    At the party, Tiwa was seen with former Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Dorathy Bachor, who shared the video on her Instagram story.

    This comes five days after a sex tape allegedly featuring Tiwa Savage went viral on social media, causing a lot of reactions.

    Two weeks ago, Tiwa Savage had revealed during an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1, that she was being blackmailed by an unknown person who threatened to release a sex tape that featured her and her current lover.

    The Koroba singer revealed that the blackmailer demanded money from her so as not to release the sex tape but she has decided not to pay the money.

    On Monday night, a sex tape leaked online. While the face of the man involved in it did not show, the lady in the video bears a close resemblance with Tiwa Savage.

    Popular blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has waded into the ongoing Tiwa Savage sex tape scandal which has sparked up controversy on social media.

    Olunloyo took to her Instagram page to counsel the singer on how to handle the controversy.

    Sharing a picture of both of them on her Instagram page, Olunloyo wrote, ‘’Tiwa: I have not watched the sex tape. I’m not programmed to PORN. After analyzing with Daddy Freeze, do the necessary. Any fan, friend, ex supporting u is FAKE.’’

    She further outline steps by which the ‘Koroba’ crooner can salvage the situation.

     

    “Educate your son to avoid backlash from classmates, teachers and parents. They are laughing at him.

    Write formal letters to your brand endorsement companies (Mostly family-friendly brands) explaining what has happened (they already know) but as a PR tip(my 2nd degree) it is a necessity as they will NOT renew your contracts. This is the right time for them to DROP you.

    Embattled singer, Tiwa Savage, has shared a cryptic message amid her leaked sex tape saga.

    Since the sex tape went viral on Monday night, the ‘Koroba crooner had been silent on the matter, as she went about sharing videos from her new song on her Instagram page.

    Amazingly, on Thursday night, the singer shared a picture of herself with the caption, “Charge that sh*t to the game and never speak on it again.”

    Though she didn’t particularly specify what or who she was referring to, it is notable that her message is coming days after she trended on social media because of her sex tape went viral.

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that weeks back, Tiwa Savage had revealed during an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1, that she was being blackmailed by an unknown person who threatened to release a sex tape that featured her and her current lover.

    The release of her leaked sex tape has sparked myriad of reactions on social media.

    A popular medical doctor on Twitter, @DrOlufunmilayo, in a thread, opined that the sex tape was leaked on purpose.

    He said, “Let’s not be fooled: That sex tape leaking was no mistake. And no, I’m NOT saying Tiwa (or the woman) leaked it herself. Conveniently, the man’s face is not showing. But the woman’s face shows.

     

    “That man who recorded it knew exactly what he was doing and exactly why he leaked it. I really hope Tiwa doesn’t honestly believe this leak was a ‘mistake’, because it wasn’t. Anyone who knows how Snapchat works will find it extremely hard to believe this ‘mistake’ narrative.

    “You don’t ‘mistakenly’ upload things on Snapchat, except you recorded it there first. And if you recorded the live sex on Snapchat, what exactly is your motivation and drive for that? What’s the motivation actually? If not to possibly leak it ‘mistakenly’ on your Snap, maybe as a form of bragging rights to your friends/followers that you are bedding a celebrity.”

    The medical doctor continued, “I find it hilarious seeing that it is mostly women who should know better and who should learn from this situation are the ones that are desperately telling themselves naively that this is a ‘mistake’.

    “Anyway, every mallam to his kettle. It’s not my job to convince you otherwise. But to everyone, pls kindly be careful in this kind of situation. I know some of you call it “love” but love doesn’t have to be reckless or foolish.”

    An unidentified female fan of singer Tiwa Savage has apologized for watching the singer’s sex tape that went viral on Monday night.

     

    In a viral video, the fan who regretted watching the “Somebody’s son” singer’s leaked sex tape, pleaded for her forgiveness.

    According to the fan, everyone around her can attest to the fact that she loves the Tiwa while expressing deep regret for having to watch the leaked sex clip.

    “I shouldn’t have watched the Tiwa Savage sex tape. I love Tiwa Savage so much and everyone around me, they can testify about that. I’m sorry, Tiwa Savage,” she said with tears flowing down her eyes.

    She added: “Tiwa Savage, I am so sorry. I shouldn’t have watched your sex tape. God knows I am truly sorry.”

    Budding actress, Chioma Ifemeludike, had stated that Tiwa Savage must apologise to her fans concerning the release of her alleged sex tape.

     

    Ifemeludike, however, condemned the act by Tiwa Savage, stating that the vocalist should apologize to her fans.

    In an Instagram post, she said, “Even though I find this supposed ‘sex tape drama’ as a huge distraction, I haven’t seen the video and I have no care in the world what an adult does with her personal life but my people, bad thing na bad thing, especially if it’s coming from a person young people look up to.

    “You may want to defend this disgusting trend by saying ‘she didn’t release it bla bla bla’ but in a normal society, I’d expect the person in question to expose whoever is behind this act, for accountability and persecution.

    “She needs to publicly admit her carelessness and apologise to her fans. We can’t keep saluting immoral behaviours while our young daughters watch.

    “She’s been also accused of intentionally allowing this video to flood the internet space at the same time her latest music video is launched.

    Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has warned social media users to cease from sending him viral sex tape allegedly featuring popular Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage.

    The former senator representing Kaduna Central made this warning on his Facebook page on Tuesday,stating that he could faint from watching the clip.

    “Warning: Nobody should send that Tiwa’s video to me please, so that I don’t faint. The last time someone accidentally sent me a similar clip, I was on admission for one day. I’m fragile,” he wrote.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that in an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1, Tiwa Savage had revealed two weeks ago that she was being blackmailed by someone who threatened to release a sex tape of herself and her current partner.

    The Somebody’s Son crooner also disclosed that while the person demanded money from her, she has decided not succumb to the blackmail by refusing to pay the person.

    “I decided I was not going to pay the person because if I do, two months from now, three months down the line or even two years later, you are going to come back again.

    “Who knows, if I send the money, the person will probably release it. I am not going to let anyone blackmail me for doing something natural,” she said.

    Award winning songstress, Tiwa Savage may lose some premium endorsements as she battles a scandal which has triggered an uproar on social media.

    On Tuesday, the release of a sex tape allegedly involving the singer and her boyfriend stirred myriad of comments on social media.

    Though Tiwa is yet to confirm or deny whether she is the one captured in the video, she had earlier in an interview with American OAP, Angie Martinez of Power 105.1, raised the alarm that she was being blackmailed by an unknown person with a sex tape.

    A source who prefers anonymity revealed that “some of her foreign partners and investors are currently observing the development and may not want to be associated with the singer if a sex tape is released to the public”.

     

    Some fans believe however that the ‘Somebody’s son’ crooner will bounce back despite the released of her alleged sex tape.

    Charity, a fan of the singer recalled how popular singer, Chidinma Ekile recovered when her alleged sex tape was released and noted that Tiwa Savage will bounce back.

    “Because Tiwa Savage’s private activities was exposed in public doesn’t make her different or less human than most of us. She is amazing, she is not an angel, so mistakes like this should be overlooked. Chidinma survived this same scandal and look at her today, the world has moved on.”

     

    With the social media space thrown into a fresh uproar, Tiwa who seemed unbothered shared a video of her performance at a virtual event where she crooned about the lives lost during the #ENDSARS protests.

    Activist, Deji Adeyanju on his Twitter page said there is nothing to stand by Tiwa Savage, adding that she should face the consequences of her actions.

    His tweets read: “There is nothing to stand by Tiwa Savage for. Let people face the consequences of their actions. Stop misleading the younger generation.

    “Next time if you want to record a sex tape, make sure your partner’s face also shows. Stop acting the fool always.

    Karim Benzema absent as sex tape blackmail trial begins

    The trial of Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema for attempted blackmail linked to a sex tape featuring his former France team mate, Mathieu Valbuena started in Versailles on Wednesday.

    Benzema was not present in court, with his lawyers citing his professional obligations.

    He played with Real in the Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk in Kiev the previous night, and faces a Spanish League Clasico against Barcelona on Sunday.

    The 33-year-old Benzema is accused of being complicit in the attempt to blackmail Valbuena, who was threatened in a phone call in June 2015 with the publication of the video.

    Benzema was allegedly involved in “aiding and abetting an extortion attempt.”

    He faces up to five years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros (88,000 dollars), according to prosecutors.

    Four other men said to be involved in the affair are also charged at the trial expected to last until Friday.

    Due to the involvement in the affair, Benzema missed the 2016 European Championship in France, their World Cup win in 2018 and only returned to the national team this summer.

    The player’s defence has rejected the allegations and on Tuesday the L’Equipe sports daily again quoted his lawyers demanding he be cleared.
