EPL: Supercomputer names team that will win title

The Supercomputer has predicted that the 2023/24 Premier League title race between Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City will be decided by just a single point,

The latest round of results in the competition over the weekend flung the title race wide open.

Liverpool maintained its position on top of the log after defeating Brentford  4-1, Arsenal come in second by defeating Burnley 5-0, City are in third position after playing out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

After 25 games, Liverpool lead the standings with 57 points, two ahead of Mikel Arteta’s side.

Man City are two points further back in third position but have a game in hand.

However, as per Instant Casino’s supercomputer (via The Sun), Jurgen Klopp’s side are expected to remain at the top come the end of the season, with 86 points, while Man City are predicted to finish second, a point behind.

EPL: Supercomputer predicts teams to win, relegate

A Supercomputer has made fresh predictions as Manchester City hold Arsenal on Wednesday at the Etihad in a title-deciding clash.

The Supercomputer also predicted the teams that will relegate and also finish in the Premier League top four this season.

Arsenal currently lead the premier league log with five points and Manchester City are currently placed second and trailing with five points.

But Pep Guardiola’s side has two games in hand as Arsenal dropped valuable points in recent weeks.

Recall that the Gunners blew a 2-0 lead against Liverpool earlier this month after Jurgen Klopp’s side fought back and snatched a point in their 2-2 draw at Anfield.

Mikel Arteta’s side then went on to bottle another 2-0 lead against West Ham at the London Stadium, with the Hammers picking up a point from the 2-2 draw.

Arsenal came from behind at the Emirates last week to secure a vital point in their 3-3 draw with relegation-threatened Southampton.

However, BettingExpert has now used its BETSiE data machine to determine which team will come out on top in the nerve-wracking Premier League title race between Arsenal and Man City.

The data machine used pre-season expectations, results and xG to predict the full Premier League table after simulating the remainder of the season 100,000 times.

According to the Supercomputer, Man City will retain the Premier League title this season, and Arsenal will have to settle for second place.

Manchester United and Newcastle United are predicted to secure the remaining two top-four positions, while Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Everton are expected to be relegated this season.

The likes of Brighton, Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Fulham and Brentford will complete the top 10 spots.

Chelsea, Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Wolves, Leicester City and Leeds United will finish below the top 10 spots.

According to Mirror Football’s Supercomputer, Liverpool will finish on top of the table and will win the 2022/23 Premier League title ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Mancity finished above Liverpool to emerge champions with just one point last season. Super computer has now predicted that reverse will be the case next season.

The report added that Jurgen Klopp’s side have a 71 percent chance of winning the league, while Man City have a 24 percent chance of retaining their title.

Meanwhile, both teams sit at 100 percent to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, having been boosted by the additions of Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez, respectively, this summer.

However, Arsenal sits as the third-most likely team to qualify for the Champions League with a percentage of 59.

Mikel Arteta’s side have signed Fabio Vieira from Porto and are on the verge of sealing a deal for Man City’s Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal’s rival Tottenham are next, with a 49 percent chance of a top-four finish. Spurs have already signed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, and Yves Bissouma.

Chelsea, who finished third last season, currently have a 39 percent chance of qualifying for Europe’s elite club competition.

The new season will run from Friday, August 5, 2022, to May 28, 2023.
