  • I married Yul Edochie’s 2nd wife when she was 19, now I want my two kids- Alleged ex-husband, Obasi

I married Yul Edochie’s 2nd wife when she was 19, now I want my two kids- Alleged ex-husband, Obasi

Obasi, the alleged ex-husband of Nollywood actress, Judy Austin– who is now married to Yul Edochie, has cried out for help over custody of his kids, stressing that she was at the age of 19 when they got married.

The father of two reached out to Cutie Jull’s blog, where he pleaded for help to access his kids.

Obasi revealed that at 29, he married Judy, who was 19 then, and they welcomed two beautiful children.

He disclosed how he spent heavily on Judy so she could have a degree.

Obasi claimed that Judy and Yul started dating in 2012 while still married to him.

He further claimed that Judy packed out of their house with the kids after he refused to buy her a house in Enugu.

Though he reported the incident to her parents, they made no budge.

Obasi added that though he had taken care of the kids when Judy and Yul wedded, she cut off all access from him.

The full statement reads: “So after the elders in Judy’s community called Mr Obasi about Yul’s intention to marry Judy. They asked him that they know Judy is his wife but Yul has come to inform them that he will be coming with his people on Sunday to pay Judy’s bride price so they want to know if he returned Judy’s bride price without the elders knowing.

“Mr Obasi says he told them about the incident that happened on 27th December 2017 and how Judy and Yul has been together since. He also used the opportunity to officially inform that about the fact that May has moved on with Yul since and they even have a child so this call they are calling him is not needed and all he wants is to have a good relationship with his kids.

“Fast forward, Judy’s husband says he has taken issue about having contacts with his children to Onitsha Human Rights, no better results. He has been to Ogidi Welfare still no avail.

“Mr Obasi wants to plead with Nigerians to help him tell Judy to allow him access for his kids. He is not comfortable with Judy raising these kids alone especially regarding so many things he saw during their marriage and the fact that Judy comfortably moved on with Yul without first divorcing him.

“He is begging Nigerian legal system to have mercy on him and give him justice of making Judy allow him access to his kids. He not as connected and as rich as Yul but he is the father of his two children with Judy and he doesn’t want Yul and Judy to bully him out of his parental rights.

“He says since 27th December 2012, he has never given Judy and Yul any trouble. He picked his broken heart in peace, he did not contend cuz Judy’s move proved she preferred Yul but for his children, they are his blood and he doesn’t want Yul to take them away from him…”.

Recall that the Nollywood actor had said marrying his second wife (Judy) was the best decision he has made in life.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Yul made this known while speaking in an online interview.

He described marrying Judy as the best decision he has ever made in his lifetime, stressing that he has always known that a day like this would come.

The actor had set tongues wagging on social media after he unveiled the birth of his son by Judy to the world.

He revealed that he didn’t seek his first wife’s permission to marry his new wife.

The Nollywood actor opined that the woman who does not respect you, will not respect you; and that the one who loves you and respects you, will be with you forever.

On the backlashes trailing the development, the actor said everybody can’t see things the way you do.

“A whole lot of people don’t know you but judge you from what they see,” he added.

Yul and his first wife, May Edochie have been married for 16 years. Their union is blessed with four children, three boys and a daughter.
