    Ebony skinned Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has defended the marriage of her colleague, Yul Edochie, to his second wife, Judy Austin.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) that Yul has faced overwhelming public criticism and hateful social media comments over his second marriage.

    Speaking In an interview on ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, Yvonne stated many netizens criticising Yul’s second marriage come from polygamous families.

    According to the thespian, the movie star has done nothing wrong with his marriage to Judy.

    Yvonne Jegede questioned why people were still insulting Yul over his choice of a second marriage while making Regina Daniel’s marriage a praying point and wished to get marital advice from her.

    She said, “You see this Yul Edochie ehnnn, 99% of people abusing him are from second wives, third wives, fourth wives ahd fifth wives. Sometimes wife that the family doesn’t know about.

    “Let us stop being silly on the internet. I don’t see anything he has done wrong. I no dem go tear me to pieces when this interview gets uploaded. Why are you guys cursing him and making Regina Daniels your prayer point, only she fit advise you for marriage.”

    Nollywood actor cum pastor, Yul Edochie has urged people in marriages that is not walking to leave and look for something else.

    The 42 year-old actor shared his thought on marriage and divorce in a recent interview with White Pearl Studios.

    Edochie opined that it is okay to walk out of a marriage if it is not working, adding that people can decide to marry 50 times if they choose to.

    The controversial actor argued that when it comes to marriage, it is one’s personal happiness that matters and not public opinion.

    He noted that it is also okay to stay unmarried if it makes one happy.

    According to him, “For me, marriage is not a do or die thing. If you see it is not working, walk away respectfully. You don’t have to hurt each other. And when you walk away and you see the next person and you decide to marry, go ahead and marry. If e no work again, go. If you see another one, marry. If e no work again, go. You can marry 50 times as long as it works for you.

    “You can’t control how people react towards you. And what makes me happy is different from what makes you happy. Don’t let anybody tell you what’s good for you. Find out what works for you. And if you decide in this life that you will not marry till you die, please do. Be Happy.”

    Nollywood actress, Sarah Martins, has called out her colleague, Yul Edochie, for alleged stealing.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Martins via a post on her Instagram story, shared a screenshot of Facebook notification informing her that the actor is collecting ad earnings from her video posted on the platform.

    Reacting to the notification she received, Sarah described Yul as ‘a better thief’, wondering if he was that broke.

    The thespian then admonished Edochie to open his mouth and beg Nigerians for money so he would not die of hunger.

    She wrote, “This guy na better thief, na so the owuite hold you?? Open your mouth beg oo, make Nigeria gather contribute money for you, make hunger for no kee you.”

    Actress Sarah Martin’s post caused several reactions as netizens call her out over an unhealthy obsession for the actor.

    Reacting, one user, Kairex Glitz wrote, “You use his picture or video to catch cloth and cash out; he is smarter. I support him on this one.”

    Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has reacted to the prayer of her senior colleague, Yul Edochie to her and her husband, Ned Nwoko on their 5th wedding anniversary.

    The couple with a joint heartfelt post via Instagram commemorated the milestone by sharing a clip from an indoor photoshoot featuring their two children.

    In the video, the couple donned an elegant white attire, with the 23-year-old actress adorned in radiant red beads and Nwoko, who represents Delta North at the Senate, in a matching red cap.

    In a message shared on her Instagram page, the actress expressed her gratitude for their remarkable journey of marital bliss and also extended her prayers to God, seeking  many more years of love, peace, blessing in their union.

    Sharing a video clip of herself and her husband on Instagram Reels, Regina Daniels captioned: “Happy 5th anniversary my love. It had indeed been a remarkable 5 years of marital bliss with so much to show for it. We give all glory to God and pray for many more years to celebrate in love, peace, care and respect.

    Amongst celebrities who congratulated the actress is, Yul, who took to his Instagram page to share a photo of the couple, after which celebrated them on their marital milestone.

    He also wished the couple more happy years, praying that joy, peace and progress never leaves their dwelling.

    He wrote: “Big congratulations on your 5th wedding anniversary. Senator Prince Ned Nwoko @regina.danielsWish you many more happy years together. May joy, peace and progress never seize in your home”.

    Reacting, the mother of two appreciated him for the post, with a resounding ‘amen’ to his prayers.

    Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has explained that he has forgiven his late colleague, Junior Pope for allegedly “backstabbing” him.

    Recall that Edochie recently accused the late actor of backstabbing him, claiming that the late actor betrayed him despite being there for him in times of need.

    He added that he refused to mourn the late actor because of the alleged betrayal.

    Edochie’s  claims and revelations earned backlash, with many including his aunty, Rita Edochie, berating him for holding grudges against the late actor.

    However, the actor has now revealed that he has forgiven  Jnr Pope, but was deeply hurt by the alleged betrayal.

    The actor took to his Instagram account to explain that he has forgiven the late actor.

    “Speaking about forgiveness. I forgive him completely. It hurts deeply when a friend you love, took like a brother, stood for and shown love over the years turns around to stab you in the back repeatedly without remorse.

    “Sadly, that’s the world we live. Humans are filled with flaws. To err is human, to forgive is divine. I forgive him & wish his family the very best.” He wrote

    Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has claimed that his late colleague, Junior Pope, betrayed him repeatedly while he was alive despite  the fact that he was there for him in his times of need.

    According to Edochie, it was the reason he shunned the late actor’s burial in Enugu State on Friday.

    Continuing, the actor said he wanted to wait till after Junior Pope’s burial before he reveal how the late actor betrayed him.

    He promised the full story of how Junior Pope betrayed him soon.

    On his Instagram story, Edochie wrote: “I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I wasn’t there. Why I haven’t said anything about it since.

    “I took him like a brother & good friend. I was there for him when he needed me. But he stabbed me in the back repeatedly. That’s life!

    “I’ll drop the full details soon so others can learn from it.

    “Be careful what you wish people, it could come to you.”

    It would be recalled that Junior Pope died on April 10, 2024, alongside three others after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film location.

    The movie star shared a picture of himself wearing an attire with Tinubu’s name and face, as he revealed that he is not the type of supporter who backs down when things are not going as planned.

    Yul Edochie added his love for Mr President is rock solid as he revealed that he will continue to pray for him to succeed and that he will definitely succeed.

    Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stated reasosn Wizkid has been ranting on social media.

    According to Edochie, Wizkid’s recent social media outburst was due to the pain of losing his mother.

    Recall that Wizkid set social media platform, X on fire recently after shading Don Jazzy and engaging in a heated exchange with Davido.

    Reacting, Edochie stated that the Starboy Entertainment boss’ outburst was due to psychological issues.

    Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page, the actor said: “Many people would not understand what is happening to Wizkid. But I will tell you, it’s the pain of losing his mother.

    “Wizkid is going through the pain of losing his mother. It’s a terrible pain. You see that pain of losing a loved one? It’s a terrible pain. It’s a pain that would make you question God. It’s a pain that would make you question life. It’s a pain that would make you throw caution to the wind. It’s a pain that would make you sometimes want to even take your life.

    “It’s a pain that would make you sometimes become even disrespectful and just say a lot of things. Its a pain that would even make you question your existence. You lose your mother and you lose your sanity. It’s a terrible pain. And that’s what is happening to Wizkid.

    “Unfortunately, we live in a world that would even gibe you more pain than love.”

    It would be  recalled that Wizkid’s mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, died on August 18, 2023 in London.

    The singer said the pain of losing his mum ‘hurts deeply’. He said, “The pain is profound.”

    Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie,  has cried out for aid following a fatal accident involving a movie director who sustained spinal cord injury.

    In a recent Instagram post, the actor claimed that JP Nwanganga, a Nollywood director, had been in a terrible accident and was without help.

    Yul Edochie appealed to Nigerians for aid in helping JP Nwanganga recover from his trauma, emphasising the severity of the issue.

    Describing JP as one of the most affable characters in the business, he advised well-meaning Nigerians not to wait until it was too late to offer their support, while also posting JP’s phone number on his social media platform.

    In his words;

    “Dear Nollywood and fans of Nollywood, one of our directors was involved in a fatal accident. I hear his spinal cord is broken. His name is JP Nwanganga.

    One of the coolest directors in Nollywood. PIs let us get him back to his feet by every means possible. Let’s not wait till he dies then we start posting pictures.

    In another post, he added the significant roles the movie director played in his life and also efforts to impact young talents in Ebonyi state.

    He is a good ambassador of Ebonyi State.

    He was involved in a ghastly accident.
