    Uche Elendu condemns court over judgement on Daddy Freeze’s partner

    Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has condemned the Nigerian legal system for the ruling in favour of Benedicta Elechi’s ex-husband Paul Odekina after he claimed his ex-wife committed adultery with media personality Daddy Freeze while they were still couples.

     

    Uche shared a video of Afropop singer, Skuki’s opinion on the issue, stating that Elechi had filed for divorce on the grounds of domestic abuse three years before Odekina’s claim of adultery.

    “How can the custody of children be given to a man after 9years of filing for a divorce?? What exactly is termed adultery in this case? Women should not be marginalized and subdued to staying in an abusive marriage, 9years on a divorce proceeding is very unrealistic and unfair, the law is not always right, why do men like to punish women in marriage?? Asked Uche.

    The actress also reaffirmed her support for Elechi.

    “Is 9 years too short a time for a woman to heal and move on with her life?? Is the trauma of domestic abuse not enough?? I stand with @ tastebudzng.. be strong sis!! Healing and moving on to a deserving life is no crime,” she wrote.

    In recent times, curvy actress, Destiny Etiko has been in the eye of the storm. Weeks back it was alleged that a certain wealthy married businessman bought her the car she flaunted on social media.

    Etiko swore in reaction said the car was brought through dint of hard work.

    On Friday, Etiko was slammed by fans over her choice of outfit to meet with Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello.

     

    Some Nigerians were of the opinion that her outfit was inappropriate for a meeting with a government official.
    Again, she couldn’t withstand the backlash, she had to restrict her comment section.

    Reacting in her defense, her close friend and colleague, Uche Elendu said Destiny and others were on their way to the airport when the Governor called for them to meet with him in his office..

    Elendu said:”How is the dressing a national issue”?


    Her outburst has triggered various reactions from Nigerians.

    Uche Elendu recounts near-death childbirth experience

    Actress, Uche Elendu has revealed that she almost lost her life 12 years ago during the birth of Chizuterem, her first daughter.

    The role interpreter made this known on Wednesday on the occasion of Chizuterem’s 12th birthday.

    She narrated the ordeal she faced while giving birth to Chizuterem on Instagram

    “Happy Birthday to the Love of my Life, my big baby, my first fruit, my bunch of talents, the destined Star, my pride,” she wrote.

    “By this time 12 years ago I was fighting a battle with principalities and powers, fighting with dead people I recognized. The doctors and nurses had lost hope, only the Lord could possibly have saved me and brought me back after 5 hours. Thanks to my doctor that dropped his surgical equipment and picked up his Bible and started praying in the theater. God bless you sir.

    “That’s why when I praise God, I do it without caring where I am and who is watching, there’s nothing that can move me, cos I have been in the war front and my warrior, the strongest and mighty man in Battle delivered me. This big baby came out breathless and it took an angel in the body of a nurse to breathe life into her.

    Veteran actress, Eucharia Anunobi has rained curses on anyone who believes that her colleague, Uche Elendu, lied about the looting in her shop.

    The movie star made this known when she paid a visit to Elendu’s shop to see things for herself.

    While praying for Elendu, Anunobi placed curses on those who accused her of lying that her store was looted to chase clout.

    “It could have happened to anybody yet some wicked people opened their mouth and say you are chasing clout. Somebody sees millions, having been invested and it is lost and says you are chasing clout,” she said.

    “Today I stand in the authority of the name that never fails and I say as God has spoken that evil shall not depart from those who pay evil for good. Today I decree with the unction of God upon my life, I say, Lord, those who are speaking evil concerning this your shop and saying you are chasing clout when there is absolute vandalization after millions have been invested.”

    TheNewsGuru recalls that after Elendu narrated her woes on social media, her colleague, Doris Ogala, alleged that the actress lied about her shop getting vandalized.

    According to her, Elendu released photos of other shops instead of her actual shop.

    Uche Elendu has reacted to allegations that she lied about her store being looted just to get donations from well-meaning Nigerians.

    Fellow actress, Doris Ogala accused Uche Elendu of flaunting someone else’s looted store as hers. She claims she knows the real owners of the store and asked Uche Elendu to come clean otherwise she’ll expose her.

    Followers of Uche Elendu took to Instagram to question Uche about this allegation. Some called her out, others asked her to explain herself.

    “The store that was looted, was it yours,” one follower asked.

    Uche responded: “Yes it is.”

    She added, “My fans know the truth, others are free to patronize clout.”

    To the follower who called her “ole” (thief), Uche responded: “Your mother ole.”

    Popular actress, Uche Elendu has urged Lagos State Government not to prosecute Funke Akindele who was arrested yesterday evening over allegedly contravening the lockdown order in Lagos State.

    It’s not easy not having a man of my own- Uche Elendu

    Beautiful actress, Uche Elendu has disclosed that it hasn’t been easy not having a man of her own.

    The single mother of two also added that her kids keep her company whenever she feels lonely.

     

    “It is not easy not being married and also not having a man of my own. But I have kids who keep me company the whole of my time. I interact with them, take care of them and teach them. As an entrepreneur, I am also making research and relating with my client. I feel the need to be in the company of a man on rare occasions. I don’t really feel bad because I am single. I know I would be in the right relationship when the time comes”, she told The Sun.

     

    Elendu also expressed concerns after learning that one of her colleagues who attended the recently held African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) tested positive for coronavirus.

     

    “I was scared stiff when I heard about it. There were lots of people at that event, so it is expected that there would be exchange of pleasantries, hugging, handshaking, pecking and all. I am really praying that the person that tested positive didn’t spread the virus to other people. If not, it would be a very tragic situation. I hope that at the time he was at the AMVCA, the virus wasn’t strong enough to be transmitted, because lots of people had mingled with family members, friends and more. After the awards, everyone went about their respective businesses. It is really a sad situation, but I am very hopeful.”

    Coronavirus: Nollywood actress Uche Elendu slams Hilda Dokubo

    Uche Elendu has disagreed with her senior colleague, Hilda Dokubo over her recent post on coronavirus.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Dokubo had called on pastors with ‘supernatural powers’ to go and heal people infected with the dreaded coronavirus.

    Elendu took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, where she gave reasons for dissenting with Dokubo’s post.

    She wrote: “With all due respect, I cringe at this post. My Jesus never went from hospital to hospital, or from one home to the other with the intention to heal people so under what authority will these pastors, you challenge do that?? My bible tells me that 100% of the healing Jesus performed was done by the Faith of the afflicted…

    “The bible did not ask pastors to flex muscles by going from hospital to hospital to touch infected people, let us not in the scare of this pandemic make a caricature of the scriptures and the Body of Christ.

    “Hold on to the promises of God over your life and Family, Pray, take precautionary measures and Be safe. This will surely pass,” she said.

    The actress took to her Instagram page where she shared screenshots of chat conversations revealing that Oge Okoye has allegedly been sleeping with Prince Walter Ogochukwu Igweanyiba, Uche Elendu’s ex-husband.

    Beautiful actress and entrepreneur, Uche Elendu has revealed that it is difficult to find good women in this age and time.

    The light skinned beauty entrepreneur said there are lots of women but only few of them are good.

    According to her: “There are lots of women out there but we have very few good women. Most women out there are materialistic, wicked; they are out to frustrate men because they have been hurt. So, when you get a woman that loves you unconditionally with or without money, appreciate her. Not all women are materialistic some women just want you to show them love, most of them go to church to pray for their husbands to have money, pray for their husbands protection and favour. Most spend their last card on their husbands to make sure they are happy but at the end what they get is rejection. Their husbands leave them to follow slay queens that will suck the little one they are able to get”, she told Thisday.

    Speaking further, Elendu added that this leads to failed marriages

    “It doesn’t have anything to do with my personal life. It is just painful and obvious that’s it happening in our society today, that’s why marriages are crashing. Men feel that when they marry a woman or probably she’s given them a child, then she doesn’t have any other place to go. They prefer to go out and look for those slim girls, wearing bum short, that’s why I say women should stop tying wrapper at home”.
