    Why my husband became a skit maker – Actress, Mercy Aigbe

    Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has stated reasons why her husband , Kazim Adeoti, recently started doing skits.

    Aigbe made this known on Tuesday during the premiere of her new movie, ‘Ada Omo Daddy’.

    Speaking in a now trending clip on the internet, Mercy stated that her husband became a skit maker to promote her movie.

    The actress narrated the challenges faced in promoting the movie before it was released, the actress thanked Adeoti for his support and dedication to seeing her dreams come true.

    Recall that Kazim Adeoti who is a movie marketer, married Aigbe as his second wife in 2022.

    Celebrities at the event include Eniola Badmus, Femi Adebayo, Kiekie, Nkechi Blessing, Deyemi Okanlawon, Laide Bakare, Lizzy Anjorin, Odunlade Adekola and Bobrisky.

    Skit maker, Taaomaa speaks on venturing into music

    Popular skit maker, Maryam Akpaogaki, popularly known as Taaooma, has revealed why she delved  into the music industry.

    The comedienne-cum-musician noted that it is better she use her songs in her skits instead of using songs by other musicians.

    Taaoma made this known while featuring on the podcast hosted by ave presenter Fisayo Fosudo.

    She said, “For me, entertainment is freedom. You can do anything.

    “I also like the fact that it’s my music. It’s my song. It’s a song that I can be proud that I made. I just feel like, I’m using other people’s songs [in my skits], and this thing is not so hard. I have a studio, we can record songs.

    “I love music. Some people used to say I have [a melodic] voice. But, I feel like, instead of me trying to sing, we can do collaborations and make something happen.”

    Nigerian comedian, skit maker  and content creator, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has stated reasons why he doesn’t promote nudity in his skits.

    Sabinus said that his plan has always been to promote content for the entire family.

    The Rivers born comedian made this known at the SMFest in Owerri, the Imo State Capital.

    Sabinus said: “I have been in situations where some people will be like, ‘Sabinus, I want to join your comedy [group], I can do anything.’ I will say no, please let me give you a role to do. I have also had a situation where I was about to shoot and a girl was like, ‘You expect me to tie wrapper?’ I said, “My sister, that is what I love. That is what suits the story.’

    “Sometimes, you need a fine girl, but she mustn’t be showing bumbum and bobbies.”

    Comedian Sabinus reveals the person behind his success in Skit Making

    Nigerian Skit producer and comedian, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, unveiled the person who inspires him in his comedy career.

    Sabinus revealed that his fiancée, Ciana inspired his career breakthrough.

    The comedian made this known while featuring on a question-and-answer session with his fan on his Instagram page.

    A curious fan had asked who inspired him to move from his base in Port Harcourt to Lagos for greener pastures.

    “Who gave you the idea of going to Lagos to hustle and what year,” the fan asked.

    Sabinus responded that his fiancée, Ciana, had given him the idea.

    “My baby boo @ciana_chasman,” he said.

    Sabinus recently revealed his net worth on social media.

    The Skit maker in a question-and-answer session on his Instagram page disclosed that his net worth is estimated to be worth N600 million.

    Why stand-up comedy is dying in the country – Helen Paul

    Actress and comedian, Helen Paul popularly known as Tatafoo has said that skit-making is gradually phasing out stand-up comedy in the country.

    She explained that it’s easier to watch a skit from the comfort of one’s homes rather than the hassle of driving down to an event center to queue for tickets and buy tables for a comedy show.

    Paul made this known while granting an interview to a news medium in Lagos.

    However, she added that the stand-up comedians are professionals who have mastered the craft over the years, saying they can easily key into skit making.

    She explained that it will take years of practice from a skit maker to be able to excel in stand-up comedy because of the technicalities involved.

    Tatafo noted that many skit makers just sit somewhere and come up with content without recourse to some professional conduct.

    The US based entertainer posited that she feels at home in America but still tries to connect to her root and country of birth Nigeria.

    Asked how she has combined academics with career, Paul said it’s an effort that didn’t start in just one day, adding that it hasn’t been an easy task.

    She said  ”My academic sojourn has been a marathon, not a sprint. I am not the most intelligent, smartest, or brightest scholar out there, I am just a passionate, committed, persistent, and determined person who hardly takes no for an answer”.

    Comedian Mr Macaroni opens up on plans for marriage

    Famous Skit maker, comedian and actor Debo Adebayo also known as Mr Macaroni has opened up on marraige.

    The comedian has revealed that he has no plan of getting married anytime soon, saying marraige really scares him.

    Macaroni made this revealation during a question and answer session from his fans on his Twitter page.

    When asked if he’s considering marriage anytime soon, Mr. Macaroni said ‘no’.

    According to him, marriage scares him and he has not been in a relationship since 2012.

    His tweet read : “No! Marriage scares me. I haven’t been in a relationship since my time in Houdegbe North American University, Benin Republic (HNAUB). That’s like 2011-2012.”

    Macaroni also disclosed that he attended four universities: Leads City, Houdegbe North American University and Babcock before he finally graduated from Redeemers University.

    His comedy idea sees him wearing a rich Agbada, tending to realize beautifully endowed ladies with the aid of maybe transferring a big amount of money to them or doing something of the sort.

    Christened Debo Adedayo but famously known as Mr. Macaroni is a Nigerian comedian, actor, and all-around entertainer.

    He’s popularly known with the trending slogan “You’re Doing Well; Ooin” and he grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria.
