    I didn’t have sex for three months- Skales

    Raoul John Njeng-Njeng known by his mononym Skales has revealed that he was celibate for three months , adding that he is proud of himself.

    Skales who signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment after meeting Banky W in 2009, recounted what it felt like practicing celibacy for three months.

    In a chat with Vanguard, he said: “The funny thing is that last year, I practiced celibacy for about three months. I won’t lie, I was proud of myself. I just decided I didn’t want to have sex with any woman but after three months I couldn’t hold it anymore. You know say body nor be firewood now.”

    The singer cum rapper known for his versatility has said he is single to stupor and focusing on his music.

    “I’m still single to stupor, just like Falz would say. Right now, no sex for me, I’m just focusing on my music. In fact, for now I’m working on my next album”, he said.

    Nigerian singer and rapper, Skales has lamented over President Muhammadu Buhari’s leadership style, adding that he is the worst president in the world.

     

    The singer who couldn’t hide his disdain for the state of the nation, expressed his angst on his Twitter page on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

     

     

    “Buhari is the worst president in the world yes I said it ….this human abuse has to stop …u lied to us when I wanted to be voted in …shame !!! I love my country and I want the best for my country. Worst government worst leadership my country is a tragedy and a joke and it’s crazy how we adapt to this nonsense….big up naija people…it’s time we come together and stand against this bullshit end sars and bullying from our president he doesn’t care about us”

    The controversial rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, is known for condemning new Nigerian artistes and other professionals in the music industry.

    Recall that Eedris recently threw a jab at Timaya, calling him an ingrate. Timaya lashed out at the rapper calling him a dirty Indian hemp smoker.

    In a recent interview, Skales was asked to express his opinion about Eedris’s assertion. He said:”Big ups Eedris, i mean no disrespect but i feel like he’s going about everything immaturely.

    You are someone we look up to if you want to advice us, you don’t have to insult anybody because you don’t know what these people have done to bless other peoples lives”. Skales said.

    Rapper cum singer, Skales has said dancehall singer, Timaya gave him accommodation when his former record label, Empire Mates Entertainment(EME) kicked him out.

     

    The 26-year-old singer made this known in a post via Twitter on Friday.

     

    He said: “Timaya housed me when EME kicked me out, gave me his pent house to stay that was where I recorded most of the songs on my debut album. Bad belle no dey progress.

     

    “Let’s respect each other, everyone is working hard”.

     

    Reacting to Timaya’s recent rant, where he called Eedris a dirty Indian hemp smoker, Skales said: “ Eedris Abdulkareem is just a sad man, nothing is working for him now and he is coming for everybody, seeking attention.Who you don help, when you reign?”

    Afropop singer and rapper, Skales has revealed the humane part of indigenous rapper, Olamide people hardly know about. The singer said Olamide assisted him in paying for the video of his hit song, ‘Shake Body’.

     

    ‘Shake Body’ was a lead single in his debut album, ‘Man Of The Year’. He made this known in a series of tweets.

     

     

    He wrote: “Guys I’ve been holding this back for so long but I gota let the world know @olamide_YBNL …actually gave me cash to shoot ‘shakebody’ vid. Back then I was super broke and couldn’t afford to shoot a video for that song I will neva forget it bro thanks a lot bro @olamide_YBNL

     

    “And since then my life has never been the same….GOD BLESS ALL THE REAL AND TRUE ONES OUT THERE,” he said.

     

    Olamide in his response wrote:”God for all bro ?? we agreed to keep this coded dough lol ??‍♂️,” he tweeted.

    Nigerian rapper and singer, Skales has continued to wax stronger against all odds. The Baseline artiste whose song, Temper is ruling the airwaves has said getting married is not in his plans for the next ten years.

     

    According to him:” Based on the plans I have for myself I don’t see myself getting married ten years from now. Things might change, but for now I am not thinking of getting married ten years from now”.

     

    Over the years, the former EME artiste has switched his sound from hip-hop to Afropop and it has worked for him immensely. Speaking on the metamorphosis in his music, Skales said:” I like to make party music that is who I am. Yes, sometimes I love to chill but I like to party. That is who I am. If I like to party, I have to do the same thing that makes me turn up”.

    When asked If its right for celebs to put their personal lives on social media, Skales said:” I have been a victim of so much bashing on social media I will say it’s a bad thing when artistes put their personal lives on social media. It has its good and bad side though. I have been a victim I put my private life in the open , It was like I shot myself in the leg. I see myself like the kid everybody saw growing up. I have never been married, shout out to the person who made that up. I woke up and I heard that I am now a father. Fame is a gift and a curse. It is just crazy”.

    Former EME artiste and label mate to Wizkid, Skales has revealed that though Wizkid inspires him , they are not really friends contrary to what many believe

     

    The ‘Temper’ sensation made this known in a recent interview . According to him:“Even in EME, we were just cool for the business and for the music – and whatever happened happened.

     

    “We are doing great in our different lanes. He’s doing great with Drake, I’m doing great with Nicki Minaj.”

     

    “I can’t deny the fact that we started together and he’s doing really big things. We are all doing really great in our different ways, in our different lanes and I’m inspired by his work and stuff,” Skales said.

    Speaking on how he met the sensational rapper, Nicki Minaj, Skales noted that it was masterminded by Diplo. “It’s still crazy to me how I keep getting DMs from her.

     

    “Nevertheless, I can never give props to anybody else than Diplo of Major Lazer.

     

    “It was Diplo that hooked us up and he’s the reason why I can communicate with her and share my sound.He gave me that platform to share my sound with the world.”

    The Jos born singer also revealed in the interview that he never really intended to sign with the Banky W led Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).

    He said: “I wanted to have something that’s mine. I never wanted to sign to any label.I wanted to do stuff my own way but as an artiste, you need that financial support, you need that platform, hence the reason why I signed to EME.”

    Popular Nigerian rapper, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, known as Skales in the music industry has revealed his sexual fantasy. The Shake Body sensation said he will love to have sex in an aeroplane. He made this known during an interview with TheNetng.

    When asked about his first sexual experience, he said: “I don’t even know when or how must I recall that between age 13 and 15 with an older girl.
