption: Omokri, Sani lampoon Ag President Osinbajo

Reno Omokri, former social media aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani have lampooned Acting President Yemi Osinbajo for berating gospel preachers not preaching against corruption.

TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports the duo were reacting to Osinbajo’s utterances on Saturday in Enugu State, during the 30th National Biennial Conference of the Students Christian Movement (SCM) of Nigeria, during which he berated gospel preachers for failing to lend support to the Federal Government’s anti-corruption war by failing to preach against the scourge.

“Very rarely do you hear our preachers talk about corruption from their pulpits. If a nation is not righteous nothing will help it. Our problem in this country is not ethnicity or religion; it is not about Christians or Muslims. Our problems are the same wherever you go in this country.

“The story of our country is about good and evil. It is about those that have left us in this condition by stealing our common resources. Do not let anyone deceive you. You should understand that our country can be delivered by people like you.

“All of the great nations of the world were transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is not a gospel that tickles people’s imaginations or dwells on prosperity. It is not a gospel that fits your fancy. It is a gospel that teaches that righteousness exalts a nation,” Osinbajo had said.

Responding on Sunday, Omokri wondered why Osinbajo who himself is a pastor has refused to speak against evident corruption in the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

“Prof. Osinbajo complained that Nigerian pastors don’t support Buhari administration’s anti-corruption war and berated them for not preaching against corruption. This is coming from a pastor VP who himself does not talk about Leah Sharibu.

“Pastors condemned Babachir, Buhari let him go free; pastors condemned Maina, Buhari gave him double promotion; pastors spoke about Kemi, Buhari retained her; pastors condemned NNPC $25 billion scam, Buhari did nothing; who is the hypocrite between Osinbajo and pastors?” Omokri queried.

In his reaction, Senator Sani said, “We are not in short of Preachers against corruption; we are not in short of preachings against corruption; we are in short of compliance with the sermons”.

NBS Boss gets dirty with Reno Omokri over new NBS job report

If the Statistician General of the Federation and CEO of the Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Dr. Yemi Kale and Reno Omokri met in real life over discourse on a supposedly new NBS job report, they could have actually thrown physical punches.

TheNewsGuru reports, however, the punches are being thrown on Twitter after Reno Omokri made a tweet alleging the NBS just released another jobs report showing that in the last 21 months, an additional 7.9 million Nigerians became unemployed under Buhari, stressing that this was the first government since 1999 that has never reported job gains, only job losses.

“This is fake news. NBS never released any such report. NBS last report was on unemployment for Q3 2017 with the update up to Q2 2018 in progress. Let’s kindly keep NBS away from politics or fake news. We do not support politicization of data, neither do we respect people that do so,” Yemi responded.

And as u can see or I hope u can see it It was published in December 2017 and covers up to q3 2017. NOT a new report in July 2018 about job loses in the last 21 months and not even about job losses either.

Tithe again! Reno Omokri dishes final blow to tithe payment

Reno Omokri is in the news again, and this time, it is about the payment of tithe, he said is out of place in Christendom.

TheNewsGuru reports Omokri is joining the long list of those who have argued against the practice of tithe payment in Christianity.

“If you don’t pay tithes, things wont be tight for you and you wont die. As a matter of fact, tithes have no place in Christianity,” he took to his Twitter handle to say on Sunday.

In a not too recent development, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Assistant General Overseer, Pastor Johnson Funso Odesola in his sermon took a swipe at Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, who is one antagonist of tithe payment.

TheNewsGuru reports Daddy Freeze, an on-air radio personality, has been so much entrenched in the tithe debate that has shaken the very foundation of tithes payments by Christians in recent times.

Daddy Freeze had questioned the sanity of RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye after the revered man of God, in a video that went viral, was captured warning Christians defaulting payment of their tithes will not make heaven.

According to Reno Omokri, “Abraham paid tithe of military plunder to Melchizedek, not earnings. If you don’t pay tithes, things wont be tight for you and you wont die. @JeffBezos became the world’s richest man through ideas not tithes. As a matter of fact, tithes have no place in Christianity”.

“What is in your heart is what will be in your mouth. If money is in your heart, tithe is what will constantly be in your mouth and your sermons. If God and His Son Jesus are in your hearts then salvation will be in your mouth and your sermons. Out of the abundance of the heart,” he further stated.

Same liar: Be wary of people like @RenoOmokri, @Omojuwa warns Nigerians

Alpha Reach’s Chief Strategist and political commentator, Japheth Joshua Omojuwa, popularly known only as Omojuwa, has warned Nigerians to beware of people like former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokri.

Omojuwa, in reaction to comments made by the former presidential aide, following the emergence of Miracle as the winner of Big Brother Nigeria reality TV show, said people like Omokri are the number one problem with Nigeria.

Omokri, who has been known to be a huge critic of the reality TV show, tweeted, “The same way a MIRACLE won BBNaija in 2018, is the same way #LazyNigerianYourhs will MIRACULOUSLY defeat @MBuhari in 2019.

Before the grand finale of the Big Brother Nigeria show on Sunday, Omokri’s opinion about the reality TV show has been totally different.

No financial qualification to enter Heaven – Reno Omokri

Reactions have continued to trail Pastor E. A. Adeboye comments that Christians defaulting payment of their tithes will not make heaven, as Reno Omokri has said there is no financial qualification required for Christians to make Heaven.

TheNewsGuru reports the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), in a video, quoting Matthew 23:23, said the Bible stressed payment of tithe and not otherwise, before going ahead to say Christians who default tithes payment will not make Heaven.

“No pastor can set a financial qualification to entering Heaven,” the former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan stated, while adding: “Paying tithes has nothing to do with entering heaven. Such pastors should read 1Timothy 6:5-6”.

Popular on-air personality, Daddy Freeze, who shared the video on his Instagram handle, had stated his disappointment in the man of God and queried if the man of God was in his right senses.

“Let me show him the Bible today and teach him that tithing is what ensures people of hell! Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself, yet they disobey Jesus by building schools their neighbours can’t attend, often with their neighbours’ contribution. How can you disobey Jesus and tell me to obey Malachi?

“Mark 12:31 NIV the second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these. Tithing is the law and teachers of the law are going to Hell according to the Bible,” Daddy Freeze surmised.

According to Reno Omokri, “The only qualification Jesus gave for entry to heaven is that you should be born again then born of water and the Spirit”.

He will fail: Femi Fani-Kayode reacts to Buhari’s reelection bid

Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said President Muhammadu Buhari will fail in his bid to contest the 2019 presidential elections.

“He will fail,” were the exact words the former aviation minister used in reaction to news reporting Buhari officially announcing intention to run in the 2019 general elections.

MUST SEE: Reno releases teaser list of looters in APC

Following federal government Sunday’s list of alleged looters in the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), spokesperson to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has come out with a list of alleged looters in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In Reno’s statement publishing the names of the alleged looters, the former presidential aide, launched a blistering attack on the Nigerian government and the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, over two lists of alleged looters released by the administration.

A few days ago, the fallacious minister of information, the rightly named Lai Mohammed, whose first name rhymes with his life’s calling, released a so called ‘looters list’ with six names of alleged looters.

After he was ridiculed by civil society, the opposition and the international community, Mr. Lai Mohammed hurriedly put out a statement tagging his list a ‘teaser’.

When that lie refused to fly, the notorious fibber, Lai Mohammed, released yet another list yesterday, April 1, 2018.

Coincidentally, April 1 is April Fools day and it was befitting that Lai released his list on that day because only a fool will believe the list he put together.

His list did not contain even one member of the All Progressive Congress. If the list proves anything, it is that President Buhari, Lai Mohammed and their All Progressive Congress are not fighting corruption. Instead they are fighting corruption.

I have taken the pains to produce a ‘teaser’ looters list of APC members who are collectively alleged to have looted over $2 billion (when you convert the dollar value of what they allegedly looted at the time they allegedly looted it).

I challenge President Buhari and Lai Mohammed to explain why these men did not feature on their list and why they continue to remain in this APC government where they wield immense powers and influence, even over the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that is meant to prosecute them.

I further challenge President Buhari and Lai Mohammed to explain to Nigerians why they failed to reveal to Nigerians that President Buhari himself is a MAJOR beneficiary of the funds that the former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki, received from the treasury for the security of Nigerians.

I assure Nigerians that Sambo Dasuki is not in jail for a crime he committed in 2015. He is rather being persecuted for a ‘crime’ he committed in 1985.

Timipre Sylva: A well known financier and supporter of the APC administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Alleged to have looted ₦19.7 billion. Was facing trial before Justice A. Y. Mohammed of the Federal High Court, Abuja. However, two days after President Buhari was sworn in, the new APC government WITHDREW the charges preferred against Sylva on June 1, 2015 and on October 3, 2018, the EFCC returned to Sylva, 48 houses seized from him during the administration of former president, Goodluck Jonathan in 2013 to him.

Murtala Nyako: Alleged to have looted ₦29 billion. Currently facing trial before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja

Senator Danjuma Goje: Alleged to have looted ₦25 billion. Currently facing trial before the Federal High Court, sitting in Jos, Plateau State.

Senator Abdullahi Adamu: Alleged to have looted ₦15 billion with the help of 18 co accused. Charged on March 3, 2010. The case continues to linger in court.

Orji Kalu: Alleged to have looted ₦3.2 billion. Currently facing trial before Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.

Kayode Fayemi: Indicted by the Ekiti Judicial Commission of Inquiry headed by former Ekiti State chief judge and the Oluyin of Iyin-Ekiti, Ademola Ajakaiye, of sundry financial malfeasance totaling over ₦2 billion.

Has been sacked after protest by the opposition and civil society. Has still not been charged. Was allowed to be replaced by his own cousin.

By the omission of these names, the Buhari led Federal Government has vindicated Transparency International.

According to Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, Nigeria is more corrupt today under Buhari than at any other time since Transparency International started keeping records!

We have moved 12 places backward from 136 to 148. Yet this administration has the guts to accuse a government under whom Nigeria made her best ever progress on the Corruption Perception Index of corruption? We moved from 144 to 136 in 2014 under President Jonathan because that government fought corruption in court and not through the media.

#BBNaija: Reno Omokri, Freeze reacts over Bambam’s eviction

Following Bambam’s eviction from the BBNaija reality TV show, several Nigerians have taken to their social media handles to express themselves.

Spokesman to former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri noted that Bambam having sex in the toilet with Teddy A was just the devil’s way of deceiving her and promising the whole world to her if only she bows to him.

He wrote on Twitter: ”Even after having sex in the toilet, she got evicted. That is how satan deceives. Makes you think you can get the whole world if you bow to him. But after bowing, there’s no guarantee that the riches will manifest”.

In the same vein, controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze said:” BamBam has a lot of explaining to do to her parents and to her church… Especially since she didn’t win the N45 million. Imagine how far N4.5million tithe would have gone to appease the gods. I feel for her, especially since she has to face this hypocritical world, ALONE #BBNaija”.
