  • Seyi Law, Kemi Olunloyo battle one another

    Outspoken Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has reacted to the jabs thrown at him by controversial media personality, Kemi Olunloyo . Trouble began when the versatile comedian shared pictures of his daughter, Tiwalade on social media.Olunloyo made a derogatory comment saying Seyi Law’s daughter is obese.

     

    The battle became more intense when Olunloyo was arrested earlier in the year and Seyi Law said he was glad that the blogger was arrested and locked up.

    After Olunloyo regained her freedom, she resumed bashing Seyi Law’s little baby. She said she would have been glad If Seyi Law was the one mistaken for a member of the Badoo cult and lynched.

    In Seyi Law’s reply, he said:”Ladies and Gentlemen, this marks the end of SEYILAW ever replying nitwits and incoherent psychiatric bound adult children. Let me take you back to your class, I hope with this few points of mine I have been able to convince you and not to confuse you that your stupidity is regrettably a birth defect.

     

    “Oh Madam Kemi, when will you realise you have become an object of ridicule? You try too hard to find LOVE on social media because you are family reject. You wish you could have a lovely face to wake up and go back home to see like Tiwaloluwa, my precious daughter hence your bitterness towards her. O ma se o. Akuku bi omo. Omo taa ba gbe sonu ka toju ibi e ( A child we should have thrown away and keep the placenta). You are such a shame to the name you bear”.

    Seyi Law blasts Kemi Olunloyo over ‘fat daughter’ comment

    Comedian Seyi Law has reacted to Kemi Olunloyo’s claim saying his daughter is fat. Seyi Law pointed out that Kemi didn’t get her facts right before going off to rant on Instagram. Responding to her claims, Seyi Law said the fact that she is a pharmacist doesn’t mean she is right.

    According to him:”Awwww!!! Dr. KEMI OMOLOLU-OLUNLOYO Pharma. D has dished out her medical advice and it is good. Nobody is perfect and sometimes our good advice or idea might come out wrongly, but that doesn’t totally spoil the core of the importance. It is true there is a rise in child obesity, but concluding on a child without prior test and medical findings is professionally wrong.

    “Some of the main factors that leads to Obesity truly include Overfeeding, lack of activities, hormonal imbalances and genetic factors. The measurement of these factors to determine the weight level of a child is done at a more active age. It is also a natural and well known medical fact that children have a level of fat retention to help combat cold in their surroundings and as they grow and become more active, most of the fat is lost to energy burning.

     

    “If a child weighs 8.3lbs with a height of 60cm at almost 5 months, you can tell that such child is not fat, a fact that Aunty Kemi, my friend didn’t check with me. It is also worthy to know that a child that feeds at 4oz (120ml) every 3 or 4 hour without breastfeeding has a healthy eating pattern. The fact that you are a pharmacist doesn’t mean you know better.

    “The truth is I have cause to disagree with people and people with me, but I know Aunty Kemi, my friend will do better to make her findings before sharing. Thanks guys.”

    The social media was awash yesterday with the statement made by a certain Port Harcourt based pastor who placed a curse on the sponsors of Big Brother Naija. According to Pastor Mike Winning of The Dominion Glory Assembly:”I curse with anger anyone busy sponsoring Big Brother Nigeria, If they attempt sponsoring it next year, let their resources dry up”

    However, Outspoken comedian Seyi Law has reacted to the controversial statements made by the pastor. In his words:” What a joke of a Pastor. Did Jesus lay curses on those who turned His Father’s house to a market place of all sorts or He just rebuked them. Some of all these people who call themselves Pastors actually think they are God o. Oga Ade, go and have a rethink abeg and ask God for forgiveness. I am not in support of the immoral acts in Big Brother Naija, but as a Christian when the devil brings darkness, you shine your light. If you don’t like what they protray, change your channel.

     

    “Pastor, please organise your own Big Christ House and give money that will change the followers of Christ’s lives and see if men and your father in heaven won’t praise you.

    Pastor talking like Nigeria Government, why is Big Brother Naija been held in SA when they have refused to create an enabling environment to allow businesses to thrive. You curse kor you close ni. Long Hisssssssssss.

     

    “These types of prayer are for your closet not public, Mr. Pastor. Praying their resources should run dry. Ah ah, Pastor, do you know how many are on the employment list of Payporte and Dufil, the makers of Indomie? You are a wicked man. Pray a better abeg.”

    Celebrities boycott #IstandwithNigeria protest

    The long anticipated #IstandwithNigeria protest held today 6th of February against all odds. Though pop star, 2face pulled out from the protest, the march still held devoid of violence and any form of brutality.

    Recall that celebrities like Davido, Burna Boy, Kate Henshaw, I Go Dye, Olamide,Daddy Showkey and others vowed to be part of the protest,unfortunately they didn’t show up. The entertainment industry was poorly represented.

    However a few entertainers like Seyi Law, Charly Boy, Yomi Fabiyi, Saeon, Baaj Adebule were part of the protest.

    According to Seyi Law:”This protest isn’t about the entertainment industry, its about the people engaging the government and demanding accountability from them.”

    Alibaba’s January 1st concert held at Eko Hotel Convention Centre was a great way to kick off the new year in grand style. During the year in review segment, AY was asked to crack a joke focused on Toke Makinwa’s book, Becoming.

    He had this to say:” Toke Makinwa is one of the very few that has over 1million followers on Instagram without doing anything. But that is a lie, you and I know that Toke Makinwa is intelligent . Toke is beautiful, very beautiful, when she makes up she is very fine”

    Seyi law would have none of AY’s sarcasm and decided to hit the nail on the head. In his words:” Bros this Toke Issue no be something wey person go shout on top na . He get one of my friends wey him talk say him dey find person wey him wan date,I con say toke dey, him say him no wan person wey go write book for hin head.”
