    do this.”

Hours ago, Williexo revealed that M.I has also hinted him that he’s ready to go but will need to speak to his team first.

Willie XO wrote “I’ve spoken to M.I and he said he’s gonna get back to me after speaking with his team”

“Vector is ready so I’m waiting for M.I to get back to me like he promised. also, if both parties agree I’m ready to drop the winner take all angle and go for a split of the mulla, let’s go” he added.

  • Again! Vector slams Samklef

Olanrewaju Ogunmefun a.k.a Vector has slammed Nigerian music producer, Samklef over downplaying the importance of lyrics in contemporary Nigerian music.

The drama started when Samklef stated that Nigerians don’t want good lyrics, adding that they just want to dance.

Samklef wrote on Twitter: “Lyrics no dey sell for naija we just want party and Dey alright. Simple hook repeat am twice everybody sing along”.

Vector who was displeased by Samklef’s statement, condemned his colleague for misinforming his followers.

He wrote: “Sam you no get sense for this talk.No dey mislead people with funny talk. You say naija problem no be lyrics.Na thief , sense of greed”

In recent times, Vector has been in a rap war with the former CEO of Chocolate City, a feud that has seen them both put out diss tracks and strategically tackle each other with their lyrical prowess.

In his current diss track dedicated to M.I, Vector said accused Abaga of playing down on a brother (Jesse Jags), and thereafter “evicting” and making him move from Lagos to Ondo and then to Port Harcourt.

    Vector fires back at M.I

    Calls him ‘Judas’

Nigerian rapper, Vector has released ‘Judas The Rat’, a new vengeful song addressed to MI Abaga, another rapper and record label boss.

TheNewsGuru recalls that Vector and M.I have been engulfed in a rift that has seen them both put out diss tracks .
Vector’s ‘Judas the rat’ captures the rapper accusing and taunting M.I for playing down on a brother (Jesse Jags), and thereafter “evicting” and making him move from Lagos to Ondo and then to Port Harcourt.

Vector also revealed in the song that he has helped more artistes with his platform as a renowned musician without initiating record deals or charging fees, unlike Abaga who, according to him, “flosses like a chairman in Lagos” while only “scratching on the surface.”

“See, I don’t know about you but I’m the only number one. Jesse Jags, you’re my buddy. I couldn’t do this in a hurry. But the truth about your brother is blurry. In this sermon, I’ll say some uncomfortable facts to show his fans their goat is really a rat,” vector said.

“[Abaga,] Let’s start the lecture with the brace yourself. I know if you encountered you, you’ll hate yourself. Who are the rappers that I put on? Many more plus two out of your three and I didn’t sign anything. I did it all for free since you were scratching on the surface like your DJ Lambo. How about the guns I brought to help one become Rambo.
“I don’t do politics music leaving people suffering behind. You call yourself a teacher but your students fail real life. Your brother was such a gift, you rapped away from real light. I mean, you claim to help people who are struggling to make it. Mmm, well Jesse is struggling.

“Your brother went from Lagos to Ondo then to Jos. Choc City went down from all that fuckboy antics. The last I checked, Jesse was in a Choc Boy mansion. But since your Big Brother evicting him is part of the game. You didn’t care about your father, the one you both share his name. And now you tryna be my father, that’s what he said.”

  • M.I slams Vector, calls him serpent

M.I slams Vector, calls him serpent

It is no longer news that Nigerian rappers, M.I and Vector are in not in good terms. The rivalry between both rappers started over 10 years ago.

A few weeks ago, Nigerian rapper, M.I. Abaga replied Vector on ‘Martell Cypher: Purification.’ Vector again attacked M.I. on his version of Hennessy Cypher 2019.

As expected M. I has recorded his own diss track targeted at Vector. The tune is titled ‘Viper’.

The self-proclaimed ‘Short black boy’ took to his Instagram page not just to announce the release of the song , but to also open up on Vector’s beef for him

M.I wrote:” The Viper has hated me for years as is its inevitable nature. The serpent has been thus since the beginning of time. Would always smile in my face but I could smell the envy and bitterness. Whatever he may use as his excuse for his career long actions it is simply jealousy beneath it all.

“This is why his career has never quite taken off and he has never lived up to his obvious potential. Search my tweets, or interviews you will see me praising him over the years, how come he has never said one good thing about me.. ever. Instead of responding in hate I have chosen to give the snake the secret to my success.. ‘help people’.

“You are the only rapper that has done nothing to bring anyone else up.. from your first producer LayLow to your former manager Michael (who now works for CC btw) to AQ your friend that year.. all you do is use people.. Olamide has given so many a platform, Ice Prince the same, Falz just an all round angel, Reminisce bringing up young legends.. don’t even compare yourself to me.. I am a fucking industry on my own!! see this is why you have always been a tier beneath the rap aristocracy! Because you are a jealous and envious person. Your fans are great sha.. because despite it they love you so much.. I pray you open your heart and let the message from God through me in.. it is time for you to live up to your full potential.. to enlarge your coast my son..enlarge your heart ♥️your music brand and career will blossom”.

  • Politicians have disappointed a lot of entertainers- Vector

Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun a.k.a Vector has said politicians have disappointed a lot of entertainers.

The ‘King Kong’ rapper made this known in a chat with Hip TV.

In his words: “When you have done political campaigns such that politicians have disappointed you a lot of times you’ll figure out that maybe we all just need to do better,” he said.

“Because some people are still giving them Lamba (money), many artistes turn their evergreen jams into political campaign songs.

“They are old enough to know the consequences of such actions. Who am I to judge them.”

Asked about the upsurge of piracy in the Nigerian entertainment industry, the 34-year-old rapper explained that politicians themselves alongside the government are not doing enough for the music industry.

“The music industry is thriving by itself. Imagine if you didn’t have to deal with piracy. You’ll most likely not have artistes who are begging for money when they’re sick because their royalties would be in place,” he explained.

“This is why a lot of my songs are way more digital and on different platforms like Apple, Spotify and others because that is where you’ll go and have access to the numbers. Nobody in Alaba (market) is trying to show me my real numbers.”

TheNewsGuru recalls that Vector had slammed M.I Abaga over his 2017 song, ‘You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives’, where Abaga had complained that his colleagues were “underperforming”.

In his reaction, Vector described MI Abaga’s assertion as a “super lie”.

“It’s fine, you can call rappers wack, you can call them anything but I will stand by it any day any time, don’t wash your dirty linen in public,” Vector said during a Cool FM interview.

“Nobody should come and say that is why South African rappers are killing Nigerian rappers. That is such a huge thing to say. That takes it to another level. That is a super lie.

“Whoever is saying that knows that the South African environment… for example, I am there in SA and giving them bars, and the first thing I hear is where can I buy your music whereas the general public in Nigeria is where can I download your music.

There is a different culture. They have pushed hip hop to a level where the acceptance is very general”, he said in an interview.

“What are you doing to fix up other rappers’ lives to make that a culture as it is meant to be? Are you doing because you want relevance? Are you doing it because you want to make some noise?

“No offence, I don’t know what the moves are but the only problem I have with that song is you can’t say that’s why this region is killing this region. I don’t think it should be said. I think it is very disrespectful on a very very next level.”

  • I and Vector share a strong chemistry-Seyi Shay

I and Vector share a strong chemistry-Seyi Shay

Ever since Seyi Shay and Vector starred in the anticipated movie, Lara and the Beat, there have been speculations that the two musicians could be in a relationship.

However, the singer debunked the claims in a recent chat with Punch, adding that she has known Vector before they became known musicians.

“I have a long and exciting history with Vector before the music and movie. He was one of the reasons I stayed in Nigeria to do music.

When I first came to Nigeria, he was the first friend I made in the music industry. He really helped me understand the Nigerian music and told me things I didn’t know at a time. I featured him on the remix of Irawo. I am happy it was him I played a movie role with. It was very easy working with him because I know him well. I don’t know anything about being in a relationship with Vector, but I definitely think Lara and the Beat is a movie worth watching because we both share a strong chemistry.”

  • Why I am not happy with MI-Vector

Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, aka Vector tha Viper, is no doubt one of the most talented rappers we have in Nigeria. The rapper has however revealed that he is not happy with MI’s controversial song, You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives.

Vector noted that MI shouldn’t have compared South African rappers to the rappers in Nigeria.

Hear him: “No matter how much your parents flog you, they will not tell outsiders that you are a stupid child. He doesn’t have to say it openly that SA rappers are ‘killing’ Nigerian rappers. I have never said this before, but the simple truth is that we shouldn’t wash our dirty linen in public. It is fine to discipline people at home and I support that. If your children mess up, you can discipline them.

“When Jay-Z released the Death of Auto-Tune, he addressed everyone and said they should all go back to rap music. He didn’t say a group of rappers is doing better than one group. I didn’t like the fact that he called out Nigerian rappers openly and was comparing us with SA rappers.”
