    Talented actress and mother of one has said she is ready to give marriage another shot.

    During an Instagram Live chat with Mr Paul, she gave conditions that would make her remarry.

    “I would want to remarry if I find somebody who would love me and love my child. Because, right now, my child is the most important person in my life. I wouldn’t want to marry someone who wouldn’t love my son as much as he would love his own child. He has to love my child 100%, love me too and then the feeling is mutual.

     

    “For my ex-husband, I am not a bitter woman. I am not the kind of woman who would swear for her husband or boyfriend if all didn’t go well. My house is open for my son’s dad to come and see him anytime. In my house, there’s a standing law; you don’t curse or insult my son’s father for any reason whatsoever. The fact that we are no longer married doesn’t mean I should go about laying curses (on him),” she stated.

    Jegede also stated that she went under the knife after the birth of her son.

    “Yes, I did surgery (liposuction) on my stomach after I had my son; so, that made me look curvier. I had the surgery here in Nigeria. I don’t have issues with anyone on earth; I do whatever I want with myself and body”.

    Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has debunked claims that she is dating popular singer, Orezi.
    The actress made this known while answering questions from fans during an Instagram live chat with a friend.
    According to Jegede, she has been friends with Orezi for a very long time and the viral video where she was spotted hugging him was taken while welcoming him to an event.
    “Orezi is my friend, like good good friend. I have known Orezi way before I got married. Orezi has been a very good, a fantastic human being and we are cool. We’ve never had anything sexual and it has never crossed our minds,” she said.
    “I can’t speak for him, but he has never said anything like ‘girl I like you’ and I respect him for that. Now if people now see a video of him hugging me and that was at Mercy Johnson’s movie premiere and I invited him. I was the only one he knew at the movie premiere. When he said he wanted to leave, it was only polite that I see him off”.

    However the actress noted in an interview that she doesn’t regret getting married to Fawole.

    In her words: “I do not regret my marriage to him. I have never regretted anything in my life. Every experience is something to learn from. There really is nothing for me to sit down and wish I didn’t do or should have done. Yes, I reverted to my original name on social media, but I am fine. Don’t I look alright?”

    Popular actress, Yvonne Jegede has opened up on the effects of the lockdown on Nigerians.

    Ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s lockdown extension order on Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun states, robberies were reported in different parts of the commercial city.

    Jegede noted that the lockdown is causing hunger, adding that petty thieves are everywhere.

    According to her: “With all the billions given out for this pandemic, just one person’s donation can go round. But you people have the effrontery to pocket everything. That money go purge una,” she wrote.

    “The lockdown is causing hunger. Petty thieves are everywhere. I hope the police still have their salaries because, who knows, they will start renting their guns to get money to feed their families.

    “Are authorities aware of the robberies? I’m certain they are. Locating citizens to give them cash for the lockdown isn’t going to be that difficult.

    “The same way you people go house to house to disconnect electrical power, you can share the money like that.

    “Soon, people doing giveaway will start looking for who to give them. Buhari and his cohorts should give people the money philanthropists gave to Nigerians. It is their money, you greedy old human beings.”

     

     

    The 36-year-old movie star also praised women and children that have had to grapple with domestic violence as a result of the lockdown.

    “If this situation doesn’t change your corrupt mindset, then Nigerians should pack their bags and start heading out to neighboring countries because this country is doomed,” the actress added.

    Nollywood actor, Olakunle Fawole, popularly known as Abounce has stated why he refused to react over the backlashes and criticisms, his ex-wife, actress Yvonne Jegede throw at him.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that Olakunle got married to Yvonne back in 2017.

    However, Jegede shocked many when she revealed that she quit her marriage three months after she was pregnant with her son.

    She said: “We started having issues before the birth of Xavier. I think I was about two to three months pregnant when the issues came. Immediately the issues came, there was never a dull moment, it just kept going up and up and it got worse and it got bad and today here we are.

    “Right now, we are not living together, and we are not living as husband and wife, we are not husband and wife anymore and I would say a mutual agreement to go our separate ways. It didn’t work out, it wasn’t working out.”

    Despite the allegations, Jegede levelled against Fawole, the actor kept mum on the issue of their separation.

    Sharing why he kept mum over Jegede’s allegations, Fawole said: ”I think I am just a calm person, that’s it, that’s why I choose to ignore them. I feel it is not worth it, there is no need. Well, I can say I am single for now,” he told independent.ng.

    Nollywood damsel, Yvonne Jegede has stated that herself and her son need nobody. Yvonne whose marriage to Abounce crashed in 2019 noted that time will heal all wounds.

    Jegede made this known in a chat with Punch.

    “I have kept my body, soul and spirit together and I have always being a positive person and constantly remain one. I don’t know where the energy, contentment or rest of mind comes from for me, I just know that it is factory-fitted. I don’t have to struggle for anything, no matter what problem I am having. I just breeze through.

    “There is one thing about life that I’m very sure about and it’s that time will heal all wounds— be it heartbreak, physical wounds or whatever one is passing through; it’s just a matter of time. My son is fine and I’m very excited about him. We are perfect together. It is a case of two peas in a pod and we don’t need anybody.”

    On how 2020 has been for her so far, the versatile actress said: “It has been a great year for me thus far. As a matter of fact, the first three months of this year have been way better than my entire life. I think that when one is patient, things would fall into place.I didn’t do anything differently; it was just grace of God that found me. I’m not in anybody’s space and I’m not threatened by anybody in the movie industry. However, I plan to really be in people’s faces this year. My resolution this year was to ‘ball’ and have fun but I think what I wanted is different from what God is throwing at me. I just wanted to have fun in 2020 but it’s been loss of work for me”.

    Actress, Yvonne Jegede has thrown a jab at trolls who bash her on social media over her failed marriage to Abounce Fawole.

    An irritated Jegede took to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, where she slammed those who have been attacking her on social media over her failed marriage.

    According to her, if anyone is bothered about her ex-husband, then the person should go ahead and get married to him.

    “If you come for me with insults based on my failed marriage, you plus the person you are standing for will hear from me. It is my failed marriage, not yours. If it hurts you that much, go ahead and marry him and give him the happiness you so wish him,” she said.

    I am not the type of woman anybody can intimidate. What you see is what you will get with me. If you must act like a fool, don’t do it here. I nor dey find trouble but I certainly like trouble.”

    Jegede’s statements might be connected to a recent photo she shared on Instagram which provoked a lot of people online.

    Recall that her marriage to rapper turned actor, Abounce hit the rocks in 2019 over infidelity issues.

    The mother of one also took some lines in Yoruba Language to let her admirers know that “we have gone and we are back” to mingle once again.
