    Shade Ladipo apologises to Tiwa Savage over remark on leaked tape scandal

    Shade Ladipo, the controversial media personality has tendered a public apology to Tiwa Savage for calling her out in 2021, over singer’s viral leaked sex tape.

    Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday, Ladipo disclosed in a video posted that she judged the singer and mother of one unfairly at the time.

    The media personality further explained that listening to Tiwa’s latest album, This One is Personal made her connect with her pain.

    In her words: “I was one of the people who blasted Tiwa Savage when that s3x tape came out. I’ll be honest. I blamed her. I was like, you know what? How can you be over 40? Cause we are mates and you’re still messing around with people like this.

    “In hindsight, I wonder why I was blaming her so hard for something that happened to her. I felt her pain. And I just want to say to you, I love you. I’m sorry!”

    Recall that Tiwa Savage before her sextape went viral revealed she is being blackmailed over the tape but said she won’t pay.

    “I am not going to call it a sex tape but it’s a tape between me and the person I am dating right now,” she told radio host Angie Martinez of Power 105.1 in New York.

    She revealed that the incident happened last month and that the person tried extorting money from her but that she was not going to allow anyone to blackmail her “for doing something that is natural”.

    The video of the singer who is one of the world’s biggest Afrobeats stars and is signed to Universal Music Group later went viral but Tiwa stood her ground, insisting she would not be shamed into silence.

    Veteran Nigerian media personality Shade Ladipo has voiced criticism towards Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy.

    She referred to Burna Boy as “fake” and lacking integrity.

    She made the remarks in a teaser for the upcoming episode of the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, which is co-hosted by reality star, Tolanibaj, and actress, Moet Abebe.

    Ladipo stated that she prefers Wizkid and Davido to Burna Boy.

    The veteran broadcaster said, “I would drag Burna Boy to the trenches. He is fake. Burna Boy has no integrity. What the f*ck is money?

    “Integrity is much more important than money. That is why I am a big fan of Wizkid and Davido.”

    Media personality, Shade Ladipo has advised Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tuface and wife Annie on their marriage.

    The controversial media personality urged Tuface to get a vasectomy to avoid having more children saying he’s had enough..

    Ladipo claimed that , there are too many children in the mix, advising it’s time to stop.

    Her post on her Instagram story read: “I love you Annie so now would be a great time to ask 2Face to get a vasectomy.

    Annie had earlier on in a reality show disclosed that sharing Tuface with other women was painful.

    Recall that Annie recently accused Tuface of sleeping with ex-lover and baby Mama Pero Adeniyi upon visit to see his children in America.

    Annie has two children for Tuface but her first child is his fifth, having had four other children from two different women.

    She added that it was painful and very humiliating to note that her own first child is Tuface’s fifth despite being his first love and legal wife.

    Both Annie and Tuface celebrated 10 years of tying the knot and renewed their wedding vows.

    Vasectomy is an elective surgical procedure for male sterilization or permanent contraception. During the procedure, the male vasa differentia are cut and tied or sealed so as to prevent sperm from entering into the urethra and thereby prevent fertilization of a female through sexual intercourse

    Popular actress, Tonto Dikeh has slammed media personality Shade Ladipo over her recent comments about her new lover.

    Ladipo had taken to her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 28, 2021, where she slammed the movie star for constantly seeking validation from social media about her relationships.

    “I really like Tonto Dikeh but this constant seeking of validation online means you truly haven’t learnt from your past relationship mishaps,” she wrote.

    “I understand you are expressive and wear your heart in your sleeve but foggodsake keep your relationship away from social media.”

    Dikeh wasn’t having of Ladipo’s unsolicited advice as she took a swipe at her.

    “@shadeladipo MOTIVATIONAL speaker madam go and SEAT down some where. MADAM LONG MOUTH…. like you need to speak on every matter. Who the hell putting shit in your face?Look at a grown woman trying to tell. A grown woman how to live her life,” she wrote.

    Controversial media personality, Shade Ladipo has mocked Dj Cuppy, saying her music career is zero percent.

    Ladipo made this known on Monday , saying DJ Cuppy has a charming personality but same cannot be said about her music.

    Ladipo said with her “solid character”, the ‘Gelato’ crooner would find “what she’s good at eventually” — suggesting the entertainer should consider quitting music.

    Outspoken media personality, Shade Ladipo has slammed Ruth Kadiri over calling out the organizers of a recent award ceremony for snubbing her contributions to Nollywood.

    Quavo had tweeted: “You are not the woman I thought you were,” while a subsequent TMZ report debunked the claim.

    Nigerian media personality, Shade Ladipo has slammed Seyi Shay after she had claimed that her Instagram page was compromised by unknown persons.

    On Thursday, three semi-nude pictures of Seyi Shay were posted on her own handle and it got many talking on social media.

    The 34-year-old vocalist, however, said she wasn’t the one who posted them, hedging that her Instagram account had been hacked and compromised by unknown persons.

    “Seems to be a deliberate attack as the photos circulating are not from a recent exchange. Please ignore all direct messages from my account and do not share any personal info,” she had said.

    Reacting via her Instagram story, Ladipo urged the singer to take responsibility if she wishes to show off her curves rather than claim that her account was hacked after the development was greeted with backlash on social media.

    “So I want to understand if your Instagram account gets hacked, did they also hack your naked pictures from within Instagram? I’m asking for my neighbour o,” she wrote.

    “If you want to show us boobie and small yansh, pls do like your mates and stand by it with full chest. I’m here for the whole thing but please stop saying your account was hacked. We went to school ma.”

    Outspoken media personality, Shade Ladipo has slammed her colleague, Toke Makinwa over her tweets criticizing people
    filming the recipients of benevolence.
    The media personality in a post shared via her Instagram page on Sunday April 5, 2020, said Makinwa’s car gift to her personal assistant a while ago was recorded so she wonders why she was slamming other people for doing it.

     

    “No shades…you filmed your whole giving your PA a car which actually inspired me to give my PA a laptop (We serve diferent Gods). In this new world, documenting your benevolence IMO does more good than bad but honestly but irks me when I see it honestly…again no shades,” she wrote.

     

    Ladipo’s post came barely a few hours after Makinwa had taken to her Twitter page to slam people who have been filming their act of benevolence during the lockdown across the country over coronavirus.
    “Here’s an appeal not shade, not a call out either, I salute everyone who’s giving out to the less privileged this season, you are not the government and your kindness will be rewarded by God but can we stop filming the recipients of your benevolence?” she tweeted.
    You can film your acts of kindness for yourselves, your archive or documentation purposes, etc. pls blur out the faces of those receiving them cos they didn’t ask to be seen on camera and you can protect their dignity”.
