You be antichrist my guy.. when you beat piking you go still call am back and show am love.. I forgive u. Go and sin no more!”

In the same vein, Daddy Freeze has been bashed online for once dinning with Hushpuppi.

A video on Thursday went viral on social media showing Daddy Freeze sometime in 2019 dining with Hushpuppi and his gang who are currently being charged for allegedly defrauding over 1.9 million victims to the tune of $435.6 million.

In the video, Daddy Freeze could be heard laughing and mocking legit income earners after Hushpuppi said his driver collects N700,000 monthly salary.

“Hushpuppi’s driver collects 700,000 in a month, yet people abusing him on social media are working as houseboys with a pay of N35,000,” Freeze said.

His comment has since stirred reactions from Nigerians especially since the vocal OAP known for criticizing pastors for their wealthy lifestyle has maintained silence over Hushpuppi’s arrest.

  • US artistes only interested in us for retweets-Samklef

Ace music producer, Samklef has averred that American artistes pretend to care about Africans for retweets.
In a video shared on his Twitter page, the music producer said it is disastrous that many Africans have continued to fall for the various stunts used by American artistes just to gain attention.
Samklef claimed majority of the actions of such artistes were inspired to get comments and retweets on social media.
The singer also wondered why several of such artistes have continually claimed to love Africa over the years, yet failed to invest in grooming potentials and talents originating from the continent.
“All these American artistes. How will they keep saying help Africa, help Africa, and yet they don’t have investment in the continent? Did any of them own a record label in Africa where they’ve paid for rent for and built? No,” he queried.
“But yet they keep using our names, that they did this for Afrobeats. They’ll be dancing to Fela’s songs because they know we will go to their timelines to comment.”

The ‘Molowo’ singer enjoin Africans, particularly Nigerians, to disperse their support for their own artistes.
“It’s high time we start supporting our own. Jamaicans support their own, Nigerians support your own. All these American wash (stunts), you people should not be swayed by them anymore,” he added.
“I have seen and experienced it myself. So anytime a big American artiste talks about Burna Boy, Davido or Wizkid. They are just looking for retweets, they know you will rush to their pages. It’s time we wise up.”
  • Nigerian artiste in US begs for help over ‘slavery’ deal with Akon

Another artiste has cried out for help while Nigerians were still dealing with reviving the musical career of Cynthia Morgan who blamed Jude Okoye for her misfortune.

And unexpectedly the artiste happens to be Samklef, who is a singer but well known as a music producer.

Samklef, however, took to Twitter to share the devastating situation he found himself after signing for a popular American singer and songwriter, Akon.

Samklef described the treatment given to him by Akon under Konvict Music as “Slavery deal”.

He said that the situation nearly made him take his own life as it wasn’t a pleasant one.

Nigerian filmmaker HG2 Filmworks, however, jumped to Samklef’s defense.

He asked Akon to respond to the allegations leveled against him by his countryman.

He warned him to settle issues amicably or will forever hold him responsible, should anything bad happen to the singer.

50 cent saga: How Charley Boy betrayed me- Eedris Abdulkareem

On December 4th, 2004, reigning Nigerian rapper at that time, Eedris Abdulkareem got tired of the way Nigerian artistes were being treated whenever their international counterparts were being invited to the country.

Abdulkareem decided to do something about it.

After performing in 2 out of 4 shows, 50 Cent and his crew were headed to Port Harcourt aboard an ADC flight. On the flight Eedris Abdulkareem tried to sit on a seat reserved for 50 Cent. The Nigerian rapper was stopped by 50 Cent’s bodyguards. Eedris was not having any of that and this led to a brawl in the plane.

As a result of the commotion, 50 Cent decided not to perform at the remaining two shows and left Nigeria. Even though this incident was one of the many reasons that led to the waning of Eedris’ career, it was also a spur for Nigerian artistes being treated better.

In a recent Instagram live chat with Samklef, he narrated what actually transpired, stating that Charley Boy betrayed him.

“Charley Boy went to meet Nigerian Breweries, he told them that ‘Una know say una don dey mess up tey tey’. Charly Boy collected money from Nigerian Breweries to blacklist me with the media. The next day they said Eedris Abdulkareem slapped 50 cent.

“Don’t blame the Nigerian media, they are hungry people. People were begging Nigerian Breweries to be on that show for N50,000, for N200,000. I am the first artiste that started charging N3m per show. I stood my ground because everything wasn’t about the money. It was about the future of Africa and the future of Nigerian music. When we met years later, 50cent told one of his guys that if he was in my shoes, he would have done the same thing. I don’t listen to any stupid Nigerian youth”, he said.

In 2007, Eedris Abdulkareem apologized to 50 Cent on stage at the KORA Awards in Abuja.

“Our fine police woman @opetodolapo, please charity begins at home. Your police barracks look like a dumping ground,” he wrote, in a mixture of pidgin and English.
“How do you expect people living under such harsh conditions to secure our lives and properties? Their mental state of mind is fucked up. We won’t eat beauty. Your bosses at the top are corrupt.

I can easily sit down and pretend that nothing is wrong and just make money, smile, cheers blah blah, but the thing is, I care too much, if I didn’t give a sh*t, I wouldn’t say anything. I’ve had friends that have done Yahoo. I’ve had friends that have thought about it,” she said.
