    Nigerian, South African culture on display as TV Reality Show, Big Brother Titans starts today

    The first big brother combo between housemates in Nigeria and South Africa known as Big Brother Titans, will hit  TV stations across the continent today, January 15.

    The top reality TV Show is expected to arouse curiosity among Nigerian and South African viewers and by extension the rest of Africa.

    The total prize money the winner is expected to win is a whooping prize of $100,000.

    Speaking on the commencement of the show, the Executive Head of Content, MultiChoice Nigeria, Dr Busola Tejumola, expressed confidence in the audience experiencing 10 weeks of entertainment from the show.

    She said, “This special fusion of Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi will surely deliver drama and excitement like never before. The festive period is over but entertainment is just getting started for the year.

    “For the next 72 days, housemates from the two giant nations – Nigeria, and South Africa — will be serving drama, energy, excitement, and all-around entertainment as they try to outwit one another for the $100,000 grand prize. Viewers will be enjoying special Biggie’s diary sessions, Head of House games, Friday night parties, tasks, and live on the dedicated channels”.

    This edition will be held in South Africa and hosted by Nigeria’s Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and South Africa’s Lawrence Maleka.

    BBNaija 7: Reality TV show begins today, organizers reveal host

    Nigeria’s most popular TV reality show, BBNaija will hit the screen on Saturday July 23 and Lawyer cum entertainer, Ebuka Obi Uchendu will be returning as the host of the show.

    This development was made known  on social media by organizers of the show on Friday evening

    “The looks, the wit, the fashion, and the elegance. The multitalented @Ebuka is bringing it all for #BBNaija season 7. Una dey ready?”

    Ebuka, who participated in BBNaija’s debut season in 2006, has been hosting the show since 2017.

    This year’s winner of the reality show will go home with a grand prize of 100 million, the highest ever since the inception of BBNaija.

    N50 million is the cash prize, while the other N50 million is an estimation of prizes from the sponsors.

    Africa’s biggest reality show organized by MultiChoice Nigeria will begin with the two-part launch weekend before plunging into 72 days of what promises to be dramatic, insightful, and downright entertaining content.

    Viewers should expect to experience talented youngsters, bellyaching laughs, emotional moments, and candid advice from Ebuka throughout the season.

    This year’s edition of BBNaija will run for 72 days and end on October 2, 2022.

    Over 40,000 people auditioned to be part of the reality show.

    White Money won the 2021 edition of the show. He also took home the grand prize of N90 million.

    DStv customers who would like to opt-out of viewing the show can do so by sending “Smart card number [space] BBOUT” to 30333, while GOtv customers can do the same by sending “IUC Number [space] BBOUT” to 4688.

    Additionally, customers can activate the parental control option on their DStv and GOtv decoders for viewers younger than 18 years old.

    BBNaija auditions begin, organizers list condition for selection

    The Organizers of Big Brother a TV reality show, have announced that auditions for season 7 of the show have begun.

    In a post on its verified Twitter page, the organizers said that the audition had started on Sunday,May 15th and it would run through 30th May 2022.

    Interested participants are expected to log on to AfricaMagic.tv/bbaudtion, upload a 3 minute video introducing themselves, what is unique about them, their likes and dislikes and why they should be chosen this season.

    They are also to speak about their family and friends.

    BBNaija is a reality show in which contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth $100000 at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted by viewers.
