    Popular entertainer, Selena Marie Gomez has revealed that she recently had a kidney transplant. Unknown to many, her best friend, Francia Raisa, was a donor.

     

    Raisa is an actress best known for her role as Adrian Lee on the TV series, ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’.

     

    According to her:”I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of.

     

    “So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health.

     

    “I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you.

     

    “Until then I want to publicly thank my family and an incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery.

     

    “And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me.

     

    “I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made.”

    The findings of the study as reported by Mirror, reveals that the Portuguese superstar is the highest earning male in the world when it comes to what he’s paid per post, with only two other celebrities ahead of him.

    The photo-sharing app is big, big business these days, especially when it comes to promoting products, celebrities, and the products that celebrities are using.

    The study reveals that the Real Madrid star, who has 106 million followers, earns a whooping sum of £308,000 per sponsored post, placing him third in the “Instagram rich list” as the top-earning male in the world, just ahead of reality star Kylie Jenner, who is paid the same as Ronaldo but has more followers.

    The only two celebrities ahead of Ronaldo are pop star and actress, Selena Gomez, who is receiving a staggering sum of £424,000 per post, and reality queen Kim Kardashian, who is on £385,000 per post.

    In fact, the Kardashian-Jenner family makes up half of the top 10, according to the report.
