Overflow of dams imminent, 13 states prone to flood – NEMA
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has hinted that about thirteen states in the country will experience heavy flooding in the remainder of the year. The affected states are Adamawa, Taraba, Benue, Niger, Nasarawa, Kebbi, Kogi, Edo, Delta, Anambra, Cross River, Rivers and Bayelsa.
