WAEC announces start date for 2023 SSCE

The start date for the 2023 school-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been announced by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). According to WAEC, this year’s exam will commence on Monday, May 8 and will run till Friday, June 23.

Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is set to announce a shift in date for the opening ceremony and match of the 2022 Qatar winter Worldcup. The opening match between host Qatar and Ecuador initially billed for November 21st will now be played on the 20th of November.
