    Trending: Wife kills husband’s 17-year old fiancee out of jealousy in Kano

    A housewife identified as Suwaiba Shuaibu has allegedly killed her husband’s fiancee, 17-year-old Aisha Kabir in Gimawa Village, Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State few days to their wedding.

    The husband, Shahrehu Alhaji Ali and his fiancee, Aisha (all residents of the same area) were said to be in a serious relationship for over six years and scheduled to tie the knot on 9th January 2021 before the ugly incident happened.

    It was gathered that the housewife, Suwaiba (second wife) got wind of the planned wedding ceremony and lured the proposed new bride (late Aisha) to an uncompleted building in the neighbourhood where she stabbed her to death.

    The police spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna who confirmed the incident to newsmen in the state, said the command received a complaint from the deceased’s father, Kabiru Jafaru that his daughter who had suddenly gone missing on New year’s day was found dead.

    DSP Haruna said upon receiving the complaint, the CP Habu Sani ordered his officers to immediately swing into action, leading to the arrest of the suspect, Suwaiba, who had confessed to having carried out the atrocity out of jealousy.

    According to him, “On 02/01/2021, at about 1030hrs, we received a complaint from one Kabiru Jafaru, of Gimawa Village, Doguwa LGA of Kano State, that the body of his 17-year old daughter, Aisha Kabir, who got missing on 01/01/2021 was found in an uncompleted building in their neighbourhood.

    The complainant said the victim was suspected to have been stabbed on her neck by her killer(s).

    “Upon receiving the complaint, the scene was visited and the body was evacuated to Tudun Wada General Hospital for examination by a Medical Doctor. The Commissioner of Police Kano State Command, CP Habu A. Sani, further raised and instructed a team of detectives, led by DPO Doguwa, CSP Bala Shuaibu, to arrest the culprit(s).

    “The team immediately swung into action and apprehended one Suwaiba Shuaibu, 20 years old and who is a second wife to one Shahrehu Alhaji Ali, all of the same address with the complaint. “Investigations revealed the deceased and the husband of the suspect have been in a proposed relationship for over six years and their wedding ceremony was scheduled to hold on the 9th January 2021.

    “During interrogation, the suspect freely confessed she had called the victim on phone, deceived and lured her to an uncompleted building in their neighbourhood where she used a sharp knife to stab her on her neck, chest and other parts of her body. She disclosed she killed the victim out of jealousy because her husband proposed to marry her.

    “As directed by the Commissioner of Police, CP Sani, the case has been transferred to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Homicide Section, for discrete investigation. “The suspect will be charged to court at the completion of the investigation,” DSP Haruna however stated.

    Uganda Presidential Candidate, Bobi Wine, wife’s phones allegedly blocked

    Uganda presidential hopeful, Bobi Wine, has alleged that his phone line and that of his wife were ‘blocked’ and they were unable to receive or make calls.

    Wine disclosed this in a tweet on Thursday evening.

    “Like my wife’s, my phone has been blocked and I am unable to recieve or make regular calls. I know this is to stop me from communicating to our agents and coordinators. I encourage you comrades to be vigilant as I try to devise ways of reaching out to you. #WeAreRemovingADictator,” he tweeted.‬

    Polls have closed and vote counting is under way in Uganda’s tense presidential election that pits longtime President Yoweri Museveni against Wine, a pop star-turned-opposition leader.

    The run-up to Thursday’s vote was plagued by the worst political violence in years, with more than 50 people killed by security forces amid crackdowns on opposition rallies, as well as the repeated intimidation and arrest of opposition figures. Police say their actions are necessary to ensure compliance with COVID-19 restrictions.

    Internet access has been cut off, and there are fears of unrest as security forces try to stop supporters of Wine from monitoring polling stations.

    Man kills mother, wounds father for sending wife away

    An Indian man Tammu Raghavaiah attacked his parents, killed his mother instantly and fatally wounded his father in a fit of rage, police said on Wednesday.

    Tammu attacked his parents with a log, furious with them for sending away his wife who had returned to him after three years of leaving him, the police said.

    While Tammu’s mother Veeralankamma died on the spot, his father Nageswara Rao is in criticial condition at the Machilipatnam hospital where he was taken to, according to the police.

    The police said that the incident took place in India’s Edurumondi village located in Nagayalanka mandal of Andhra Pradesh.

    Nagayalanka circle inspector B Ravi Kumar said: “We came to Edurumondi village on receiving the information.

    ”Mother (of Tammu Veera) Veeralankamma died on the spot. Father Nageswara Rao’s position is critical. We have shifted him to Machilipatnam hospital.”

    The circle inspector also said that Veera left his mother’s body on a cot in a room and fled.

    ”A case is filed against Tammu Veera Raghavaiah under section 302 and 307 of IPC.

    ”Police is searching for him and the investigation is underway,” Nagayalanka sub-inspector K Srinivas said.

    Sad! Married woman found dead in boyfriend’s house after marathon sex

    A certain woman identified as Siphilisiwe Nokomo is dead.

     

    She lost her life in the house of her younger lover. The woman, 41 years of age, died after long hours of marathon sex in Mpopoma, a small town near Buwalayo in Zimbabwe.

     

    The cause of the sudden death of the wife is yet to be known but police revealed that they are waiting for the results of the post mortem examination to be conducted on the deceased in order to help them in their investigations.

    “I can confirm that a woman identified as Siphilisiwe Nokomo, 41, of Mpopoma was pronounced dead on arrival at Mpilo Central Hospital. We are now waiting for post-mortem results to establish the cause of death,” the Bulawayo Provincial Police Spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube disclosed.

    Alleged Fulani gunmen kill Benue lawyer, wife

    Alleged gunmen on Tuesday night attacked Agboughul community in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, and killed a legal practitioner, his wife and a blind old man.

    The victims were identified as Moses Udam, Mrs Nkechi Udam and Nyikyor Mazugu.

    Three persons, comprising two children of the blind and a sister to the deceased lawyer, were injured in the attack.

    The killers, who were eight in number were said to have attacked Agboughul around 11pm and also ransacked the neighborhood where they collected N200,000 from one Amaa Atee.

    According to Atee, “The gunmen who spoke English and Fulani languages stormed the community between 11pm and midnight.

    “The first place they visited was the thatched house of the old blind man where they killed the elderly man. It was his children who were able to escape that raised the alarm.

    “I learnt they later went to the lawyer’s house where they vandalised his house and killed him and the wife. My wife ran away while I climbed the ceiling and left behind my children.

    “When they arrived at my house, they met the two grown-up children and asked where their father was; and they told them I was not around.”

    The Benue State Police Command, which confirmed the invasion in a brief statement by its spokesperson, Catherine Anene, said, “Gunmen attacked Agboghul village, Makurdi, claimed the lives of two persons. One person is receiving treatment at BSUTH. Policemen deployed to forestall further breach of peace.”

    The State Governor, Samuel Ortom, who was at the scene of the attack on Wednesday, described the attackers as terrorists.

    The governor, who recalled that a few days ago, some persons were killed in Makurdi, added, “There is no way we can compromise having law against open grazing and the law is not targeted at any ethnic group.

    “Benue State under my watch will not succumb to Fulani jihadist no matter the intimidation. Let them know that the day of reckoning is very near. We are not going to be provoked,” the governor said.

    Channels TV has commenced an investigation of the wife battery report against its Benue reporter, Pius Angbo, saying it is investigating it.

    In a response to a viral video, in which Ifeanyinwa, the medical doctor wife of Angbo, accused him of battery, the TV station said it will take appropriate action after the probe.

    “Channels Television does not condone violence against women or anyone in general.

    “The domestic violence matter reported against one of our reporters is being investigated and appropriate action will be taken”, it tweeted on Sunday.

    In the viral video, Ifeanyinwa , who is based in Owerri said Pius, has repeatedly been beating her up.

    Ifeanyinwa mentioned that they have 4 kids, and that through out their 6 years of marriage, Pius beats her up even when she is pregnant, and even sits on her tummy.

    Popular singer, Duncan Mighty has taken to social media to allege that his wife and family members are planning to attack him with an illness.

    ‘The Fake Love’ crooner in a lengthy post shared on his Instagram page said that his wife and mother of his two children confessed to him that she connived with her family members to try and inflict him with an illness through diabolical means just so they can inherit his properties.

    BREAKING: Amotekun, hunters rescue abducted wife of Akeredolu’s Chief of Staff

    Barely two days after her abduction, the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Ondo State governor, Olugbenga Ale, has regained her freedom.

    Recall TheNEwsGuru (TNG) had earlier reported that Mrs Ale, alongside one other person, were kidnapped on Thursday evening along the Ondo-Akure Expressway while travelling from Lagos to Akure.

    It was, however, gathered that the victims were rescued on Saturday morning by men of the Ondo State Security Network also known as Amotekun Corps in collaboration with local hunters and vigilante in the area.

    The Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, who confirmed the release of Mrs Ale to newsmenH, said it was too early to disclose details of the rescue operation.

    He said, “We thank God for the achievement, it was not easy. But we are are able to arrest some persons in connection with the matter.”
