Men are naturally wired to cheat – Samklef

Veteran Nigerian singer and producer, Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as  Samklef, has explained that men were naturally wired to cheat on their partners.

Samklef made this known while speaking with ace -media personality Daddy Freeze on Sunday morning.

According to him, Nigerians are too emotional when it comes to the topic of cheating, stressing that it’s normal for men to cheat, including clerics.

The ‘Molowo Noni’ crooner made reference to great biblical polygamous men such as Abraham, David and Solomon.

Samklef said, “Nigerians are too emotional. We react with emotions. We dey do bad things, but we dey cover am.

“Nigerians should stop idolizing some people’s lives. Let people be. Pastors, Imams… Who doesn’t cheat? Na God create us to cheat.”

Banky W settles music royalty rift with Samklef

The royalty rift between music producer, Samuel Oguachuba (popularly known as Samklef) and Banky W, over Wizkid’s debut album of 11 years ago has been settled following an assurance that the former would receive his entitlement.

Samklef revealed that Banky W assured him on Saturday that he will be receiving his royalties for Wizkid’s debut album.

This came hours after the producer called out Banky W for ripping him off his royalties for his contribution to Wizkid’s debut album.

Noting that he’d receive “performance royalty” and “mechanical royalty” from Banky W, Samklef stated that the EME record label boss messaged him with a promise that he will get all his entitlements.

Giving an update on the issue via Instagram, Samklef wrote in Pidgin, “Banky don message me and he assure me say nobody don claim my money. Road to collecting my royalties. Mechanical royalty, performance royalty.

“It’s strictly business now. Zero emotions. And for those of u crying on my timeline. E Pele o! Lol.”

Prior to the update, he had threatened to involve his lawyers in the case, while also claiming that Banky W, whose real name is Bankole Wellington, told Wizkid to remove his (Samklef) name as a contributor from a song he produced.

His early Saturday Tweet read: “Claiming all my 11 years royalties for Wizkid’s Superstar album in a bit. My Lawyers will reach out. It’s 50/50.

“Anybody wey don collect my money better reach out o! Samkef fine were o! Make dem tag Banky o! My money go don plenty o! Before him go use am campaign for election.”

Samklef threathens to sue Banky W, Wizkid over royalties

Music producer, Samuel Oguachuba, popularly known as Samklef, has threatened to sue Bankole Wellington, (a.k.a Banky W) and Wizkid following their failure to give him his royalty for his input in the latter’s debut album.

Samklef asserted that he would claim his royalties for Wizkid’s album.

He tweeted early Saturday, “Claiming all my 11 years royalties for Wizkid’s Superstar album in a bit. My lawyers will reach out. It’s 50/50.

“Anybody wey don collect my money better reach out o! Samkef fine were o! Make dem tag Banky o! My money go don plenty o! Before him go use am campaign for election.”

Wizkid, who was formerly signed to Banky W’s label, EME records, released two albums ‘Superstar’ and ‘Ayo’ under the label.

In an Instagram live video late Friday, Samklef, who produced Wizkid’s then hit song, Pakurumo, off Superstar album, said Banky W told Wizkid to remove Samklef’s name as a contributor in the song.

Samklef’s outburst comes shortly after Banky W claimed that Wizkid owed his labels three albums before he left EME.

Speaking to media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, in the interview, Banky W said, “There’s no need for us to try and tie him down.

It was a five-album deal in the beginning and he had done two solo albums. He still owed three, but he wanted to leave. I don’t want anyone to stay when they don’t want to.”

Samklef, in his Instagram live video, however, claimed that the interview was staged, as Banky W and the show host were close friends.
