Pastor Adeboye reveals secret to all round success

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye says preaching of the gospel remains the secret of all round success for every child of God.

Adeboye said this while admonishing the faithful on a live Sunday Service via Dove Television.

The RCCG GO disclosed that soul winning was the secrets of success for every child of God, taking his text from the book of Mark 16: 15-20.

He urged all Christians to preach the gospel so as to become successful in life.

According to him, if you become an active soul winner, you will begin to enjoy many benefits.

The benefits, he said, include constant answered prayers, constant divine touch, supernatural strength and hearing from God.

“You don’t need to be a prophet to hear from God, only be a soul winner. Other benefits are miraculous supply, divine immunity. You don’t have to worry yourself about demonic attacks, evil arrow, poisonous foods; they will not be able to harm you.

“You will begin to enjoy divine partnership, God becomes your partner and you become successful, God will always back you up, you will begin to enjoy divine excellence; become better than your colleagues.

“Also, you will live long if you are winning soul; a Christian that is not winning soul risks not living a long life,” he said.

Adeboye further emphasised that anyone who did not preach the gospel, would be in danger as a Christian.

He, therefore, urged all faithful to be wise by doing what the word of God says about winning souls.

  • Integrity, A Core Value For Building A Lasting Success, By Oghovemu Daniel Okpu

In his book, “Success Tablet,”Osita Kingsley wrote: “Nathaniel was surprised that Jesus knew him when he said to him ‘Behold an Israelite indeed in whom there is no deceit’ (John 1:47). Jesus spelt out his most charming and outstanding attribute, integrity; without deceit. Don’t ever think that people are ignorant of your level of integrity. They know. They just haven’t told you. People understand what they hear but believe what they see. First impression or last impression, integrity will speak. If not now, it will in the long run.”
As Osita rightly cited, Jesus pointed out Nathaniel’s most charming and outstanding value, integrity. The question is: “Why did Jesus Christ recognize Nathaniel’s attribute of integrity?” I believe the Lord did so to teach us that one of the most important virtues or values we need to build and live a meaningful life is the value of Integrity. And I concur with Osita when he said, “Don’t ever think that people are ignorant of your level of integrity. They know. They just haven’t told you.”
    What is integrity?
Now,Orpah Gail Winfrey, better known as Oprah Winfrey who has been ranked the richest African-American, the greatest black philanthropist in American history and is currently North America’s first and only multi-billionaire black person has said that real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody is going to know whether you did it or not.Put differently, integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.
In line with this definition of integrity by Oprah, Joseph of the Bible without argument was a man who possessed this core value called integrity. Without doubt, nobody would have known that he slept with the master’s wife if he had actually done so, but integrity held him back from doing it. Vibrating with the force of integrity, hear what Joseph said, “How can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? (Gen. 39:9, KJV).” What others call an opportunity, Joseph saw it as an act of wickedness against God Almighty and his master, Portiphar because of integrity.
Furthermore, integrity is honesty and truthfulness. It is walking your talk no matter who is involved. It means matching your words with your actions. It is being the same person you claim you are in the open when you are in the secret. It is saying ‘No’ when you should and ‘Yes’ when you should regardless of WHO is involved or the benefits you stand to gain if you did the opposite. Integrity is accepting to fail successfully when you have the opportunity to succeed through deceit or dubious ways.
    It’s irreplaceable
Without mincing words, integrity is irreplaceable; it has no substitute.
Competence cannot replace it. No matter how good you are at your job, or what you do, people won’t want to have any transaction or associate with you once they know they cannot trust you. Also, your beauty or handsomeness cannot replace it. If you are not truthful or honest in dealing with your partner, your relationship/marriage will not stand the test of time even if you have the look of an angel; Yes! What could replace integrity? Is it academic qualification, family background, social status, or eloquence? None of these can; not even wealth. Knowing that integrity is a Must-have value, then you you’ve got to build it.
The importance of integrity to building a happy better life cannot be overemphasized. On your pathway to greatness, integrity is a nitty-gritty. In every area of life, it is irreplaceable. In business, you need it to retain your customers and clients. In relationship or marriage, you need it to keep you and your partner together happily. In the workplace, you must build integrity to win the approval of your employer and colleagues. In leadership, you can’t do without integrity if your team must run with you to achieve your set vision or goals. What of ministry? The moment your members or followers discover you are not who you claim to be, you are as good as a total failure.
Come on, I can go on and on…
Integrity makes the pathway to success smooth to walk on, but the lack of it makes it slippery to tread upon (Proverb 10:9). The virtue of integrity will protect your image and reputation; it will shield you from enemies who are looking for an opportunity to hold you with a fault. See Daniel 6:4; his enemies who were envious of the height God placed him looked for an occasion to accuse him but they could not see any. Why? Because Daniel was a man of integrity; he was upright in every matter – doing the right thing whether someone was watching him or not.
    Two important things about integrity…
There are two thing you need to know about integrity. First, integrity cannot be faked. I mean, you cannot pretend to have it when you don’t actually do. If you try it, sooner or later, you will be uncovered and the negative effect will be devastating.
Secondly: Integrity may not be found to be rewarding in the short-term. For instance, in the case of Joseph earlier cited, initially his integrity may seem to have put him in trouble as he was thrown in prison.
Another example is that of the three Hebrew young men who stood for what was right, not minding the consequence (Daniel 3). In these cases, integrity appeared to be of no gain, but in the long run, it was found to be a bedrock for building and sustaining good and lasting success. For their integrity, Joseph and the three young men were gainfully rewarded.
Obviously, it takes courage and sacrifice to uphold integrity but in the end, the pain is nothing to be compared with the gain. So the best decision you can take now as you read this piece is the decision to start building up the attribute of integrity. No matter how it has been, it is not too late to start.
Do you desire a happy better life? Do you want a lasting success in your career, business, studies, relationship/marriage? Do you want to be promoted by God before the eyes of your enemies as He did for Joseph, Daniel, the three young Hebrew boys (Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego), and many others too numerous to mention? Then decide today to practice and build the value of integrity.
Strive to do the right thing even when nobody will know that you did it or not. As Brian Tracy advised, “Always carry yourself as though everyone is watching, even when no one is watching.” No matter who is involved (relation, best friend, boss, etc.), refuse to compromise no matter what you stand to gain, or the abuse or criticism it will bring to you. It is better to be a friend of God than be a friend of multitude and be an enemy of God.
Be honest and truthful in your dealings with people. Do what you say and say what you do. Integrity do not make promises carelessly but very carefully, and it keeps to its words. Let your YES be YES and your NO be NO. If you know you cannot fulfill a promise, don’t make it in the first place, and if you have said you would, then ensure you do it. If you know you won’t meet up with the appointment or supply, don’t say you will.
If you already know you’re not going for the movement, don’t assure people that you are going. If you know you cannot make the call, pay the visit, etc., do not promise you will. When you clearly know that you can’t pay the debt, do not promise the creditor.
Do not accept the contract if you know you can’t meet the terms. If you know you will not marry him or her, then don’t propose. In brief, let integrity be your watch-word in everything you do.
In closing, remember the words of Osita, “Don’t ever think that people are ignorant of your level of integrity. They know. They just haven’t told you. People understand what they hear but believe what they see. First impression or last impression, integrity will speak. If not now, it will in the long run.” To achieve a lasting success in life, maintaining the attribute of integrity is a nitty-gritty; it’s a prerequisite for fulfilling the purpose of God for your life. So, grab it!
Thanks for taking your time to read. It shows your great determination to grow and become a happy better you. I hope this benefits you.
Keep striving to be a happy better you, unleash your fullest potentials and live your best life.

Success’ videotape: Lady to receive N500, 000, car gift

Stephanie Idolor, the lady who videotaped Success, an angry school pupil sent home over school non payment of school fees, is to receive N500,000.

Popular comedian, Mc Jollof, recently took to his Instagram page with a video in which he revealed that the Delta state deputy speaker, Hon. Friday Osanebi, has requested for Idolor’s account number to credit her with a sum of N500, 000.

Similarly, the principal secretary to the governor of Delta state, Hilary Obi Ibegbulem, has made the promise of a car to Idolor.

Ibegbulem said that she was the real hero and not the little school girl.

Her public outcry has also attracted the attention of Daddy Showkey who stated that she is the real hero and transferred a sum of N100,000 to her bank account.

Daddy Showkey shared a video and wrote:

“Without you this Success story will not be , So my dear @stephanie_idolor pls don’t regret anything, the truth is that you are an Angel and for me you are the true hero, pls send me your account.”

Idolor took to social media just recently to demand compensation from the family after several Nigerians reacted positively to the sensational video which had now gone viral.

According to her, if she had not recorded and posted the video on social media, the family would not be enjoying all the financial assistance and gifts they are now getting.

Social media was buzzing some days ago when a video of a young primary school girl identified as Success, surfaced online.

In the video, Success was angry after being sent away from school for owing school fees.

The video clip which had become an instant sensation in the online community had attracted the attention of celebrities and some well-meaning citizens.

Toke Makinwa, AY Makun , Wale Gates and a host of others were among those who had reacted to the young girl’s plight and offered to do their bit in addressing the issue

Inspiring story of how Social Media helped transformed little Success to a bank customer

Last week, a social media user uploaded a video of a passionate and disgruntled little girl, Success Adegor who felt cheated for being sent out of class because she defaulted in her school fees.

While this was not the first time that such stories and videos make it to the internet, however what took many who have now expressed interest to sponsor the little girl to whatever level of education she so desires is her willingness to receive strokes to stay in class.

Unlike the practice with some pupils who will rather run out of class even when not sent home just for the fun of play, Success told her interviewer that her parents were willing to pay and that the school authority should have whipped her rather than send her home for school fees.

As expected, the video went viral with celebrities and other good spirited Nigerians promising to take over the sponsorship of her education and some others who might be in similar pitiable situation.

Within two days, she turned a mini celebrity. Their Sapele home quickly wore a Mecca kind of tourist attraction. Guests of various calibre flooded her home. Like baby Jesus, several gifts ranging from school fees, school bags, book, cash and promises of scholarship flowed her direction.

The following day, Success displayed her new school bag with gratitude to the kindhearted Nigerians.

As Nigerians continue to show support for Success wellbeing, a Dublin based Youth leader, Mr. Lucky Fasa Eghagbevwa has moved a step ahead in preparing a successful life for Success. FASA has opened an account for her at First Bank PLC, Sapele, to enable her save whatever she has earned and will continue to receive. Though, Success is eight, the likes of Fasa has successfully planned a better future for her through Fasa Hope Foundations/ Fasa Volunteers for Oboro.

It is worthy of note that this is not the first time Mr Lucky Fasa Eghagbevwa is opening bank accounts for children. In July 2018, he opened over 30 bank accounts for children in Christ Hope Academy, Ekpan. Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State.

When news men contacted Mr Lucky Fasa, on why he opened this account, he simply said that miss Success needs an educational trust fund rather than spending the money she is getting now for unnecessary things.

Consequently, the Delta State Government has since began the renovation of Success’ school and had sanctioned the head teacher for demanding illegal fees from her pupils.

For those who are willing to donate their token towards Success educational fund should make their donations to this : Account no is :3135820709
    Account name: Adegor Success
    Bank: First Bank, Sapele

May the Almighty God bless Fasa for this wise initiative.

  • Third year anniversary: My success in office may possible by God – Ambode

Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State, on Sunday, attributed the success, prosperity and developmental strides made by his administration in the last three years to God.

Ambode made this remark at a thanksgiving service held at the Lagos House, Alausa, to commemorate his third year anniversary in office with the theme, “Praise His Majesty”.

He expressed optimism that the success recorded would further sustain the state in years to come.

This day is significant in the history of the state. It is also to celebrate the prosperity the state is known for.

On May 29, we will be three years on the stable of this task and there is no way we would have found ourselves with this level of progress without some supernatural hands.

With this, I give thanks to God. It is not possible to put up a plan and it works out; you should know that there is a source making it to work, God.

It has not been easy with the complexity of managing 24 million people; there is something driving it, and in all situations, we are grateful to God.

He has been a source of joy to us in the state and the country in general,” Ambode said.

On his promise to residents in the next one year, Ambode noted that his administration would continue to render more services as it had done in the last three years.

For me, the last three years have been very eventful and fruitful; you can see remarkable progress going on in the length and breadth of Lagos.

So we can only do better, then render more services to ‘Lagosians’ in the next one year,” he said.

The governor, who said that the thanksgiving coincided with the 51st anniversary of the state and the children’s day, added that it was more or less a double celebration for him.

In his exhortation, entitled, “God’s Unstoppable Promise,” Pastor Paul Adefarasin of the House on the Rock Church, noted that God was ever faithful to his promises, because “He was no man”.

Adefarasin, while praying for the state, said that the promises of God for the state, the government and its people would come to pass.

God’s plans for Lagos are not evil; God will continue to raise the state and its progress will exceed that of other states in the world,” he said.

On the sidelines of the event, Prof. Pat Utomi, an economist, said that the hands of God had clearly been visible in the state as it had enjoyed peace, tranquility and economic growth.

Economic prosperity is here in Lagos and it has also established itself as a clear fulcrum of the economic growth from this region of the world,” Utomi said.

  • ‘My success came through years of struggle’-Tunde Obe

Tunde and Wunmi Obe are a popular showbiz couple who are known for their ever green and inspirational songs. Over the years , they have become worthy rolemodels to youngsters and celebrity couples.Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Tunde stated that his success is as a result of ears of struggles.

According to him:” A lot of people say music of this generation doesn’t have substance and it’s the truth. We had a lot of substance then and you couldn’t just do a wishy-washy song. Of course, everyone had one wish-washy song at a point in time but an album is supposed to be like a novel. It doesn’t have to be same beats with different lyrics on it, it should be dynamic. The next song and album tells a story of the singer, so by the time you listen to one or two tracks, you will have an idea about the musician’s experience. But now everyone is just on the fast lane, flying on private jets and on drinking spree.

“Where there is so much poverty, people like seeing wealth and I always say it, the people that really have money are quiet about it, they don’t talk. I am not even on Instagram and the only social media account I maintain is Twitter and that’s because I need an outlet where I can reach my fans. You can’t see my mansion or my cars on my social media account; never, because that’s not what I am selling. My success came through many years of struggle, so what am I showing off? Every morning, when I wake up, I thank God that I have achieved so much in my life, so I don’t have to show off”.

  • How Baptist upbringing affected my success in life – Obasanjo

How Baptist upbringing affected my success in life – Obasanjo

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has said the grace of God and quality trainings he received from the Baptist denomination and schools contributed in no small measure to the success of his career.

Obasanjo made this remark Wednesday in the appreciation and acceptance speech he delivered at the ongoing annual session of the Nigerian Baptist Convention in Abuja where he was honoured and celebrated on his contribution to Nigeria and the world peace.

His words: “Permit me to confess publicly, as I did at the program put together by the three Lagos Baptist Conferences, that whatever I am today have been by the grace of God and the Baptist training that I was priviledged to have received early in life through the Sunbeam, the Royal Ambassadors, Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta, Sunday School and Church Training.

“I have been guided throughout my public service by these Baptist principles of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, fairness, inclusion, boldness, order, mutual respect, and integrity. I can say I am the better for it today.”

He challenged all and sundry not to underestimate the importance of various religious training if we want a greater future for our children.

“I therefore urge us to note the importance and influence which the church and its various training programmes are capable of exerting on our children in their formative years. We should never take with levity the character-moulding programmes for our young ones which had been enduringly beneficial to us”, he added.

Speaking further, Obasanjo explained the process he followed in helping those who seek his assistance on one thing or the other.

“Let me also say for avoidance of doubt that in all the instances where I was said to have assisted or helped in securing one thing or another, the normal and proper procedures were still followed.

“What happened was that when they came to me, in each case, I contacted those in charge, while our people made the necessary follow up; and the rest, as they say, is history”, he said.

He urged Nigerians not to cease cooperating with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari in his quest to restore sanity to the polity.

“I am aware that we have challenges as individuals and as a nation; however, we must cooperate with the government in its programmes aimed at poverty reduction, employment generation, fighting corruption and insecurity.”

Earlier in his remark, the President of the Convention who also doubles as the President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev Dr Samson Olasupo Ayokunle showered encomium on Obasanjo for his unprecedented contribution to Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.

He tasked other Christians occupying position of influence to emulate him even as he asked Obasanjo not to cease working for God and humanity.
