Ruth Kadiri condemns secrecy in marriages
Talented actress and filmmaker, Ruth Kadiri has condemned the secrecy a lot of couples have in their marriages
The movie star made this known via her Instagram page on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
“Why call him or her your partner if you can’t go through their phones??? Once the shreds of secrecy is allowed then so many things sets in. My thought. Correct me if I’m wrong,” she wrote.
Back in 2020, Kadri advised all young and upcoming actresses to start building solid relationships before they hit fame as it becomes almost impossible after they get to that superstar status.
In an interview, Kadiri debunked claims that she is a lesbian.
“I am not a lesbian, it was just a harmless picture I took with my friends while we were about to set out to a private beach to have some fun. I think the picture was taken during the Valentine season or one of those festive seasons. The ironic thing is that our boyfriends were there when we took the picture. I am not a lesbian and I can never be one.”

Ruth Kadiri pours encomiums on husband on first wedding anniversary
Actress and film producer, Ruth Kadiri has taken to social media to celebrate Ezerika, her husband, on their first wedding anniversary.
Kadiri in an Instagram post on Friday shared a picture of herself and her husband kissing.The described her marriage as “peaceful”.
“Being your wife is so peaceful. I love it here. Happy anniversary to us,” she wrote.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2019 and the union has been blessed with a beautiful daughter
The actress had recounted how she was depressed when she got pregnant for fear of having her career ruined and not being good enough to be a mother.

Voting should be abolished in Nigeria until corruption starts attracting death sentence-Ruth Kadiri
Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has said voting in Nigeria should be put on hold for now until death sentence is meted to politicians and public servants who waste government funds.
The movie star made this known via her Instagram page on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
“We should abolish voting in Nigeria until death sentence laws are given to politicians and public servants who misuse Nigeria’s funds. I said what I said. Correct me if I’m wrong and tell me what your government has done for you,” she wrote.
Speaking further, Kadiri said any incoming governor or president canvassing for votes is probably lying to the voters.
“Based on what I have seen in the past, any incoming governor or president campaigning for your votes and promising you a better Nigeria is a big liar. I repeat they are liars and do not vote for them,” she wrote.
Any political party promising you a better a Nigeria is a liar. They have ruled yet nothing has changed. Be wise. Please be wise.”

Ruth Kadiri slams African men mocking Will Smith
Outspoken actress and filmmaker, Ruth Kadiri has slammed African men who have continued to ridicule American actor, Will Smith for the way he handled his wife, Jada Pinkett’s affair with singer, August Alsina.
TheNewsGuru recalls that a few weeks ago, Alsina had revealed that he had a romantic relationship with Pinkett.
The Nollywood star in a post shared via her Instagram page on Monday, July 13, 2020, said the larger percentage of men who have mocked Smith since the actor and his wife sat down to about their marriage are Africans.
“Have you noticed that its mostly African men who ridiculed Will Smith for forgiving his wife’s situation. To the women who laugh at Will and her situation, you know you wish you had a man who got you like that, but you don’t and shit hurts,” she wrote.
Speaking further, she stressed the importance of forgiveness in a relationship.
“Forgiveness should be both ways. #respect, love, and forgiveness should be reciprocal. If you think otherwise go and lick Tomtom. (Nobodyshouldstressme),” she added.

Ruth Kadiri shares depression experience during pregnancy
Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has recounted her experience in 2019 when she suddenly became pregnant after her wedding, saying she was depressed as she never wanted a baby then.
She, however, said, last year brought her more blessings with the arrival of the baby.
On her Instagram page, Kadiri said after her wedding, she became pregnant and that she was not sure she wanted a baby and was scared.
She wrote: “2019 came with more than a blessing. After my wedding I became pregnant, wasn’t sure I wanted a baby now, was so scared it will affect my career, was so scared I wouldn’t be a good mum. For unknown reasons I became depressed.
“Thanks to @judyaustin1 who made me see how blessed a woman I was, who recounted how God had blessed me over and over again. thank God for my husband who made me know I was loved. Well it happened . A stress free pregnancy, uncle Ben, Rosssnna, and my entire Swedish family,
