    Marriage is not for everyone – BBNaija’s Uriel

    Big Brother Naija Reality TV star and chef, Uriel Oputa, popularly known as Uriel says critics questioning her single status should back-off  as marriage is not for everyone.

    Uriel who is also an entrepreneur and chef,  took to her Instagram @urielmusicstar to address the issue said, marriage is not an achievement, the reason why she does not feel any pressure from the family or the public.

    According to her, she does not need validation from social media to prove that she is married or not.

    She added that posting her partner or relationship status on social media was a prohibition for her.

    “Marriage isn’t for everyone. If you think marriage is an achievement, that’s on you. How do you know I’m not married? Do you think everyone needs validation from social media?”, Uriel wrote.

    She went ahead to reiterate that she would never post about her partner or relationship status on social media.

    “I would never post my marriage or my partner’s full face here. Age-shaming and marriage-shaming is so 2018. Let’s maintain this energy and save the lives of young men and women”.

    On the topic of trolls who bully people on social media, Uriel reassured them that she is bully-proof.

    “Bullying doesn’t work with me. I went to an all-white school and I was the blackest kid that ever liveth”.

    Meanwhile, the social media influencer has earlier expressed her taught and feelings on the topic of trolls, as well as those that were good in bullying others on social media, reassuring them that she happens to be a bully-proof.

    She became famous after appearing in Big Brother Naija season 2 in 2017, and ever since then, she has built a successful career in various fields.

    Nigerian singer and songwriter, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has  revealed that he married for the wrong reasons.

    In an interview hosted by reality TV personality Uriel on Inside Scoop with Pulse, the prominent activist claimed that when he married his present wife in his early 30s, but he was searching for the wrong qualities.

    According to him, he was looking for a woman who had a nice figure, beautiful and who can sing, since he was going into his hobby, singing.

    All the aforementioned reasons however, were all the wrong reasons. He stated that at the time, those attributes were what he desired so much.

    Charly further said that now, he wants something different since he is no longer interested in a lady’s beauty, nyash, or breast.

    Big Brother Naija reality show star, Uriel Oputa has revealed that she wouldn’t hesitate  to be in a romantic relationship with Groovy  despie their age difference.

    Recently , both celebrities were caught on camera  in a romantic state and it sparked relationship rumours among social media users.

    Many social media users  berated Uriel, 34, for dating a younger man, Groovy, 29.

    Responding to her critics via her Instagram story, she said she would not reject love because of her age.

    In a series of posts, she wrote; “I’m Nigerian British. I will never reject love because of my age.

    “I deserve happiness. I won’t reject a caring man because I’m 5 years older.

    “Pls use Stan Eze and Blessing as a perfect example.

    “You won’t steal my happiness. Never!

    “You guys really think I owe you explanations.

    “Ok.. Boy meets single girl, single girl meets caring guy who loves her cooking.

    “Single girl feels protected. Single guy loves single girl’s heart and funny personality.

    “Single guy and girl didn’t think it was a crime to fall for another single person.

    “The End.”

    Groovy reacted to her post by tagging her on his Instagram story with love emoji.

    Evicted Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Uriel Oputa, has doubted the love between Venita Akpofure and Adekunle Olopade in Biggie’s House.

    Venita and Adekunle confirmed that they are dating after the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, prodded them during the live show on Sunday.

    Disputing their declaration, Uriel, on the latest episode of the Clout Africa podcast said she is still not convinced about their relationship because their intimacy feels off.

    According to Uriel: “For me, I just feel like Venita is an amazing woman, and I love her, and Adekunle is an amazing guy, but I don’t know if I love him yet. We will get to that stage. But with Venita and Adekunle, I’m not convinced about their relationship.

    “And let me tell you why. There was one kiss. You know when you see a couple’s kiss. You’ve seen my kiss, right? Very soft. You cannot compare my kiss to Adekunle and Venita’s kiss.

    “So, I saw a clip; they were in the toilet; Venita wore a swimming suit, and Adekunle grabbed her waist, and they started to kiss. So I examined the kiss. To me, that kiss was not sensuous.”

    Evicted Big Brother Naija All Stars female housemate, Uriel Oputa, popularly known as Uriel has revealed that she showered with Pere Egbi known as generl  while in the reality show.

    Uriel revealed that Pere is naturally endowment, saying he is indeed “a general”.

    The 35-year-old entertainer disclosed this in a recent chat with DSTV’s Miz Vick.

    She said, “Pere is packing o [heavily endowed]. We showered together. I saw it [his private parts] and I turned my face quickly. I had to speak in tongue.

    “He is really a General.”

    BBNaija All Stars: How Uriel’s time ended in Big Brother’s house

    Uriel, one of the housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show has been evicted.

    This was announced by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host of the show, during the live eviction show on Sunday.

    Obi-Uchendu revealed Seyi and Uriel as the housemates with the least number of votes of  1.70 per cent and 2.00 per cent respectively.

    The housemates who were up for possible eviction were: Whitemoney, Pere, Venita, Frodd, Mercy, Cross, Seyi, Uriel, Alex, Ilebaye, Tolanibaj, Doyin, Angel, Soma, Neo, Ceece and Adekunle.

    The trio of Teddy A, Laycon and Diana, the jury for the night, unanimously selected Uriel to be evicted from the show.

    Uriel, who is the second housemate to be evicted on the show, said “I am open to more brands. I have a restaurant already, so am going to make it fully operational.

    “I am an hussler and I am going to continue the hussle vibe.”

    The “All Stars” season of the show began July 23 with 20 housemates.

    Two housemates have so far been evicted from the show.

    Recall that Uriel had confessed to Biggie in the diary room on Tuesday that she is attracted to spmeone in the house.

    However, when asked to mention the name of the person, the 35-year-old said she can’t, stressing that she is way older than the person.

    On Wednesday Pere and Uriel shared their first kiss in the House.

    However, all eyes are still on Mercy and Ike to see if both lovers  will reignite their romance as presented in season 4.

    Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars housemate, Uriel Oputa has vowed to create commotion if kicked out of the Big Brothe’s house on Sunday.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Uriel made the vow, daring Big Brother, when she appeared in her first diary session on Tuesday

    The fitness enthusiast said that she intends to be the first housemate in the history of the show to reject eviction from the house.

    When Big Brother asked her who she thinks might get evicted first, Uriel who hoped not to be evicted said that she would create a scene if she is kicked out.

    Her conversation with Biggie went:

    Biggie questioned: “Who do you think is leaving on Sunday?”

    Uriel answered: “I pray it is not me because you will be needing 25 ninjas to carry me out. I will not go. I will be the first housemate in Big Brother Naija history to reject eviction. Not my portion.”

    TNG reports Monday’s nominations in the house were fake and there will be no eviction on Sunday.

    Uriel Ngozi Oputa threatened to protest naked in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 8 house on Sunday.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Uriel threatened to protest naked over the absence of her luggage.

    The See Gobbe season housemate had wanted to change the outfit with which she entered the house.

    However, Big Brother was yet to deliver her luggage to the house.

    “I need to change. Where is my luggage? I will go naked. God help me not to go naked,” the fitness enthusiast said.

    Earlier, Uriel revealed she returned to the BBNaija house because she has improved mentally and physically.

    She also revealed she is searching for a fine 6 ft 3 husband with broad shoulders.

    Outspoken reality TV star, Uriel Oputa has reconciled with her friend on BBNaija, a reality TV show she was part of in 2017.

    An excited Uriel took to her Instagram page on Saturday, saying they didn’t talk for almost two years.

    In her words:”After almost 2 years of not talking. I finally sent my @officialgiftypowers a DM I can’t lie I feel so relieved im not cut out for war sha. sorry goes a long way!! shes a special one❤️❤️ Omo our break up Pain me shaaaaa

    As at the time of filing this report, Gifty was yet to respond to her statement.

     

    In an interview, Uriel had said lesbians woo her a lot.

    “I’ve had somebody approach me; she just wanted to be friendly with me. You know, how you meet a friend at a salon and so on… and the phone conversation turned from her looking for a house and all sorts of things to I like your hips.”
