  • ALA by FEMY TOYS

For WET 2018, menswear label, Femy Toys has chronicled its seasonal story by exploring it’s long lived dream and desire of mastering the art of creating well tailored suits it’s consumers can live and breathe in with Style.

Straying away from a niche stitched to fast fashion, the traditionally minimal yet contemporarily flamboyant range of tastefully constructed suits flaunts the essence of its consumers typical idea of a Closet Show-off, the kind which envelopes and seals the physical form with impeccable fit.

  • 5 Style lessons we’re taking from TV Girl Mimi Onalaja

TV girl Omowunmi “Mimi” Onalaja is one fashionable diva.

From her days as a rising face on screen, Mimi has consistently delivered fresh takes on trends be it the red carpet, casual daily wear or bringing the drama in flares, Mimi is the girl that nails each look effortlessly.

Muse for fashion FablanebyDerin, the style girl knows how to keep us glued to her Instagram for endless style inspiration. We’re taking some style lessons from the media girl on how to wear latest trends.

    Embrace colours
Colours are indeed the spice of life and Mimi shows us how to do colours just right. Infuse colour into our wardrobe with bright colours pink or purple or red.

Don’t have a knack for bold colours? Not to worry! Choose blush or neutrals over coloured pants or go the classic route by pairing a white or black top/bottoms with a the coloured piece.

Casual doesn’t have to be boring
Take casual to another level by accessorizing with statement jewelry or bag. Small chic shoulder bags are currently having a moment so you’ll want to work that into your top and denim look. Throwing on your shirt-dress over top and ripped jeans is another simple trick to give you an elevated casual style.

Let your accessories do the talking
Elevate your looks with just the right bag or purse to add vibe to your look.

    Get high on prints
Think colourful breezy dresses, two pieces/co-ords or ankara dresses this season. If there’s one thing we love about Mimi’s feed it is how vibrant and colourful it appears.

Light easy breezy fabrics will do. The hot whether is here so you want to keep things light.

    Go bold or go home
Now subtle sometimes won’t just won’t do. To balance everyday and work styles, go for ‘extra’ when it comes to events or special occasions. Exaggerated sleeves, tulles, ruffles, flares and ball gowns are the way to go.
