The reality star via her Instagram story disclosed that the last few days were particularly hard being that she was the only one looking after her mother.

She stated that she has let go of any grudge towards her mother for not being present during significant and important moments of her life.

Uriel pointed out that even though her mother’s sickness hindered her from being productive in some parts of her life, she has found comfort in thinking about her path to forgiveness.

She shared that she has come to forgive herself for how she reacted to her mother’s condition and also she expressed her new interest in health awareness and prevention, wanting to help others avoid similar challenges.

These last few days have been incredibly hard. Yesterday, I fed my mother breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which meant I couldn’t get to anything else. It left me feeling unproductive, but it reminded me of one of the biggest things I’ve overcome: forgiveness.

“I  had to forgive my mother. I forgave her for not taking her high blood pressure medication on time. Something that might have prevented her stroke and eventually, her vascular dementia. I forgave her for likely not being here when I have children and for not being able to do our traditional rites when a woman gives birth. And I forgave myself for the way I’d acted at times, knowing she wouldn’t be there. Over the years, I realized I was carrying a lot of anger, and I finally let it go.

“This experience is why I’m so passionate about speaking on health and prevention. I want to make sure others don’t go through what I’m going through now. Because it’s fucking hard. I just want the old times”. She wrote.
