  • Oyakhilome amazes gospel artiste with car gift

Sensational gospel artiste, Ada has joined the throng of celebrities starting 2018 on a bright note. The ‘Bobo me’ singer took to her Instagram page to announce how she got a brand new SUV from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers Love World a.k.a Christ Embassy.

Recall that in recent times, the Nigerian church has come under intense condemnation, its leadership being accused of manipulating cash-strapped church members. However with Ada’s example, the Nigerian church seem to be gradually responding to the needs of those around.

An excited Ada recounted how she trusted God for a new car, not knowing God was orchestrating one for her.

According to her: “I have never bought a car for myself before. Not because I cannot afford any, but my monies are committed to a whole lot of projects the lord lays in my heart… I wasn’t even praying for one until lately my husband said we should get another one for me and I just mentioned it to the lord and I forgot about it, in fact, the lord reminded me of that simple prayer this week after he gave me this. We didn’t even make any concrete plan. Amazing instead we plunged into another project.

“Here I am, sitting in a brand new September 2017 SUV!!! FREEEEEE!!! My God!!! I am beyond speechless.I have been asking the lord, what exactly did I tell you or what did I do for you? Or how did I pray? That you would honour me n my house hold like this!!! In front of the whole world ? ??Pls remind me lord, so I can be doing, saying and praying that way every day .I love Jesus!!! I love him with my entire existence!!! See what he has done!!! Kayyaaaaa!! Who says Jesus is not real??

“Thank you Pastor Chris Oyakhilome D.Sc D.D for this car and May the lord continue to honour you by himself in front of the whole world. • Updated :’I did not receive any SUV gift from IGP,’ Aisha Buhari denies Misau’s claim

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has denied claims that she received two Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) from the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.

Aisha on Thursday said there was no truth in the claim that he received some vehicles from the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris.
The lawmaker representing the Bauchi Central Senatorial District, Isa Misau, had on Wednesday alleged that Idris gave two Sports Utility Vehicles to Mrs. Buhari.

While appearing before the Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Investigation of Various Allegations Levelled Against the Police, the Inspector General of Police and the Police Service Commission, Misau said details of how Idris gave Mrs. Buhari the two SUV were contained in the documents the police boss submitted to court in the suit instituted against him by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami, on behalf of the Federal Government.

He said, “I still have some contract papers that the IG himself submitted to the court, where the First Lady through her aide-de-camp requested a Toyota Hiace and a Sienna jeep. The same day that the ADC wrote, the IG minuted that she should be given two jeeps. And it is not part of the appropriation. If you look at the appropriation, there is nowhere they said the First Lady should be given two jeeps.”

But Mrs. Buhari in a statement by her Director of Information, Suleiman Haruna, said there was no truth in the allegation.
The statement read, “Our attention has been drawn to the news being widely circulated, and attributed to a member of the Senate, that two SUVs from the Inspector-General of Police were given to the Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari personally.
“The Wife of the President wants to make it clear that since the assumption of office of her husband as President of Nigeria, she did not receive these mentioned vehicles.
“Furthermore, the vehicles she is still using belong to the family and were the ones used during the campaign for 2015 elections including the one for her entourage.”

Misau made the allegation when he appeared before the Senate ad hoc committee investigating the allegations he made against Idris, the Police and the Police Service Commission.
