Rude Boy reignites beef with twin brother, accuses him of ‘theft’

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from the former PSquare group, has accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, of stealing his unreleased song.

The fresh dispute began after Peter via his Instagram page on Thursday night, announced a new track entitled ‘Winning’ saying it would be on all streaming platforms.

Reacting, Paul via his verified Instagram page disclosed that he had written the song, which was supposed to be produced next year.

He added that he was surprised that, his twin brother, Peter Okoye, had released the same song by the same producer.

Paul asserted that he is the rightful owner of the song, stating that he wrote and performed it with the same producer involved.

He questioned the management and his brother about the new song.

He wrote, “Song title: WINNING Written and sang by RUDEBOY. Produced by same producer. NOW HOW COME? NOW AM I SUPPOSE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION? Mr Producer, your case is for another day.

“Just a simple thing: Bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs. I Submitted 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song? word for word. Song that was supposed to be in my album next year, June.”

In another post, the singer noted that the days of manipulation were over and dared his brother and the management to release any of his songs and he would release the original version.

He added, “The days of manipulation are over!! And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version. Oloriburuku!!  Music is not that hard!!”

He urged citizens to make prudent financial decisions and prioritise essential needs while temporarily reevaluating discretionary spending.

“Please stop asking for help, the only help you can give yourself is to adjust your lifestyle,” said Paul Okoye.

“I always tell people, the best help you can give yourself with what’s happening in the country is to adjust your lifestyle. If you’re somebody that goes to a club or bar every weekend and you drink five bottles, reduce it to one bottle and you will be fine.

One of the videos shared captured the intimate moments with her alleged white boyfriend who is based in the US.

In the video, it would be seen how the white alleged lover gave Anita a kiss on her neck while she blew out the candles on her birthday cake.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that Anita, while seeking for divorce, also requested a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s mansions.

Earlier on, in her divorce petition signed by her lawyer, Ojonimi Akpe and Okutepa J.S at an Abuja High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, Anita had earlier claimed that she contributed N10 million as an agreement with her husband that she would be granted space at the mall he had just completed in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. However, she accused Paul Okoye of cheating her out of a deal.

The petition reads in part, “I know as a fact that the petitioner founded a company called TannkCo in 2019. That the petitioner and the respondent agreed to build a mall where TannkCo would have its main offices, and the petitioner contributed N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall.

“That I know as a fact that the respondent, upon completion of the mall, reneged on the agreement and failed to give TannkCo a space in the mall.”

However, Anita decided to withdraw the claims and opted to settle following the alleged inability to prove all of the claims in her petition to the court.
