    The runner-up of Big Brother Naija season 6, Roseline Afije, a.k.a. Liquorose, could not hold back her tears on Saturday as she received 6 million naira and a delivery bike as gifts from her supporters, hours after her birthday.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the reality star cum dancer, on Friday, turned 28.

    A video of the reality TV actress fighting to control her tears as admirers gave her also outreach/support to school pupils with less privilege has surfaced online.

    Nothing is too much for her, the fans can be heard saying in the video. She was humorously warned not to cry on her makeup after seeing the gifts.

    This is not the first the star will be receiving gifts from fans on her birthday. Some fans are of the opinion that she is one of the most unproblematic housemates in the BBNaija show.

    A popular video of the dancer at her party features her twerking furiously.

    Liquorose made a name for herself during her stay in the BBN house thanks to her upbeat dance, which many say is never in rhythm.

    Internet users mocked her over her lackluster twerking abilities in response to the popular video.

    Liquorose, Swanky Jerry, others nominated for E People’s Choice Awards

    Nigerian choreographer and reality TV star, Roseline Afije, aka Liquorose, and celebrity fashion stylist, Swanky Jerry, have been nominated in the “African Social Star” category of the E People’s Choice Awards.

    Other Africans on the nomination list include actress Ama Qamata (South Africa), Angella Summer Namubiru (Uganda), TV personality Shauwn Mkhize ‘Mam’Mkhize’ (South Africa), digital influencer Juddy da Conceição (Angola), actress Khanyi Mbau (South Africa) and digital creator Sphokuhle N (South Africa).

    The organizers noted that an individual could vote up to 25 times daily.

    The video vixen (Liquorose) shared the amazing news via the image-sharing app.

    Liquorose, in her video, noted that she is still in shock and cannot wrap her head around it. She thanked her fans for showing her so much support.

    In her words: “Oh my God, I’m super excited to be nominated for the People’s choice awards in the African Social Star 2022. I’m so grateful to e entertainment for considering me as one of the nominees.”

    Recall that Liquorose had walked out of a talent show after she was mocked over her failed relationship with Emmanuel.

    In June Liquorose revealed that she walked in on her estranged boo, Emmanuel and a masked woman in his hotel room in Dubai.

    According to her, she waiting fifteen minutes to be let into his room.

    Liquorose revealed Emmanuel did not attempt to explain his compromising situation.

    However, Emmanuel shared that contrary to Liquorose’s claim, he was asleep when she began knocking on his hotel room door.

    It took a while to open the door because he did not know how she would have reacted to the situation and he didn’t try to explain.

    The reality TV star, who was one of the judges at the talent show, stood up and left the set of the show after two comedians joked about her failed relationship.

    It is no news that Liquorose and Emmanuel’s split was one of the messiest in the entertainment industry.

    She first began to give hints about a possible split after Emmanuel was conspicuously absent when friends and fans gifted Liquorose several gifts on her 27th birthday.

    Emmanuel finally hit the nail on the head after he was a no-show at Liquorose’s birthday party.

    He also did not give a shout-out to her on his social media pages.
