    Renowned songstress, Beyonce Knowles has finally opened on the birth of her twins, Sir and Rumi.

    The Lemonade singer revealed that her health and her babies were in danger, hence she had to go through an emergency procedure.

    In an interview with Vogue, she said she was in survival mode and “did not grasp it all until months later”.

    In her words: “After the birth of my first child, I believed in the things society said about how my body should look. I put pressure on myself to lose all the baby weight in three months, and scheduled a small tour to assure I would do it.

    “Looking back, that was crazy. I was still breastfeeding when I performed the Revel shows in Atlantic City in 2012. After the twins, I approached things very differently.

    “I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth to Rumi and Sir. I was swollen from toxemia and had been on bed rest for over a month. My health and my babies’ health were in danger, so I had an emergency C-section. We spent many weeks in the NICU. My husband was a soldier and such a strong support system for me.

    “I am proud to have been a witness to his strength and evolution as a man, a best friend, and a father. I was in survival mode and did not grasp it all until months later. Today I have a connection to any parent who has been through such an experience.

    “After the C-section, my core felt different. It had been major surgery. Some of your organs are shifted temporarily, and in rare cases, removed temporarily during delivery. I am not sure everyone understands that. I needed time to heal, to recover.”

    Beyonce also added that she has become much curvier since she gave birth to her twins.

    She said: “During my recovery, I gave myself self-love and self-care, and I embraced being curvier. I accepted what my body wanted to be. After six months, I started preparing for Coachella. I became vegan temporarily, gave up coffee, alcohol, and all fruit drinks. But I was patient with myself and enjoyed my fuller curves. My kids and husband did, too.

    “I think it’s important for women and men to see and appreciate the beauty in their natural bodies.”

    Marriage has taken away most of my indiscipline- Teju Babyface

    Nigerian comedian and talk-show host, Teju Babyface is in the best of moods right now. Teju and his wife Tobi who have been married for close to 6 years finally welcomed their first babies, a set of twins some weeks back. They have been over the moon since the birth of their twins.

    Speaking in a recent chat with City People, Teju revealed that marriage has taken away most of his his indiscipline.

    “ Marriage has taken away most of my indiscipline and has helped me to keep it on a strong leash. I was telling somebody yesterday that the reason why I try to be a faithful husband is not because I am holier or more righteous than most, there are several reasons. One of them is because I lack a sense of proportion, that is because I really don’t know how to do things in moderation. If I was a drinker, I would probably be drinking excessively.

    But thank God alcohol doesn’t hold any interest for me. If I was a smoker I’ll probably smoke excessively. What I did do was that I liked to hang out with girls, which I did excessively. What marriage has done for me is that it’s allowed me to keep my focus on God by keeping my focus on one woman. Nature abhors a vacuum, so I couldn’t have been the kind of man I desired to be without a wife. Having a wife has helped me to try to be that disciplined person amongst all other things. Marrying a good woman also helps you develop greatly. In my lowest moments sometimes, my wife looks at me and just says to me some really wonderful things”.

    The comedian who got married in 2012 has finally welcomed twins.

    The couple who are strong members of Daystar Christian Centre led by Pastor Sam Adeyemi, are joyous and filled with gratitude to God for answering their prayers. An excited Teju took to his Instagram page to share the good news.

  • Kidnappers free Otun Olubadan’s twins

    The abducted twins of the Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun, have been freed.

    A source alleged that their abductors released them after collecting N10 million ransom.

    The children were kidnapped with their mother last week, but she was pushed out of their vehicle after her SIM card was seized.

    The children were freed on Monday evening.

    Police spokesman Adekunle Ajisebutu confirmed the development to newsmen on Tuesday.He said the command would arrest the abductors.

    When asked if ransom was paid to secure the release of the children, he declined comment.

    Pressed further, he said: “I can confirm to you that the children have been released by the abductors. However, we are making efforts to arrest the culprits. I’m not aware of any ransom paid; I can’t confirm that. I will not make further comments, which can jeopardise investigations.”

    The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1, has visited Oba Balogun.

    He said the kidnappers would be brought to justice.

    Represented by his younger brother, 80-year-old Ambali, the first-class monarch described the incident as wicked and ungodly.

    Also on the delegation was the Personal Assistant and Director of Media and Public Affairs to the Olubadan, Mr. Adeola Oloko .

    Former governor of the state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja on Wednesday also sympathised with Oba Balogun on phone.

    His Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Lanre Latinwo, said Ladoja had been away from Ibadan since last Thursday.

    Back in 2017, Paul Okoye announced the arrival of his twins with wife, Anita. Paul shared the news on Sunday, July 9, 2017, via his Instagram account.

    He wrote: “God!! Na me be dis!!?…#twins #papaejima #babaibeji #babayanbiu #doubledouble .What else can I say ?God we thank you, now the house is complete full house soon let me come and be going to #church”.

    Also in 2017, Harrysong welcomed twins with his partner in the United States of America. The Reggae Blue singer reportedly named them Perez and Tarela.

     

     

     

  • Ibadan monarch plead for release of his abducted twins

    Oba Lekan Balogun, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland has pleaded with the abductors of his 5-year-old twins to release them.

    The kidnappers had on Tuesday stormed the Akobo residence of the Otun-Olubadan of Ibadanland, and made away with his set of twins, a not and a girl.

    Sources closed to the family gave the hint on Friday, noting that the helpless family had resorted into intensive prayers for the release of the twins.

    He made the plea while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Ibadan.

    He appealed to the kidnappers to bear with him as he does not have the money being requested.

    The kidnappers initially demanded N100 million ransom and later reduced it to N40 million.

    Oba Balogun said he was able to offer them N5 million which was rejected.

    “The kidnappers should please bear with me and return my kids, I am ready to do anything that will make them happy.

    “I don’t want to endanger the life of my kids and I am not out to fight them because there is no reason for that,’’ Balogun said.

    The mother of the kids was said to have been hospitalised since she received the news of the kidnap with doctors battling to save her life.

    The Oyo Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Adekunle Ajisebutu, said the Oyo State Police Command was doing everything possible to rescue the kidnapped children unhurt and arrest the culprits.

    “The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, has consequently directed the command’s anti-kidnapping squad and other special outfits to organise a manhunt for the suspects and rescue the victims safely.

    “ We assure the parents and the public that we will succeed in this task,“ Ajisebutu said.

    According to a source: “The twins don’t sleep at the same time, so she decided she needed three per child, working in eight-hour shifts.”

    There are also two nannies for Blue Ivy, which makes it a total of eight nannies in their home.

     

    The Carters have been living at a rental in Malibu until they close the deal on a mega mansion in Los Angeles, which will have plenty of room for all the help, it has been reported.

    TMZ reports that the couple have put in an offer in the $130m category.

    Fans are stunned at the unusual name given to the twins. Beyonce and Jay-Z aren’t the first couples to choose some sort of honorific as a forename – Kim and Kanye have little Saint, Michael Jackson’s eldest son is Prince, and Jackson’s brother Jermaine named his son, Er Jermajesty.
