When asked how her childhood was like, she said: ”I was stubborn as a child and I have never been quiet. However, I wasn’t stubborn because I wanted to, I was about pushing my ideas. If I had an idea in my head, I would like to follow through regardless of what everybody says or anything”.

I don’t tell her everything, but I tell her most things. Even while growing up, we never really had secrets, she never shut me down even when I have an opinion. I think that is one of the reasons why I was never timid as a child because she always let me talk”.
Speaking on how her mum educated her about sex, she said:”My mum told me how pregnancy actually happens. You know some people, they would say If you hold his hands, you would be pregnant and all that. But my mum told me what I was supposed to know, she used to tell me to be careful when I was much younger. She told me not to sit on any boy’s laps”.
Jamb Question crooner, Simisola Ogunleye better known as Simi has made the top five spot on the Billboard music charts. The body of work, released twelve days ago, debuted at number five on the World Album charts.

Her rumored beau, Adekunle Gold, also had his eponymous album on the same World Albums chart.

Nigerian singer-sound engineer, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, has released her sophomore album entitled ‘Simisola’. Ever since the release of the album, there has been various reactions to the song she did with her alleged boyfriend, Adekunle Gold.
The 29-year-old singer said there is no special reason for featuring only the Orente crooner on the album.

“It’s a man’s world because we let it be a man’s world. Its not a man’s world because they have any special powers. Its not a woman’s world because we have any special powers, we are all supposed to be good to each other.I am supposed to value you as a man and you are supposed to value me as a woman.
The singer’s debut album ‘Ogaju’ was released in 2006, at a time when her genre of music was gospel.
Jamb Question sensation, Simi has revealed that Nigerian men are not romantic. The songstress who has an affinity for romantic songs said she doesn’t believe Nigerian men are romantic.
According to her: “I don’t believe Nigerian men are romantic. I think Nigerian men do not think they have to be romantic. I am not saying this to bash men but I think no one pushes Nigerian men to fight for anything so they have this sense of entitlement. I was watching a Nigerian movie one day and there was this unfaithful Nigerian man who left his wife for another woman. At the end of the day, the other woman left him and he retraced his steps to his initial wife. The lady’s mother actually told her to kneel in front of the man and that bothered me a lot even though I knew it was a movie. That is the way things are” she told Punch.
She also condemned the sense of entitlement Nigerian men display, adding that Nigerian men grow up, feeling entitled to certain things.
Hear her:“A lot of men grow up in this country feeling entitled to certain things and they believe that they don’t have to work for anything. This has been the case for generations and a lot of our mothers were unhappy because the society expected them to stay in the relationship. I am not saying it is the right thing for people to leave their relationships but a man needs to fight for what he wants so he can value it. I think the problem is because a lot of Nigerian men feel self-entitled and I blame our culture and our mothers. Most mothers are the problem because when something happens, they are quick to advise the daughter and wives, they don’t tell the men that their actions are wrong. So if a man feels that he does not have to fight to keep the relationship, he would not.”
Believe or not, Simi and Adekunle Gold are on a sizzling romance which seem to be altar bound. Ever before Adekunle Gold became a household name, the talented duo have been dating and have been discreet about their relationship.
