    Sabinus makes passionate plea to FG over Benue killings

    Popular comedian and content creator Sabinus has urged the Federal Government and security agencies to intervene in the ongoing violence in parts of Benue State, where suspected herdsmen militia has been linked to numerous killings.

    In a video broadcast with his content crew, Sabinus expressed deep concern over the lives lost and the fear of the attacks spreading to other states.

    He emphasised that every life matters and urged the government to take urgent action to address the situation.

    Sabinus warned that the uncertainty and unpredictability of the attacks make it a threat not just to the people of Benue but potentially to others as well.

    Sabinus pleaded., “Our government and all the relevant security agencies, we are begging you to intervene in the ongoing killings in Benue State,” 

    “Every life matters. Please, take urgent action to salvage the situation. We have been hearing of the killings, but it doesn’t make sense. We don’t know where it will happen next. We can be victims, too. Please, government intervene. Go and help the Benue State people. They need urgent help.”

    Popular Nigerian  skit maker, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as  Sabinus, and his wife, Ciana Chapman, have welcomed their first child together in the month of April.

    The comedian announced the good news to his fans during an Instagram live session on Wednesday night.

    In the now viral video, Sabinus was seen kissing his child, whose gender is unknown, while smiling at the camera.

    It would be recalled  that both Sabinus and Ciana got married at a private ceremony in early 2023.

    Sabinus had during an interactive session with fans last year revealed that his wife, Ciana inspired his career growth.

    He said she advised him to move to Lagos from Port Harcourt and pursue his dreams.

    Nigerian comedian, skit maker  and content creator, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has stated reasons why he doesn’t promote nudity in his skits.

    Sabinus said that his plan has always been to promote content for the entire family.

    The Rivers born comedian made this known at the SMFest in Owerri, the Imo State Capital.

    Sabinus said: “I have been in situations where some people will be like, ‘Sabinus, I want to join your comedy [group], I can do anything.’ I will say no, please let me give you a role to do. I have also had a situation where I was about to shoot and a girl was like, ‘You expect me to tie wrapper?’ I said, “My sister, that is what I love. That is what suits the story.’

    “Sometimes, you need a fine girl, but she mustn’t be showing bumbum and bobbies.”

    Skit maker and producer, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has explained that he has encountered a lot of problems” to him.

    Sabinus made this known while chatting with legendary musician 2Face Idibia recently.

    Both celebrities were seen having a conversation in a now trending video on the internet.

    In the video, the singer asked Sabinus why he likes “problems too much.”

    Responding, Sabinus said that without problems, he wouldn’t be able to make money. He said that is the reason God keeps sending problems his way.

    He, however, clarified that the problems are just online (in his comedy skits) and not in real life.

    Sabinus said: “Boss, you know, say if I no enter problem, money no go come. So, God has been sending problems my way—online o, not offline o [laughs].”

    Nigerian Skit producer and comedian, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, unveiled the person who inspires him in his comedy career.

    Sabinus revealed that his fiancée, Ciana inspired his career breakthrough.

    The comedian made this known while featuring on a question-and-answer session with his fan on his Instagram page.

    A curious fan had asked who inspired him to move from his base in Port Harcourt to Lagos for greener pastures.

    “Who gave you the idea of going to Lagos to hustle and what year,” the fan asked.

    Sabinus responded that his fiancée, Ciana, had given him the idea.

    “My baby boo @ciana_chasman,” he said.

    Sabinus recently revealed his net worth on social media.

    The Skit maker in a question-and-answer session on his Instagram page disclosed that his net worth is estimated to be worth N600 million.

    Nigerian comedian, Emmanuel Ejekwu, aka Sabinus, has apologized to fans for being present at an event which held at Oko, Anambra state, after receiving full payment.

    According to Sabinus, although he was paid fully for the event, he had health issues and was unable to attend. He promised to make it up to them.

    This is coming shortly after the show promoter who organized the event was beaten by angry fans over Sabinus’s absence.

    In his words: “My people I know say una dey vex for me but abeg make una no vex. I was supposed to come to Oko yesterday for a show but my health was so bad.

    “I just avoided the whole thing because I was afraid of breaking down. And I was coming from Lagos. Abeg make una no vex. Before the first week of December, I will try my best to come.

    “I was paid for the event. I won’t lie. It was just my health issues. I will do the refund straight this morning. Abeg make una no vex for me.”

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Sabinus apology came shortly after angry students attacked the show promoter and destroyed some of his properties.

    A viral video seen showed the moment the promoter in charge of the show ranted bitterly about the harsh treatment he received from enraged students of Oko Polytechnic.

    The [promoter explained that he made necessary arrangements with the skitmaker and Sabinus proceeded to film a video confirming his attendance.

    He, however, refused to pick up the promoter’s call on the day of the event and this led to angry students mobbing the individual and destroying some items at the venue of the event.

    Correct Aboki thanks God after surviving ghastly car crash

    Popular skit maker, Correct Aboki, has thanked God for sparing his life after a traffic collision.

    The skit maker took to his Instagram page to share the unfortunate news.

    According to the comedian, the incident occurred at 5 am around Mobile Osapa.

    He shared a video that showed the badly damaged car. The accident had left the front section of his car completely damaged.

    Aboki comedian revealed that he had sustained some external injuries and called on his fans to please pray for him as he’s under medical care.

    Fans and colleagues have taken to his comment section to commiserate with him and wish him speedy recuperation.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that sometime in September, another skit maker, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu, better known as Oga Sabinus, survived a car accident.

    According to the comedian, a car rammed into his new Mercedes Benz in Lagos in the early hours of Sunday.

    Although the car was badly damaged, the comedian escaped unhurt.

    Commenting on the incident, Sabinus wrote on his Instagram page, “Safe and sound, thanks guys for the calls and care.”

    Sabinus said the accident occurred as a result of a drunk driver who crashed into his car from the opposite lane.

    “The only thing I keep saying is people should avoid drinking and driving, do you understand? This is the first time I’m seeing this type of thing, where a car would be driving in his own lane, and another car from another lane would drive and scatter the car.

    “We thank God. But… just imagine you’re moving on your own way and another car from another place from nowhere hits you, next thing I saw was myself inside the airbags.

    “Even the people that hit me, the boy, was confused. See them vomiting. Their car was filled with drinks and alcohol,” the comedian explained.

    He also promised to release a new skit by 2 pm today. “New skit by 2 pm” he posted on Insta Story.

    The comedian on his Instagram live appreciated fans and assured them of the need not to panic.

    “For the people calling, I am receiving messages, I am okay. Don’t be afraid.

    “We thank God for life first. So Sabinus is safe, nothing happened to me. I am okay. Don’t be afraid.

    “Those who die are those with bad hands, those whose hands are not clean. We thank God.” he said.

    Nigerian Skit maker, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu, alias Sabinus, has reacted to netizens bashing following a comedy skit he uploaded barely 48 hours after the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

    Sabinus, in his usual routine, posted his humourous clip on his Instagram page a few hours ago.

    However, while people laughed over the funny video, some netizens tackled him for posting a skit at a time like this.

    One iamakintoladavido wrote: “@mrfunny1_ but boss you for never post skit/comedy for now at least to respect or pay tribute to Davido and his family or doesn’t he deserve that?”

    Reacting to the comment, the content creator wrote: “Ok sir, I will delete it.”

    Sabinus was nominated in the 2021 maiden edition of The Humor Awards Academy alongside fellow comedian Basketmouth. He discovered his comedy talent at a young age and began actively doing comedy skits while he was in university.

    This was in 2015 during a particular School Student Union week. Sabinus decided to pursue his career further by uploading various comedy skits on his social media handles, especially Instagram.

    Soon enough, he started getting noticed by top Instagram influencers who started sharing his skits. His following on the platform grew.

    Sabinus broke into the comedy industry in 2019.

    His popularity has earned some notable recognition. Sabinus is the brand ambassador for a popular betting site: Oddstackr and many others. Some of his role models who have influenced him in his comedy career are Mr Ibu and Charles Inojie.

    Sabinus has also featured in multiple Nollywood movies, the likes of ‘Billionaire’s Bride’ and ‘Man of War’. 

    In May 2022, he sued two Nigerian food companies for allegedly using his image and catchphrases without his permission. Specifically Friesland Food allegedly used the trademarked phrase “something hoodge” to advertise their Peak Milk product; while UAC used an animated image of Mr Funny in ads.

    On the 30th of September 2022, Sabinus held his first london show at the light house event center.

    Fast-rising comedian, Chuwkwuemeka Ejekwu, who is popularly known as Sabinus, video of an alleged private engagement ceremony in Lagos, before crashing his N40m Mercedes Benz GLE SUV, is currently trending online.

    The comedian attempted to secretly perform the engagement rites to his partner after he visited her parents place in Lagos.

     

    He was, however, captured by some residents living in his girlfriend’s parents area, as he tried to go about the activities in a discreet manner, but he was videoed as he was kneeling in front of his in-laws in Era-Ojo area of Lagos State.

     

    He accompanied the post with a video that showed Sabinus entering a house.

     

    When the comedian noticed that he was been recorded, he issued a warning.

     

    Congratulatory messages are already pouring in for him on social media.

    It was gathered that Sabinus was driving on Sunday in Lagos in his newly acquired Mercedes Benz when a drunk driver rammed into his automotive.

     

    Reacting after the incident, Sabinus said, “God is in cost. We’ll get a new automotive”.
