    Samklef threathens to sue Banky W, Wizkid over royalties

    Music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef, has threatened to sue Bankole Wellington, (a.k.a Banky W) and Wizkid following their failure to give him his royalty for his input in the latter’s debut album.

    Samklef asserted that he would claim his royalties for Wizkid’s album.

    He tweeted early Saturday, “Claiming all my 11 years royalties for Wizkid’s Superstar album in a bit. My lawyers will reach out. It’s 50/50.

    “Anybody wey don collect my money better reach out o! Samkef fine were o! Make dem tag Banky o! My money go don plenty o! Before him go use am campaign for election.”

    Wizkid, who was formerly signed to Banky W’s label, EME records, released two albums ‘Superstar’ and ‘Ayo’ under the label.

    In an Instagram live video late Friday, Samklef, who produced Wizkid’s then hit song, Pakurumo, off Superstar album, said Banky W told Wizkid to remove Samklef’s name as a contributor in the song.

    Samklef’s outburst comes shortly after Banky W claimed that Wizkid owed his labels three albums before he left EME.

    Speaking to media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, in the interview, Banky W said, “There’s no need for us to try and tie him down.

    It was a five-album deal in the beginning and he had done two solo albums. He still owed three, but he wanted to leave. I don’t want anyone to stay when they don’t want to.”

    Samklef, in his Instagram live video, however, claimed that the interview was staged, as Banky W and the show host were close friends.

    Nigerian pastors are fraudsters – Samklef declares, reconciles with Daddy Freeze

    Nigerian singer cum music producer, Samklef has ended Daddy Freeze his rift with media personality, Daddy Freeze.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that in 2018, Samklef and Daddy Freeze disagreed over religion.

    Trouble began when Freeze condemned a report about the healing of a mentally challenged man at an RCCG church.

    Samklef, who was dissatisfied with his criticism against men of God, slammed Freeze, telling him that his constant attack on the church was getting boring.

    The exchange heated up, with Freeze telling Samklef his career was dead which led to the singer calling him a “fake ass oyinbo” and his followers “mumu Satan followers”.

    Following the occurrence, they later blocked and unfollowed each other on all their social media platforms.

    However, Samklef took to his Instagram account on Sunday to reach out to Daddy Freeze, stating that he can now see “clearly”.

    He said most religious leaders are “419” and Freeze was right all along.

    “I was blind and ignorant but now I understand and can see clearly.

    “Everything Daddy Freeze has been saying is the truth. 90 percent of the so called Nigerian men of God are fraudsters.

    “It’s your faith that makes you whole so they collect money for miracles that happens through you.

    “Daddy Freeze is the John the baptist of this generation. I can finally see,” he wrote.

    In his response, Freeze acknowledged his acceptance and admitted he should have been patient with Samklef at the time.

    Popular music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, aka Samklef, has taken to social media to apologize to famous singer, Simi, and other women.

    The outspoken music producer wrote: “Hello everybody! My name is Samuel Oguachuba, aka Samklef. I am doing this video because I really want to apologise to the women out there based on my statement last week. I really apologise for what I said; and to Simi, I really apologise to you too.

    “I wish you all the best in life. I am not perfect and I have my emotions too. I am not justifying my actions but I just want to say that I am sorry to everybody for my statement when I said women raised by single women are toxic. I really apologise for that statement and I want you guys to forgive me for my words.”

    TheNewsGuru recalls that last week, Wizkid shared a snippet of himself and Tems on set for the visual for the song, ‘Essence’, a move which soon generated diverse reactions on Twitter.

    While reacting to the post, Samklef tweeted, ““Everybody can’t wait to see Tems yansh. Me self dey wait. Who Dey dey wait with me?”

    His comment elicited heavy backlash on Twitter, especially from Simi who tweeted, “WTF is wrong with you.”

    In a bid to justify himself, the music producer, in a series of now-deleted tweets, slammed Simi as he wrote, “Eye service better face front. U 2 know abi? U wan show yourself.

    “Why didn’t u dm to take it down? But na u only pass abi? Simi. Toxic. @Symplysimi u ingrate. Cause u think say u don blow. I go delete that tweet. But u f up.”

    In the same vein, Samklef mentioned Erica in his tweet, stating that although she had sex on national television, everyone had moved on from the episode.

    In a swift reaction, Erica warned Samklef never to mention her name. The television reality star said, “Excuse me, I don’t know you; so, please keep my name out of your sewage mouth. You just had to insert me in your drama today! I will not be associated with you!”

    Reality Tv star, Erica has slammed Samklef over involving her in his ongoing sexual objectification drama with Tems.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that the music producer had taken to his Twitter account to state that he could not wait to see Tems derrière in her upcoming music video with Wizkid.

    Wizkid on Saturday had shared an excerpt of himself and Tems on set for the visual for the song, Essence. Soon after, Nigerian Twitter users stormed the platform to declare their desire to see Tems’ butt in the new music video.

    Sharing Tems’ photo on Twitter, producer Samklef also tweeted that he would love to see Tems’ behind.

    His comment did not go down well with Simi who simply replied him by tweeting, “WTF is wrong with you.”

    In a bid to defend his action, Samklef in a series of now-deleted tweets, slammed Simi as he wrote, “Eye service better face front. U 2 know abi? U wan show yourself.

    In a rapid ferocious reaction, Erica warned Samklef never to mention her name. The television reality star said, “Excuse me, I don’t know you, so please keep my name out of your sewage mouth. You just had to insert me in your drama today! I will not be associated with you!

    “When you start trending again today, thank Tems, Simi and me, your mummy, woman hater.”

    Nigerian singer, Simi has slammed Samklef over an inciting tweet.

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that on Saturday, Wizkid shared a snippet of himself and Tems on set for the video of their collaboration, ‘Essence’.

    Afterwards, some Twitter users expressed their desire to see Tems’ bum in the video.

    Joining the conversation, Samklef took to his page to also note that he can’t wait to see Tems’ backside.

    “Everybody can’t wait to see Tems yansh. Me sef dey wait. Who dey wait with me,” his now-deleted tweet read.

    However, the music producer’s remark did not go down well with his colleagues as Simi reprimanded him for it.

    She retweeted his post to her Twitter timeline, disapprovingly asking Samklef what was wrong with him.

     

    To shield his tweet, the music producer shared a series of now-deleted tweets and lashed back at Simi. Describing her criticism as “eye service”, Samklef asked why she decided to go public rather than reach out to him personally.

    “I’m doing this video because I need to sincerely apologise first. I posted that caption because Wizkid and Tems were going to do a video,” he said in another video.

    “So people are saying, ‘we can’t wait to see her backside’. Everybody knows I play too much. Simi has my DM. She did not message me but went on Twitter because she wants to see me down.

    “She couldn’t DM me if she felt the tweet was sensitive. One of my friends called me. But she had the guts. Who are you? Because of you, I left the gospel music industry. People don’t know how fake you are.”

    Music producer and blogger, Samklef has said Nigerians will make wrong decisions in 2023, ahead of the next general elections.

    The outspoken entertainer further charged citizens to prove him wrong, calling on prospective voters to uphold what is right.

    “2023 election Nigerians will make the wrong decision. I pray they prove me wrong. Nigerians wake up and uphold what is right,” his tweets read.

    “Nigeria is a nation governed by Fulani minority lunatics with all three branches of government run by them.”

    Months back, Samklef said had said Nigeria wasn’t created to work.

    “We voted for democratic government and if any presidency can’t take criticism, make dem resign.. stop using DSS to threaten people,” the singer had written.

    “We need a young soul to lead us, come 2023. No past soldier or custom. A pure soul that will listen and lead.

    “We need somebody that can run Nigeria as a business. Who do you think will be the best candidate for 2023?

    “I have ideas that can generate billions for Nigeria the government needs to give its citizens 1st 24hours light and good fast internet 1st. And I will share my ideas! I no get big head for nothing.”

    Fasting won’t solve Nigeria’s problems- Samklef tells Adeboye

    Outspoken music producer, Samklef has reacted to the declaration of 30-days fasting and prayer by Pastor Adeboye’s for members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God for Nigeria.

    According to Samklef on twitter, no amount of fasting can solve Nigeria’s problem.

    Adeboye, the General Overseer, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), directed all members of the church to commence a 30-day fast and prayer for Nigeria.

    The RCCG Assistant General Overseer, Admin and Personnel, Johnson Odesola, announced this in a statement on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

    According to Adeboye, the programme tagged, “Fasting and Prayer for Nigeria’’ would start from Nov. 1.

    “Marathon fasting will hold between Nov. 1 and Nov. 14 for those who prefer that and prayer guide shall be forwarded soon.

    “Where possible, brethren should be encouraged to come together for prayers while ensuring that all COVID-19 government regulations and safety precautions are put in place,’’ he said.

    In his reaction, Samklef wrote: “I believe in God and one thing I know for sure is that God is not that wicked. Nigerians have been praying for 60 years. We don’t need fasting we need to change our mentality stop worshiping money, pastors, imam and politicians simple… Just so u all know fasting cannot solve Nigeria problem pls go and eat. Don’t allow all this religious men to be deceiving u. Fast ko slow ni…Is Osibanjo not a redeemed pastor? Make him fast for 100 days and 100 night. Dry.”

    Music producer, Samklef has urged Nigerians to nominate a 2023 presidential candidate and ensure they support him/her the same way they do for Big Brother housemates.

    The award winning music producer in a post via his Twitter handle, revealed that the only way to vote for a better President is by nominating someone and supporting him fully even if he is an independent candidate.

    He said the same vigor used in voting for Big Brother housemates should also be used in voting for the candidate during the presidential race in 2023.

    According to him, a GoFundMe should also be set up for the candidate to assist his presidential bid if he is incapable to do so.

    “I hope say next presidential election, we go nominate one person to support fully even if na independent candidate.

     

    “We go run am like we did for Laycon and others, and even set up a GoFundMe account to assist his presidential bid.

    “Since our politicians don fail us, let’s nominate and sponsor our candidate by ourselves and run the campaign like we did for the big brother contestants,” he said (sic).

    Nigerian music producer, Samklef has blamed Terry Waya, the billionaire father to evicted BBNaija housemate, Kiddwaya for his eviction from the reality show.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Kiddwaya was evicted on Sunday night alongside Prince after getting poor votes from viewers.

    Samklef in a video on his Instagram page said Kiddwaya’s father, Terry is to blame for his son’s eviction because he boasted of his wealth and showed himself.

    According to Samklef, Nigerians do not like to see a rich man’s son in such position with other housemates from less privileged backgrounds.

    Samklef said:”Kiddwaya’s fathers spoilt his game because he was not supposed to show himself that he’s a billionaire.

    “Nigerians do not like to see a rich man’s child competing for something where poor people are.

    “Kiddwaya did well but Nigerians don’t want to hear that your father is a billionaire.”
