Woman undertakes surgery to remove gorilla glue from hair[VIDEO]

Tessica Brown, a Louisiana woman who applied gorilla glue adhesive spray to her hair, has successfully undertaken a surgery to remove the glue — about a month after the occurrence.

The 40-year-old had first shared her story on TikTok, clarifying that she sprayed the glue on her hair after she ran out of her usual hair spray.

She had thought she would rinse it out after a few hours, but was shocked when it refused to come off, thereby given rise to severe headaches.

Prior to the surgery, Brown had her ponytail extension cut off at the root, leaving the base of her hair after taking several drastic steps to remove the permanent glue herself.

She also became a target for unsolicited attention, with many referring to her as “the Gorilla Glue girl.”

After her story went viral, Michael Obeng, a plastic surgeon, offered to help her get rid of the glue (free of charge) — in a procedure that she would have paid $12,500.

Brown had earlier taken to her Instagram page to notify her followers that she would be travelling to Los Angeles to get the procedure done.
