    Euro 2024: Super Computer ignores Spain, reveals likely winner

    Opta’s Supercomputer has again revealed the likely champions of the ongoing Euro 2024 tournament holding in Germany.

    Four teams have made it to the semi-final of the ongoing tournament – France, Spain, the Netherlands and England

    According to Opta, England have a 51.51% chance of qualifying for the final as opposed to 48.49% for the Netherlands.

    Spain are seen as slight favourites in the other game with a 53.51% chance of making the showpiece event in Berlin.

    England have been given just a 22.58% chance of winning Euro 2024 – with only the Netherlands given less chance.

    France are the new favourites and have been given a 30.49%, while Spain have a 30.3% chance of success in Germany.

    Euro 2024: England favoured to emerge champions

    SuperComputer has predicted the possible winner of the ongoing Euro 2024 trophy after the first round of fixtures.

    .The Euro 2024 tournament started last Friday with  Germany slugging it out with Scotland at the Alainz Arena.

    All 24 teams have now played at Euro 2024 after Portugal brought the first round of fixtures to a close on Tuesday with a 2-1 victory against the Czech Republic.

    However, according to BETSiE’s SuperComputer, England remains the front-runner among all 24 competing teams to win the Euro 2024 on July 14 despite an unconvincing performance against Serbia in their opening fixture.

    The Three Lions have a 20.97 per cent chance of lifting the trophy in Germany.

    Gareth Southgate’s side are three per cent ahead of France.

    In third position is the host nation Germany with 17.91 per cent.

    Portugal and Spain make up the top five. Both countries are the only other teams boasting a chance of lifting the trophy that has more than 10 per cent.

    Euro 2024: Super Computer predicts overwhelming favourite to win trophy

    Super Computer has predicted the likely winner of this year’s Euro 2024.

    The Euro 2024 tournament is scheduled to begin on June 14 with hosts Germany facing Scotland at Munich’s Allianz Arena.

    As usual Opta SuperComputer has clearly opted for the Three Lions of England as the clear favourite among all 24 competing teams to win the tournament on July 14, this year.

    England  emerged likely winner and overwhelming favourite  with a nearly 19.9 per cent chance of becoming the 17th winners of the competition.

    The odds of England reaching the quarter-finals stand at 70 per cent, the semi-finals at 48.2 per cent, and the final at 31.1 per cent.

    France followed closely behind with a 19.1 per cent chance of winning and a 30.4 per cent likelihood of reaching the final.

    Hosts Germany, despite the advantage of playing on home soil, have a 12.4 per cent chance of clinching the trophy.

    Defending champions Italy, meanwhile, face tougher odds with only an 11.4 per cent chance of making the final and a mere 5 per cent chance of retaining their title.

    Opta Super computer has made yet another adjustments to its Premier League title favourite

    Super Computer has now picked Manchester City as the overwhelming favourites to win the Premier League.

    This follows shock defeats suffered by Liverpool and Arsenal on Sunday.

    The Reds lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace, while the Gunners were beaten 2-0 at home by Aston Villa.

    Following the completion of the games, Opta’s title predictor is now up to 70% in favour of Manchester City winning the Premier League.

    Arsenal have an 18% chance of winning it and Liverpool a 12% chance.

    The next round of games will see City away at Brighton and Arsenal travel to Wolves.

    EPL: Super computer makes adjustments, predicts fresh title favourite

    Opta Super computer  has made adjustments to its previous prediction on the Premier League winner.

    According to the Supercomputer, Manchester City are now the favourite to win the title 40 per cent chance despite being third on the log currently.

    The adjusment was made following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

    The Reds are next on 31 per cent with Arsenal, the leaders, given a 29 per cent chance.

    Liverpool had been top of the predictor on Sunday morning.

    However, they needed a late Mohamed Salah penalty to earn a point at Old Trafford.

    United had cancelled out Luis Diaz’s opener with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo.

    Up next for Liverpool is Crystal Palace. Arsenal host Aston Villa and City play Luton Town at the Etihad.

    AFCON 2023: Supercomputer predicts winner of today’s final

    Ahead of today’s final showpiece at AFCON 2023, the Opta’s supercomputer has once again revealed the winner of the tournament.

    According to the contact lenses of the Supercomputer, the Super Eagles are clear favourite to nick their fourth title in Cote D’Ivoire today.

    The Opta supercomputer predicts Nigeria will defeat Ivory Coast in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final, with Nigeria having a 56.2% chance of winning based on pre-match simulations Nigeria aim to secure victory over Ivory Coast for the second time after their previous 1-0 win in the group stages

    The two countries will face off in the AFCON final to be held in Abidjan on Sunday, February 11, with historical stats showing the significance of the match for both teams.

    Both teams earlier met in the group stage  with the Super Eagles coming out tops after Captain Troost Ekong only penalty goal separated both sides.

    The final encounter will take place at the Alhassan Quattar stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan by 9pm Nigerian time.

    UCL: Supercomputer predicts team likely to win trophy

    Supercomputer has predicted high chances for Manchester City, Bayern Munich to clinch the 2023/24 season UEFA champions League trophy.

    According to Super Computer, City have the higher ratio to retain the trophy they won last season.

    Pep Guardiola’s side have a 36.1% chance of lifting the trophy again, a whopping advantage when compared to the next favourites Bayern Munich with 10.2% odds of glory.

    The German champions sit ahead of Arsenal who are third favourites with a 7% likelihood of winning a first Champions League trophy, while record champions Real Madrid have a 6.6% chance of a 15th title.

    For the other English sides the prospects are slim. Manchester United come in at only 4.4%, while Newcastle have a 2.7% chance of a surprise trophy lift.

    Out of the top 16 sides, it’s PSV Eindhoven who have the lowest chance of winning the tournament, sitting at just 1.1%, narrowly below Benfica who have a 1.4% chance.

    EPL: Super Computer tips, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal to win on matchday 6

    Opta  Super computer has predicted outcome of some English Premier League games for Match day 6.

    Super Computer has backed Manchester United to end their three game winless streak across all competitions this weekend when they face newly promoted Burnley away from home.

    The Red Devils have conceded 14 goals in their last six outings in the Premier League and Europa League, with Erik ten Hag’s side dropping to 13th in the league standings, after losing three of their first five opening games to Tottenham, Arsenal and Brighton.

    Despite their unimpressive start to the new season, that also saw them go 4-3 down to Bayern Munich in their Champions League opener on Wednesday night, the Opta supercomputer is giving them a 46.8 per cent chance to defeat Burnley on Saturday afternoon at Turf Moor.

    The computer gave Vincent Kompany’s side a 24.9 per cent chance of winning the clash, with the newly promoted side sitting second from bottom having failed to win so far this season, but managed to hold Nottingham Forest to a 1-1 draw last weekend, with Lyle Foster being sent off in the fourth minute of injury time.

    Elsewhere, unbeaten Arsenal and Tottenham go head-to-head in what is gearing up to be one of the biggest North London Derbies for a long time, with both sides enjoying impressive starts to the new league campaign.

    Neither have been beaten as yet, with both sides winning four of their opening matches, each drawing the fifth game, with both sitting level on 13 points with Spurs only above Arsenal in second place on goal difference.

    Super Computer has favoured Arsenal to defeat Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday afternoon giving the Gunners a 47.6 per cent chance of winning with Spurs, who have only beaten their bitter rivals just once in their last 30 Premier League meetings,

    Elsewhere, it tipped Manchester City to defeat Nottingham hotspurs at the Etihad.

    Despite the Blues unimpressive showings in recent times, Super Computer also tipped Chelsea to defeat Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

    The south London outfit will be hoping for three points on Sunday which could propel them back up the standings above London rivals Brentford into eighth place,

    Nigeria vs England: Supercomputer predicts winner

    Super computer has predicted the outcome of the round of 16  match between Nigeria and England today in Brisbane.

    The Three Lionesses, who boast quarter-final appearances in 1995, 2007, and 2011, are flying high as Group D winners, eager to test their mettle against Nigeria, the Group B runners-up.

    The Super Falcons have remained undefeated after claiming an impressive victory over co-hosts Australia and draws against Olympic champions Canada and Ireland.

    But the Super computer has predicted that the Three Lionesses will beat Nigeria’s super Falcons to the quarter-final ticket today, Monday.

    The statistical giant has combined betting market odds and their in-house power rankings to forecast that England will beat Nigeria.

    It predicts a 79.65% probability of England’s triumph over the Super Falcons in the upcoming bout.

    Sarina Wiegman’s English squad has been hailed as the favourites to lift the 2023 World Cup trophy, bolstering their odds as the team to watch.

    On the other hand, Nigeria’s chances of claiming the title, while still existent, are pegged at a slim 0.49%.

    EPL: Supercomputer predicts Manchester City to win league title

    The supercomputer has revealed the winner of this season’s English Premier League Winner.

    Arsenal are currently leading the pack with 44 points followed religiously by Manchester City on 39 points with just 5 points difference between it and Arsenal.

    However, Super Computer believes Manchester City will win still overtake Arsenal and win the league title come May 2023.

    According to the computer, defending champions Manchester City will retain their title despite currently sitting five points behind the north London side.

    City have won the league four times in the previous five seasons, while Arsenal have won the title since 2004.

    The Gunners have been impressive this season but the supercomputer expects Pep Guardiola’s side to take charge in the coming months and win the title by one point.

    It has predicted that City will rack up 84 points, while the Gunners will have to make do with 83 points.
