    Video: Boko Haram showcases everyday life in Sambisa, vows to fight on

    Boko Haram sect has released a new video, vowing to sustain the battle with the country.

    The deadly group highlights the everyday life of their members in the 29-minute video which was said to have been shot in Sambisa forest.

    Recall TheNewsGuru.com had earlier published certain reports detailing that the insurgents have found their way back to Sambisa forest, despite several claims from the federal government which insinuates that the area has been captured by the Nigeria military.

    In fact, Tukur Buratai, the chief of army staff, supposedly held the Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship in Sambisa forest to consolidate the army’s grip on the area.

    In this latest video, the sect captured some of the daily activities of the group – how they process some of their foods, buy commodities and showcased armed members of the sect rode on motorcycles, while some were some were seen taking training on gun handling.

    One of the Boko Haram members who spoke in Kanuri dialect disputed the claim of the military that the group had been defeated. He said the militants have been living well in the forest.“You can see that we are doing well and living fine. Look at our crops, they are growing well,” he said.

  • Suspected Badoo member caught after invading nursery school in Mushin

    Suspected member of Badoo cult has been caught after he stole into a nursery school in Mushin, Lagos State.

    The suspect, an 18-year-old man, Fred Minima, reportedly had the logo of the cult on his left hand.

    He allegedly entered the premises of the nursery and primary school with the intention to kidnap some pupils.

    He was charged before an Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, on Monday, for allegedly belonging to a cult group, Badoo.

    Minima, who resides at Akala area of Mushin, is facing three counts of attempted kidnap, belonging to an unlawful society and stealing.

    He pleaded ‘not guilty’ to all the charges.

    But Police Prosecutor, Maria Dauda, insisted that the accused committed the offences on July 26 at 11.10 a.m. at No. 25, Akinola St., Mushin.

    The Magistrate, Mrs. O.O.A. Fowowe-Erusiafe, in her ruling, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000, with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case until August 29 for mention.

    Embattled Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has been campaigning lately on domestic violence. The actress on Thursday shared the screenshot of a conversation she once had with her husband on Instagram , pleading with him to stop assaulting her. In the conversation, Lanre Gentry had promised to stop molesting her, but eventually the same domestic violence saga led to the crash of their marriage.

     

     

    In her words:” Why will a man who obviously beat his wife, try so much to deny what he did? My take is because he knows what he did is wrong and apparently he is ashamed and cannot own up to it…… Let us be very careful of what we do especially when we are angry as we might not know the consequences of that action.Violence like I keep saying does not and will not solve anything, let us learn to control our anger at all times

    “Arguments are bound to happen between couples but under no circumstances should we let it result to violence! Nobody has a right to hit, his or her partner regardless”

    The 38-year-old actress who shared the video of her battered face to campaign against violence said: “Violence is not an option! It is inhumane and shouldn’t be condoned #saynotodomesticviolence #noshameinmypain #speakout. Battery and assault is a crime punishable under the law!”

    TheNewsGuru reports that in 2013 the couple, debunked rumours of domestic violence after Gentry was accused of behaving in a violent manner towards the actress whom he supposedly caught in a compromising position.

  • Boko Haram releases video, threatens to behead Cameroonian President, Biya

    The deadly terrorist group, Boko Haram has released a new video threatening to cause mayhem and behead Cameroonian President Paul Biya.

    “I would behead you Paul Biya, it’s me that would behead you with the left hand, be ready,” a Boko Haram commander said in French displaying Biya’s picture in a news magazine.

    The man later drops the magazine and crushes Biya’s face with his leg, saying “I would behead you, imbecile, sluggard!”.

    He said he would decapitate Biya with the left hand, and called him a bigger Christian.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that Biya is a catholic who regularly attends church service in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon.

    The terrorist warns residents of other parts of Cameroon that the Boko Haram members were on their way to invade the country.

    He warned residents of Maroua, Cameroon’s far north capital, and those in the northern region capital of Garoua, and Ngaoundere that fighters were coming.

    Shooting could be heard in the background of the 6-minute clip.

    The Boko Haram commander shows shoes, helmets and other military items he claimed belonged to Cameroonian soldiers.

    “These are their shoes they left behind, these are their helmets they left behind, these are their mats for prayers they left behind.


    “We are ready to arrive. We are on our way to Maroua, Garoua and Ngaoundere,” he said, naming three capital in northern Cameroon.

    “We are on our way to Ebolowa, Yaounde, we will arrive in God’s name,” he added, mentioning the capital of President Paul Biya’s region in the South and the country’s capital itself in Yaounde.

    The man displayed identity cards belonging to Cameroonian citizens.

    One of the identity cards he placed closer to the camera, in his words, belongs to the minister of defence.

    TheNewsGuru.com reports that no fewer than 150 Cameroonian soldiers and policemen have been killed by Boko Haram while over 2000 civilians have lost their lives since 2014 in several attacks, including suicide bombings.

    In Nigeria, more than 30,000 people have been murdered by members of Boko Haram and over 2million civilians in Northeastern region displaced.
