    Former Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate, Uriel Ngozi Oputa has slammed those who condemn her mode of dressing, adding that she is bold and beautiful.

    Uriel, whose mother has dementia – a sickness that causes a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life said she is proud of her body despite being intensely criticised.

    The curvy singer had posed a video where she is seen rocking a wig for a lifestyle brand. However she was bashed by some of her fans for exposing just too much.

    Uriel is not new to the pangs of body-shaming.

    On January 30, 2018,she was slammed on Instagram after she posted a really sexy leg revealing photo.

    “Big fat, Black, cow leg, tree trunk… I saw the comments .I love it ..if I use this leg to kick o they go end up in Oguta lake with fishing net. I am proud of my body, I am a proud African woman, I am proud of my big saggy boobs, these boobs will feed my children,” Uriel revealed

    Uriel Oputa rose to prominence as one of the contestants at the 2017 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show. The graduate of Bedfordshire University in the United Kingdom where she obtained a degree in creative writing has said her greatest fear now is getting married.

    Uriel who has a crush on renowned Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua reemphasized on her love for him.

    Speaking during a chat with Net TV, she said:” My fear now is will Anthony Joshua ever call me? Will I ever get married”?

    According to her: ”Teddy is a cute guy, he is tall, I am also a tall woman. He is already taken, so Bambam don’t come and box me”.

    When asked about the kind of sacrifices she made to get to the level she is , the curvy entertainer said:”Charly Boy is my uncle and he inspired me in a very huge way. I was encouraged by what he had achieved with his entertainment career. However, I wouldn’t say that anybody really paved the way for me in the entertainment industry. I struggled for everything and where I am now. I made sacrifices like everybody else, and it took me about 10 years to get to this spot. Meanwhile, this is nowhere close to where I want to be. I believe I still have a long way to go” she revealed in a chat with Punch.

    On how BBNaija changed her life, she said:”Big Brother was a very great experience for me. I enjoyed every aspect of the show and I am so happy that I was able to make new friends. It is a great platform; so, it has done a lot to boost my profile”.
