#FuelPriceHike: Angry Nigerians compare Buhari, Jonathan's administrations; say we have been scammed

[TNG Analysis] 2023: APC chasing former President Jonathan, Nigeria’s most beautiful bride @64

By Emman Ovuakporie
In less than 2 years from now, Nigerians must have known who will carry President Muhammadu Buhari’s left over burden.
The All Progressives Congress, APC is already positioning and repositioning towards retaining power in 2023 using all known and unknown applications to achieve this.
TheNewsGuru.com, (TNG) in this analysis takes a deeper look into the many forays of the ruling party to retain power by all means even if it means bringing a former President Goodluck Jonathan to run against his party the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The party that gave the former president a lease of life from being a deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President and eventually the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
It’s now the lot of the PDP that those they picked up and packaged are jumping ship, from Governor Dave Umahi to Governor Ben Ayade and others that the double mouthed Fani-Kayode is plotting to take along to the all powerful APC.
Jonathan as it’s in Nigeria today is the most beautiful bride at 64 and who once said old woods should give way to fresh woods while campaigning in 2015.
He is today the most sought after candidate to help APC give PDP enough headaches in 2023 since the party failed to reengineer and re-strategise to unbundle APC from Aso Rock.
But the question that is difficult to answer is whether Jonathan is actually qualified to run again as a presidential candidate in Nigeria.
While experts had argued that Jonathan can’t run because of an amendment to the Constitution which forbids anybody that has completed the tenure of a demised substantive president from even buying a nomination form.

One of such political pundits told TNG, ‘they want to lure Jonathan out of the PDP with some Governors and ex-Ministers and populate APC, only to later tell him that he is not qualified, then, it will be too late for them to go back to PDP.”

He said:“In 2017, they signed the constitutional amendment that disqualified GEJ from running a second term,” declaring: “and in 2021, they are urging him to come join them and run. That is evil, the height of witchcraft and wickedness in high places.”

He cited Section 137(3) of the Constitution inserted by 4th Alteration No.16 of 2017 signed by President Muhammadu Buhari. The Alteration, according to him prescribes: “A person who was sworn-in as President to complete the term for which another person was elected as President shall not be elected to such office for more than a single term.”

“We are not fools. APC and her evil cohorts should visit GEJ as a leader and an epitome of African democracy and forget their selfish and deceitful agenda of urging him to run for Presidency in 2023.

“They should leave GEJ alone to continue his statesman role and enjoy his global respect which they cannot attain and cannot tarnish.”

In another breadth, others are of the view that Jonathan can run because he had left office before the Constitution was amended and laws are not made in retrospect.

On Wednesday, Eze Ikechukwu, Jonathan’s mouth piece had come out openly to declare that his principal is not nursing such an agenda.

The APC too has been shouting to the rooftop that they are more than willing if Jonathan can abandon the party that gave him voice, popularity, fame and umbrella to cover his head since 1999 as if he forgot his towel in Aso Rock.

APC in the history of Nigeria is the only party that has made a serving Governor the acting national chairman of the party when the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) frowns at it.

Nobody has been brave enough not even the PDP with its lacklustre leadership dared to challenge APC.

Simple reasoning, you can’t occupy two executive positions at the same time and excel, it’s impossible because one must suffer but APC appointed Yobe Governor as caretaker chairman and nothing has happened because Nigerians now believe Justice cannot be delivered in this Nigerian political environment.

To finally nail it, APC wants Jonathan to go on a mission impossible so that power can comfortably shift to the North in 2027, the major reason why he was removed to balance the years that demise of Umaru Yar’Adua caused.
