    Popular Nigerian producer Rexxie holds traditional wedding

    Popular music producer, Ezeh Chisom Faith, better known as Rexxie, has tied the knot traditionally with his partner, Innocent Chisom.

    Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Rexxie posted a series of videos and pictures from the traditional wedding.

    The video that surfaced capture the couple dressed in white and red traditional attires, Rexxie donned a white agbada while his partner, Chisom rocked a laced sequence ensemble, complemented by a gele and traditional beads.

    The producer expressed gratitude for the union, captioning the post, “Two families, one love story. The beginning of forever starts with this special moment”.

    In a previous post, Rexxie shared a snippet of the ceremony, showcasing the Igbo traditional wedding rites.

    In March, Rexxie had announced his engagement to Chisom, although, the date of the traditional wedding ceremony was, however, not revealed.

    Fans and colleagues flooded Rexxie’s posts with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s love and future together.

    Nigerian artiste, Davido has unfollowed record producer, Rexxie on Instagram after the music producer shaded him for missing out in Grammy Awards.

    It would be recalled that Rexxie,said he earned nominations for his production credits on Burna Boy’s Grammy-winning album, ‘Twice As Tall’ and Angelique Kidjo and Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated song, ‘Do Yourself’, bragged during a Twitter banter with a Davido fan on Sunday that he got a Grammy nomination before Davido.

    The music producer further slighted Davido, saying that he got Grammy nominations without using sympathy or dancing with kids on uniform like Davido.

    He wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “Before your fav get Grammy I’ve already gotten it. I no use sympathy or dance with kids on uniform or attend the show early with my full squad and family members. Respect!”

    His post did not sit down well with Davido who swiftly unfollowed him on social media.

    This is coming barely three weeks after Rexxie revealed that Davido reached out to him when he was recently detained in Uganda.

    Popular singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has slammed famous music producer, Rexxie, and singer, Wizkid over their new song.

    The disc jockey, Rexxie released a hit track in which he featured the Afrobeats star Wizkid and Portable, who was unimpressed by it, decided to mock them.

    Portable mimicked the lyrics of their song which elicited laughter from his friends who were in the background listening.

    He mocked Rexxie and Wizkid’s song and wondered why they could not just pray instead, since they don’t know how to sing.

    The Zazoo star advised them to pray for music prowess because they are clearly not good enough.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Rexxie, whose real name is Ezeh Chisom Faith is a Nigerian record producer and songwriter. He is popular for creating the Zanku sound and producing Naira Marley’s Soapy, Tesumole and the song KPK with MohBad.

    Rexxie produced songs like Comma and Bebo on the Grammy-winning album Twice As Tall by Burna Boy.

    He has produced Nigerian music for the likes of Zlatan, Davido, and Burna Boy.

    Rexxie released studio album A True Champion on June 28, 2021, which fearured artists like Zlatan Ibile, Davido, Naira Marley, Zinoleesky, Mohbad, Sarkodie and Peruzzi.

    Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is a prominent figure in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene,

    He is regarded as one of the biggest and most influential African artists of all time.[4][5] He began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five (5), a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.

In 2016, Wizkid achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Drake on the hit single “One Dance“, which reached number-one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in 14 additional countries.

    The song broke multiple records, making Wizkid the first Afrobeats artist to appear in the Guinness World Records.

    In March 2017, he signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records; and released his third studio album Sounds from the Other Side, later that year. The album was supported by five singles, including “Come Closer” featuring Drake.

    In 2018, he was featured on the song “Checklist” by Normani and Calvin Harris, which reached number-one on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.

    The following year, he was featured on Beyoncé‘s project The Lion King: The Gift on the single “Brown Skin Girl“, which also reached number-one on the World Digital Song Sales chart, and won him a Grammy Award for Best Music Video.

    In October 2020, he released his fourth album, Made in Lagos, which received commercial success and acclaim reaching number-one on the Billboard World Album Chart.

    The album includes the single “Essence” featuring Tems, which became the first Nigerian song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached the top ten following a remix released by Justin Bieber. Wizkid’s fifth album More Love, Less Ego was released on 11 November 2022
