Speaking on why he was part of the protest, the outspoken comedian tells Hip TV that he had to come out because of his conscience.

Hear him:” When entertainers speak up, people come up with different allegations. It makes it sometimes hard to put yourself on the line for the people. I just want to say that no matter what the people do, it’s also a thing of conscience for us to come out and speak. We might not be too affected by the problem but you cannot say because you have money, it doesn’t concern you. The day it concerns you, will be a day of violence, you might not have a place to hide. That was why I decided to speak now, so that people can attest to the fact that he spoke, when it really mattered.”

The award winning comedian made this statement on his Instagram page. He puts it this way: “I have seen you come under serious criticism and read from some people who think your mistakes should be held on you for ever, but I am here to tell you that I am with you.

” You didn’t start the movement, you only lend your support to the voice of the people. You have only proven that at a time such as this, Nigeria and Nigerians deserve to truly be served.

” I can boldly say we are not lazy people, we just don’t enjoy the right environment to excel. Good governance has been the bane of our development and institutions. Together with you, we will rise and match against those that oppress us.

“Today, I stand with you and as long as your stand is for the good of this nation, I will keep standing. Please don’t let us politicise the protest as some fools made us do with the fuel subsidy. God bless you brother.”

  • How Seyi Law spent over 10m to ensure daughter’s safe delivery

Says they almost lost her at eight month

Ebony skinned comedian, Seyi Law is one comedian who constantly showers praises on his wife when ever he deems fit. The award winning comedy act in an emotion laden letter, took to his Instagram page to share the pains his wife had to bear before giving birth to their daughter.

According to him:” I might be silly and puffed, but I will never forget. I will never forget your sorrow, tears and strength. The strongest of women are sometimes the weakest in the hands of men, especially the men they love. The pains and emotions of love are more than enough to throw you off balance. I have decided that no matter how masculine I am, I will let you reign in the right places for the pains you bore for me. The scars that are visible and invisible.

“Do you know people wonder why I flaunt our God’s gift Tiwaloluwa? Maybe, because they are ignorant of our testimonies. I would have loved to share them all, but the space here will be too small. How do I tell people we almost lost her at eight (8) months? The issue that got you stuck to the hospital bed for almost a month with a monitoring machine strapped to your protruding belly.”

“Can I ever forget the number of injections you took without me being able to hold your hands to help you ease the pains and the doctors scary words? Will people ever know the journey that took you to the theatre with Fifteen (15) doctors on you alone, denying your family room to witness the birth of God’s miracle?”

” Don’t let me even mention the hospital bills, because all these Oyinbo no dey gree send their own once. Thank God for his miracle and Mrs. Abosede Holloway (Mummy Yetunde), Olori B of Baltimore. Story for another day. Any child wey dem take over N10million born, no be ordinary pikin na ISSUE in capital letters.”

” Our testimonies are numerous, but our God is one, yes ONE big GOD. If I don’t celebrate you who will? Thank you for everytime, I have forgotten to say it. Thank you for all the times, I will never be there to say it.

You are more than a JEWEL OF INESTIMABLE VALUE rather you are the SPECIAL EFFECT that makes the JEWEL OF INESTIMABLE VALUE.”

I love You NOW and ALWAYS.

    SEYILAW.”

Several reactions have trailed Seyi Law’s revelation. While some regard it as a testimony, some people simply called it showing off on social media.
