Popular disc jockey (DJ) Cuppy has slammed her critics amid the reactions that trailed her lingering feud with Zlatan Ibile.Nigerians have continued to express their opinions ever since she said that Zlatan blocked her on social media.

The pair were previously on good terms and even collaborated on ‘Gelato‘, Cuppy’s 2019 hit song.

Zlatan also performed at Cuppy’s charity event held in Abuja in November that same year.

However, their relationship got frosty with Zlatan recently saying that he “does not know” Cuppy.

In a short post on Friday, Cuppy said she remains unruffled by the seeming “noise” making the rounds on social media in the wake of her face-off with Zlatan.

“I’ve learnt to kill them with kindness and rise above the noise!” she wrote.

Afeare Isreal, a personal logistics manager to Davido, had earlier claimed that Zlatan’s action was because the disc jockey did not “duly reward” him for his contributions to the success of ‘Gelato’ and Cuppy’s charity event.

Commenting on the trending issue on Friday via an Instagram post, Israel said Zlatan’s action was because the disc jockey did not “duly reward” him for his efforts.

“Kudos to someone like Zlatan, who took a bold step by flushing a full fake friend like Cuppy who was just using his head all in the name of my papa na Otedola. Zlatan did a hit collabo with her, ordinary one kobo, he no see,” he wrote.

“She also took Zlatan to Abuja for her fundraising where she made billions of naira and didn’t even remember Zee for one kobo until tomorrow. No accommodation, no feeding. Zlatan had to even spend his own personal money at Transcorp Hilton to carter for everyone including me. Dis na 2021 abeg”, he wrote.

However, as at the time of filing this report, Cuppy was yet to react to Israel’s claim.

“I went to shows and they wouldn’t let me perform. I’d go submit my CD but when it’s time to perform, the DJ doesn’t find it. Even when you perform, the DJ scratches after your first verse to signal one’s time’s up.

“It was university education that eventually helped me, although I didn’t gain admission in time. Before my first semester exams, a competition came up. I won a car, something nobody had owned before in my generation.

“I still had to use the car as a cab because, for three years, my music didn’t meet the success I was aiming at. Most of the time when I’m recording in the studio, it’s my adlib people see.

“Because when I do my adlib, it sounds like I’m making noise; as though a dog is barking. But it’s just the seasoning I’m adding to the soup. I always warn my friends not to video me but they don’t listen. I’ll soon sue them.”

Asked the policy changes he would make if he was made president, Zlatan said: “I’ll legalise weed so I’ll have weed farm in Nigeria because a lot of countries are making money from this thing. It’s not such a big deal as we think it.

“I’ll also embezzle money, pack all the money because that’s what our president and governors go there to do. I’ll pack my own share and hit the exit. I’ll fix the country but I’ll also embezzle money. That’s just the truth.”
