    Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho will be given a bumper package should he agree to join a Saudi Arabia clubside ahead of next season.

    Recall that Iheanacho recently left Leicester City following the expiration of his contract.

    Speculations are rife that the 27-year-old is reportedly in talks with unnamed Saudi clubs.

    The former Manchester City player has also attracted interest from clubs in England and Turkey.

    Aston Villa, Everton and Besiktas have made in contact with Iheanacho’s manager.

    A move to Saudi Arabia would see him earn a big pay.

    Iheanacho scored six times for Leicester City last season.

    Leicester City has now gained promotion to the English Premier League.

    EPL: Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne anticipates Saudi move ahead next season

    Manchester City star,  Kevin De Bruyne has noted that he’s open o leaving the Premier League champions amid interest from Saudi Arabia.

    The 33-year-old footballer has been a big target for mega-rich Saudi Pro League clubs.

    Speaking about the development, the Belgium international insisted that he has to think about his future, adding that the amount of money Saudi clubs pay is incredible.

    “Saudi? At my age you have to be open to everything,” De Bruyne told HLN.

    “You’re talking about incredible amounts of money in the last stage of my career, you have to think about that”.

    “For my wife, an exotic adventure is okay. I have to think about my future.”

    De Bruyne has heroic perfomances for City in the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League since joining the club in 2015 from Wolfsburg.

    He helped Pep Guardiola’s side win the Premier League last season and will hope to lead Belgium to victory when the Euro 2024 starts this summer.

    Speculations are rife that Super Eagles and Chippa United goalie, Stanley Nwabali’s Saudi Arabia move to, El-Ettifaq has collapsed

    Reports say that the Saudi Pro league clubside, El-Ettifaq pulled out of the deal after failing to reach an agreement with South African club, Chippa United.

    Nwabali is still expected to leave Chippa United this summer despite El-Ettifaq’s failure to strike a deal for the shot-stopper.

    Queens Park Rangers of England and Kaizers Chief of South Africa are also interested  in the 27 year old.

    The shot-stopper has been a wanted man since his five-star displays for the Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

    Nwabali has posted 10 clean sheets in 25 league appearances this season after he only made six appearances last season.

    Premier League club Chelsea are exploring the idea of signing a Saudi Pro League striker this month.

    The Telegraph says Chelsea have Al-Ittihad centre-forward Karim Benzema and Al-Ahli’s Roberto Firmino on their radar. The Blues will seek to sign one of the two to ease the pressure on manager Mauricio Pochettino.

    Pochettino has expressed concern over his lack of attacking options, with Christopher Nkunku continuing to battle with injury.

    Former Liverpool striker Firmino is unsettled at Al Ahli after battling for consistency in the SPL.

    Meanwhile, Benzema’s future with Al-Ittihad is in doubt after struggling to get along with management since his summer arrival from Real Madrid.

    Ashleigh Plumptre, Super Falcons defender  has revealed the reason behind her move to Saudi pro league side, Al-Ittihad Ladies.

    Plumptre made the move to Al-Ittihad on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

    According to her, she made the move in order  to explore other opportunities.

    She said “Football is for me has always been about connecting with not only more of myself but with the people that I’m surrounded by whether that’s my teammates, staff,” Plumptre told the club’s official website.

    “Throughout everything I’ve done in my career so far has always been about representing something bigger than myself.

    “Joining Al-Ittihad I feel as if I’m going to have so many opportunities both on and off the pitch to be able to learn about football here.”

    Plumptre quit Leicester City at the end of last season following the expiration of her contract.

    The Nigerian netted three times in 62 league appearances for Leicester City.

    Nigerian forward, Dennis heads to Saudi Pro League side, Al Tai

    Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis is being tracked by Saudi  Pro League side, Al Tai.

    Dennis who currently plies his trade alongside his Super Eagles counterpart Taiwo Awoniyi at Nottingham Forest is set to seal a three -year deal with AI Tai this week.

    The transfer window in Saudi Arabia will close on Thursday night.

    Dennis, who is surplus to requirements at Forest, was linked with a move to Serie A club Udinese last week.

    The Nigeria international has struggled to secure a regular playing time since linking up with Forest from Watford last summer.

    The 25-year-old has not been included in the matchday squad by the Tricky Trees this season.

    Al Tai are currently occupying the 11th position in the SPL and are bent on securing a top spot .

    However, details of Dennis’ potential deal with Al Tai are still sketchy.

    Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has rejected a lucrative €130m bid from Al-Hilal for Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen,

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that Saudi pro league side Al Hilal tabled a whooping €130m for the prolific striker.

    Recall that Napoli already rejected offers from Paris Saint Germain and are tempting the striker with an improved contract.

    Osimhen, who played a crucial role in Napoli’s triumphant Scudetto-winning campaign last season, has garnered significant interest from various quarters. The Italian club clinched the Serie A title for the first time in over three decades, with Osimhen’s stellar performances in the forefront.

    As per reports from Il Mattino via TMW, Al-Hilal presented their bid to De Laurentiis, putting forth the sum of €130m for the Nigerian international. However, Napoli swiftly declined the proposal, indicating their unwillingness to part ways with the talented striker during this summer transfer window. Instead, Napoli is focusing on securing Osimhen’s future at the club by negotiating a new long-term contract. They value the player at approximately €200m.

    Osimhen’s heroics for Napoli last season saw him finish the season as the league top scorer with 24 goals for the first an African would attain such feat.

    Napoli also broke a 33 -year jinx by clinching the scudetto first time since 1999.

    Many players have since made moves to the Saudi pro league after star forward Cristiano Ronaldo laced his boot for Al Nassr.

    However, Osimhen is yet to put pen to paper for contract extension at the Naples based clubside.

    Saudi Arabian side, Al Hilal have made a mouth-watering offer worth €140m (£120.3m) to Napoli for striker Victor Osimhen, with wages on offer in the region of £1m per week.

    The Saudi Pro League club have already had a bid of €300m (£259m) for Paris St-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe accepted this summer – although the player declined to meet with them – and also tried to sign Lionel Messi before he moved to Inter Miami.

    Osimhen has been a transfer target for many clubsides this summer, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea have all shown interest in the Nigerian attacker.

    Osimhen, aged 24, was a transfer target for Manchester United this summer, with talks over a new contract with Napoli stalling.

    Sky Italy are reporting a meeting between Napoli and Osimhen’s agent failed to find a resolution on an extension to his deal, which runs until the summer of 2025.

    Last month, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis hinted on Osimhen signing a new contract with the club.

    He said: “We have a basic agreement on a two-year extension, but [we are] willing to consider an offer we could not refuse.”

    Cristiano Ronaldo scored four times to move past the 500 career league goal mark as Al Nassr beat Al Wehda 4-0 in the Saudi Pro League.

    The Portugal forward, who turned 38 on Sunday, struck in a 40-minute period either side of the break.

    He has now scored 503 league goals for five different clubs in five different leagues.

    The five-time Ballon d’Or winner joined Al Nassr in December, reportedly on a salary of £177m per year.

    However, he did not enjoy the most prolific of starts with his new employers, managing one goal from the penalty spot in his first three competitive appearances for the club.

    Ronaldo left Manchester United in November, having scored 103 league goals across two spells at the club.

    He scored 311 times in La Liga for Real Madrid, registered 81 goals in Serie A for Juventus and managed three in the Portuguese top flight for his first professional club, Sporting Lisbon.

    Ronaldo’s four goals ensured Al Nassr returned to the top of the table on goal difference and with a game in hand on second-placed Al Shabab.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Ronaldo signed a sensational £175 million contract with Al-Nassr on Friday following a tumultuous exit from United in November.

    A club statement quoted the Portuguese player to have expressed eagerness to experience a new football league in a different country.

    “The vision in which Al-Nassr Club works is very inspiring, and I am excited to join my teammates to help together,” Ronaldo was quoted to have said.

    Meanwhile, Al-Nassr has said signing Ronaldo will not just inspire the club to achieve greater success but inspire the league, the nation and future generations.
